CASASdeCASPER - Apartment Alkmaar

It's a lovely property loctated by a pretty canal and very close to the centre. Despite this the area is very quiet and peaceful. The property had all the facilities you would need and it was very clean. The owners were contactable if needed and very friendly The welcoming bottle of wine was a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay in Alkmaar and would stay here again should we ever return.

Die Wohnung hat einen wundervollen Charme und eine phantastische Lage. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und die Betten sehr bequem. Im Wohnzimmer und auch vor dem Haus sitzt man mit herrlichem Blick auf die gegenüberliegende historische Häuserzeile und die Gracht. Vor unliebsamen Blicken ist man in den Schlafräumen durch tolle inliegende Shutters geschützt und kann bei hohen Temperaturen dennoch lüften Ein Deckenventilator bringt zusätzliche Frische. Direkt vor der Haustür ist man fußläufig in den wunderschönen Gässchen der Altstadt, vom abendlichen Trubel aber gerade weit genug entfernt.

Leider geht nicht jeder Mieter immer sehr sorgfältig mit der Einrichtung um und daher könnte man hier und da kleinere Schönheitsreparaturen durchführen. Zwar gibt es nur eine klassische Fillter-Kaffeemaschine in der Wohnung, aber in ca. 200m Entfernung gibt es eine tolle Rösterei (Darras Coffee Roasters, Langestraat 2).

Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Ebenso die Unterkunft. Es hat alles gestimmt, so wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben.

Mit der Funktion des Backofens sind wir nicht zurecht gekommen. Haben aber eine andere Lösung für uns gefunden.

De locatie, het mooi , gezellig ingerichte huis. De heerlijke matrassen om op te slapen!

Het enige minpuntje is de mooie douche. Niet volledig afgesloten waardoor het nogal nat is in de badkamer.

De gehorigheid van boven appartement en buiten.

Een heel gezellig ingericht en zeer compleet appartement (flesje wijn bij aankomst, handdoeken, zeep, koffie en thee). En niet te vergeten ook héél schoon!! Ik vind het een absolute aanrader zo middenin het centrum. Ik heb ontzettend genoten met mijn 3 dochters.

Een klein minpuntje is dat het wel wat gehorig is. Maar dat weegt voor mij niet op tegen hoe mooi het appartement is.

Optimale Lage mitten in der Altstadt, viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Great location, lovely building

Everything about the apartment was exceptional. Extremely well furnished, underfloor heating in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and the location perfect. The host thoughtfully left wine and biscuits to welcome us. Information sheets available for TV, Wi-Fi etc. Second time at this lovely apartment and we will definitely return again.

Centraal gelegen, op loopafstand van leuke winkelstraten.

Jammer dat de auto niet bij de accommodatie geparkeerd kon worden. Maar voor €15,- heeft hij 3 dagen veilig in een parkeergarage op 15 minuten loopafstand kunnen staan. Verder ‘s nachts overlast gehad van uitgaanspubliek, maar dat is inherent aan de centrale locatie.

Sehr großzügige Wohnung mit hochwertiger Ausstattung in absolut zentraler, aber trotzdem sehr ruhiger Lage. Klasse ist auch der separate Fahrradraum (vorher zu reservieren). Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und haben auf alles sehr schnell reagiert. Sehr gute Betten.

Der Code für das Schlüsselfach war falsch und es konnte erst über einen Nachbarn geklärt werden. Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr könnte etwas verbessert werden.

Home feeling, beautiful house with excellent location. It had everything we needed and the owner helped us with questions when we had them. Couldn’t have been better!

Det enda som störde var att boendet ligger mycket nära restaurangkvarteren. Eftersom vi bokat fredag till söndag var det många högljudda människor utanför när vi skulle sova.

This is a beautiful apartment, very clean and comfortable. It is close to the shops and restaurants - a perfect spot.We loved being right next to the canal and liked to sit at the front of the house and watch the boats and paddleboarders. It's good for families young and old as there are no stairs and there's a nice walk-in shower. Good communication from the owner, too. Easy to get to on foot from the train station.

We came by public transport but there is no parking very close by if you are travelling with a vehicle.

This apartment is a true gem. There are so many details, large and small, that make this place special, unique, and feel like a home that’s even better than home. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Alkmaar along one of its most beautiful canals. The apartment is situated on the most charming street in town, just a minute away from lively bars and restaurants. Yet, inside it’s incredibly peaceful – we were often surprised by the vibrant scene outside when we stepped out, as we didn’t hear it at all from inside. Some of the best sleep of our lives was had here, and the nearby supermarket was perfect for daily grocery runs, allowing us to enjoy fresh items without waste. The apartment is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. Everything you could possibly need is provided – from kitchen utensils to towels, bedding, and even a large TV. The design is lovely, with colorful floral arrangements, ornate wallpaper, and plenty of mirrors that make getting ready easy for multiple people. We especially loved the round table in front of the large window, which offers a great view of the street while still feeling private. It quickly became our favorite spot in the apartment. Storage was also impressive. Despite my initial worry about fitting all our bags, there was more than enough space to store everything, with plenty of hidden nooks and cabinets to keep things out of sight. The layout of the apartment is clever, with the bedrooms and bathroom completely separate from the light-filled living room and kitchen. The doors between these areas ensure that those who want to sleep can do so undisturbed. I must also mention the owners. They were an addition part of our exceptional experience – gracious, responsive, and discreet. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic stay, always available when needed but never intrusive. We honestly couldn’t think of a single thing that could be improved. We are greatly looking forward to our return visit.

There is literally nothing I can name here. EVERYTHING was just larger than life.

Absolutely perfect. Immaculately clean, beautifully furnished with everything you would want in a holiday apartment. Wine and biscuits as a lovely welcome gift, comfortable bed, lots of hot water for a shower or bath, well appointed kitchen... gas cooker, a chef's delight. We felt so at home, so secure and in the centre of the old town but in a lovely, quiet street. Can only highly recommend and will definitely return. Thanks to the owners for providing such a haven.

The apartment is in an excellent location from which to explore Alkmaar; it is close to the town centre yet very quiet. It is a very spacious property and possesses a very good array of facilities, especially in the kitchen area. The owner was very helpful too, both before the trip and during it.

The lighting in the double bedroom was not functioning properly, leaving only two small bedside lights to illuminate the rest of the room. Also, guests should be prepared to pay a city tax for each day of their stay, so leave some euros spare!"

Really great apartment in perfect location.

The lack of washer is a problem for longer stays. But I understand there just isn't space for it in the apartment.

The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and in a perfect location. The host was very responsive to questions. We were truly sad to leave after our week was finished. We loved the apartment and we loved Alkmaar!

Spotless, well located near a canal , spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet but close to the sites. We recommend this place and will return.

Only the bathroom door kept sticking! Everything else was as it should be.

Charming, spacious and light, clean and comfortable appartement at a great location at one of the most beautiful canals of Alkmaar, close to lots of nice streets, shops, restaurants/bars and other things. Good facilities (kitchen, bathroom, sitting area, bedrooms, etc). Friendly owners (contact through booking app) and very friendly and helpful mother of one of the owners who lives above the appartement. The price is high but the appartement did not disappoint. Children’s cot and high chair (for toddler) were missing at first, but were on our request quickly brought by the owners mother (mentioned above).
