L'appartamento non era del tutto pulito, è datato, il cortile per accedere alla casa la sera era pieno di scarafaggi che sono entrati anche dentro l'appartamento nonostante tutte le finestre e le porte fossero chiuse (mai aperte nonostante il caldo).

Falta de conforto: falta de decoração no apartamento, de modo a tornar o ambiente mais cosy; pouca loiça, por ex copos, tuperwares; toalhas de banho extras, caso fosse necessário; a água do duche não era quente e teria sido agradável, como acontece nos outros AL, um miminho como por ex cápsulas para o café, garrafa de água. Ficam as sugestões para o futuro.

Quite difficult to find - recommend to provide joining instructions that say you can park anywhere for free that would take the stress away from trying to find the front door to find the host.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Great location near restaurants, marina, and maybe with a Mount Pico view if you get a good unit. The apartment is spacious. The bed is very large and reasonably comfortable. Large refrigerator and kitchen necessities provided.
A giant cockroach showed up in bedroom on day one. Other than that, the host tries to keep the place clean. The floor in living room is very uneven in front of sofa in our unit. Needs attention. Check-in process is a bit cumbersome especially if you arrive by car. You have to find a parking spot without instruction and then figure out how to find the host. Then, you may be walking with the host to the apartment and move your car afterwards.

O apartamento necessita de uma limpeza profunda urgente. A cozinha não se encontrava devidamente limpa, existindo loiça mal lavada guardada nos armários. Na casa de banho, o chuveiro encontra-se bastante danificado, necessita de ser reparado ou substituído. O apartamento tem um ótimo espaço, mas não é acolhedor devido ao desgaste e falta de atenção ao detalhe das mobílias e decoração.

Reviewed May 4, 2026Good condition of the apartment. Museums, cafes, services, shops, supermarkets are in the walking distance. Kitchen is equipped. Not difficult to park in the surrounding area.
Horta isn't a busy city, it is a nice small town in the middle of Atlantic. But if you're based in the very center of it the noise from the car traffic roaming historical cobblestone streets gives you some noise.

As soon as we walked in, we could smell mold/mildew. It didn’t take long to see where it was coming from: it was everywhere — in the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom, even on the fridge door. Honestly, I don’t understand how this place has such good reviews on Booking. I stayed here for one night and would not recommend it. You can also hear a lot of noise from the street; the apartment has very poor sound insulation. It really needs a deep and thorough cleaning. Also, the oven wasn’t clean, AT ALL

The apartment lacks some "love" like new shades ( those were dirty/frayed/with mold). In order to make it feel cozier it would need some more color eg. pictures, curtains, some decoration.

Es un apartamento donde hace mucho calor. Está al laso de una calle empedrada y se escucha mucho ruído de los coches. Las persianas se la habitación estaban rotas. En el baño nos encontrábamos cucarachas.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025La ubicación es absolutamente excepcional. Las vistas desde la terraza son las mejores de Horta. La recepción de la anfitriona fue correcta y nos permitió dejar el equipaje en su casa hasta la hora del check in.
Debería renovar el menaje y cuidar un poco más los detalles del apartamento y sería de 10.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2025Sunrise was amazing ! I like the host ! She was so kind and patient and waited for us for a very late check in with no extra charge . Bed in master was great, but sofa bed was broken I put a chair under to use it not a big deal she was so nice that was more important to us. I would definitely recommend this place location is great .
Sofa bed was damaged , but otger than that was great for us (3 people)

Das Apartment ist sehr groß, aber nur mit den notwendigen Möbeln ausgestattet! Es fehlen Bilder an den Wänden. Aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit bildet sich schnell Schimmel in der Dusche, an den Rollos und im Schlafzimmer. Kurzer Weg zu den Restaurants und zum Hafen.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2025Im Prinzip alles da, was man braucht. Lage ist gut, quasi direkt am Hafen. Die beiden äußeren Apartments haben wahrscheinlich auch einen guten Blick. Super, dass man die Waschmaschine (kostenlos) benutzen kann!
Schlafzimmer extrem warm (August), die Klimaanlage kühlt nur das Wohnzimmer, Fenster aufmachen ist schwierig, da direkt an der lauten Strasse. Die Küche war nicht sehr sauber. Der Außenbereich nicht einladend und kaum nutzbar (kein Schatten, Tisch steht neben dem Abluftgerät der Klimaanlage). Man könnte viel mehr daraus machen.
