I was very happy with the hotel overall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was comfortable and well maintained.

The location and surrounding neighbourhood felt a bit unsafe, so I was not comfortable going for my usual morning runs. Unfortunately, the hotel’s transport also broke down, which meant they were unable to pick me up as arranged.

It was my 2nd visit and I love everything about the hotel, staff friendly and respond immediately to if there is something that you need. I will definitely book again.

My bathroom carpets were dirty, that was the only thing that was not clean in the room. After reporting they were taken out and replaced by clean one.

Parking, Area, Cleanliness, Overall Maintenance. **Disappointing stay despite friendly staff** The staff at Lilian Lofts were all very friendly, welcoming and willing to assist, which was definitely a positive. Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with our stay that I feel future guests should be aware of. Firstly, if you are not familiar with the area, I feel that the photos advertised online can be misleading. The outside and surrounding area do not look like they do in the photos and have much more of a CBD/urban feel. This was not what we expected when booking. We also booked a **loft that was advertised as having two double beds**, but when we arrived, the room actually had **one double bed and two single beds**. This was disappointing as the accommodation we received did not match what was shown when we made the booking. The cleanliness was another major concern. **The accommodation was not clean at all**, and the hallways also had an unpleasant/funny smell. This really affected our first impression and overall experience. The biggest issue, however, was the parking. The property is advertised as having **secure parking**, which was important to us. We came earlier specifically to check in and arrange our parking spot. We were then informed that there was limited parking and that it worked on a first-come, first-served basis. We made arrangements for our parking before leaving. When we returned later, however, all the parking spaces had been taken. We were told that the staff member from the previous shift had not communicated the parking arrangements to the new staff member on duty. As a result, our vehicle had to remain outside overnight. Considering the area, this did not feel safe or secure, especially when secure parking had been advertised.

Security kept coming due to noise. That was our fault but it was annoying. Thanks for not kicking us out.

Very cool rooms, warm showers, and nice to have a full kitchen! This turned out to be a great option for our brief stay in Johannesburg. The location of Lilian Lofts is convenient if you're interested in visiting places closer to downtown Jburg, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the value cannot be beat.

Not a walkable neighborhood, but that wasn't a problem as we were driving places from the hotel.

The place is cold.. I don't even think in summer its warm . We did not have a iron so we called room service they brought the iron but the person who brought it made it uncomfortable for us. He kept asking to iron at first we thought his joking but he confirmed he wasn't. It was creepy cause there were 4 woman there . And in South Africa with the rate of violence against woman its disgusting.

The loft was clean and spacious. Everything about it was lovely

There was not enough secured parking for the night, and the surrounding area was not particularly the safest, but the security guard kept guard of the cars throughout the night

Spacious rooms, liked the design concept with personality, the bed was comfy, proper room AC, helpful and nice staff.

Lack of soundproofing allowing all noises from neighbors, bathroom design not very practical, kitchen equipment is very limited

The room service was a scam. I ordered food at the cost of R180 but the value of the food I received was less than R20 to be honest and the so-called waitress couldn't provide me with the receipt claiming that their machine was not working.

Honestly what's there not to love ? From the entrance very neat beautiful modern and a very warm welcome. I loved my room I booked this was home away from home. The room was a 10/10 loved the smart tv as well.

The surrounding area isn't really esthetically pleasing , but this place a true hidden gem .

Real value for money in a surprising location. Room was wonderful with everything we needed at an affordable cost. What we mentioned as an issue on our last stay, was rectified on this stay. They take customer reviews and suggestions to account in making the experience memorable for clients.

At 11pm right up still til 1 29 am loud noises on the 3rd floor, complained 2 times to reception and they could not handle there guest ,sad .

The style of the room was ideal for a family of four. Rustic vibes studio apartment. Everything you needed was available. The staff was very friendly, I must say. Security guards were very friendly and talked to you in a respectful manner. The lady who was serving us at the restaurant made every effort to make us comfortable and also recommended a very good meal for breakfast.

The neighbourhood is very scary. I must say, the location is really very bad. It cannot be ignored that you are surrounded by very run-down properties and some buildings that look abandoned. The hotel didn't have juice, and the machine that is used to grind coffee beans for coffee was not working.

It's easy to locate it and the staff members are friendly

The parking was limited, and for one to go out at, he/she need to tell the security to ask someone to shift his/her car first. The breakfast ordered was not correctly packed as agreed.
