Reviewed Jul 20, 2026We rode the Dunstan trail into Clyde and so didn't have a car. Clyde on Naylor is perfectly located for a short stroll to numerous eateries for dinner and breakfast. Perfect location.

And there's a perfect book written by them containing all the services in town, including restaurants, cafes, hiking routes... and also the mining history of the town. The landlord couple is so nice as well and they are willing to offer you suggestions.

Perhaps a toppa pad on the bed would make it more soft for old bones

It would have made our lives a lot easier if there was a microwave (we had to defrost frozen veges using boiling water), although I can see that it would be difficult to fit in

Easy to get to The bike hire companies in the morning with your luggage as 20m down the road, so good!! New modern room and bathroom, super clean and tidy with everything you need. Very happy, would recommend and happily stay again We stayed here the night before heading out on the Otago Rail Trail.
