Beautiful accommodation, excellent location, fully equipped, thoughtfully prepared for our visit and the host was absolutely wonderful - responsive and super helpful. I’d highly recommend staying here!

Nothing - everything was perfect.

What didn't we like?! The property is just a 5 minute walk from a grocery store and the start of the wine tram station. The views were stunning and waking up each day to the mountains, trees and flowers was an incredible experience. The property is modern; bed was super comfortable, bathroom clean, and the hot tub and BBQ are such nice bonuses that we made use of. A big shout out to Elonika for the warm welcome and some amazing treats for our honeymoon - we thoroughly enjoyed them and couldn't be more grateful. Would highly recommend!!

The hut tub! So nice to be warm outside! The view is so peaceful , could look from the window for hours. It’s nice also to go a little through the fields to the small river just next to the house. The staff is really welcoming and nice! The location is great, 10 min by walking from the wine tram station

Quiet and beautiful

The property was absolutely perfect. The small house was located on a lot next to a vineyard, across from a very quiet farm with a fabulous view of the surrounding mountains. There was a rear patio, with a heated jacuzzi, which our host Antoinette had pre-warmed for us. Antoinette also left us a welcoming bouquet of flowers, champagne and candies. Her friendliness and the privacy and condition of the home were the best gift you could imagine for two weary travelers. Thank you Antonette your home was perfect and our stay was memorable and worth 10+ stars on any rating scale. Paul and Patricia

Perfect location to catch the wine tram. 5min walk to the tram station. Walkable to nearby restaurants and supermarkets too. The room is spacious for 2 people with parking available. The is host is very responsive and welcoming.

Wonderful property, superb location. And a big thank you to Antoinette and Elonika.

Gite 3 was perfect; quiet not overlooked and beautiful views. The little touches of flowers and additional provisions were well received! Hot tub perfect! Having an adaptor was such a small and could be considered trivial but so important and apprecaited!! Antoinette could not do enough for us.

The only thing I could suggest is perhaps a runner inside the door, to aid the transition from dirty / wet outdoor shoes to clean indoor shoes.

Great stay. Love the morning view. Short drive away from everything. Got to enjoy the hot tub as we arrived in cold winter day.

The host greeted us on arrival and took us to our room. The heater was already running when we walked through the door and they had preheated the Kol Kol for us as well. When we told them it was our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary bottle of bubbles. Wonderful service, lovely host and a beautiful mountain view.

We really enjoyed the setting. Close to town and yet very quiet and private. Loved being on the farm.

Well appointed cottage close to the heart of Franschhoek. Host (Antionette) is super friendly and proactive, was a pleasure checking-in and getting settled. Spacious and well decorated, and the wood-fired hot tub is a real highlight (and was already hot for my arrival!).

For privacy purposes, the gite doesn't face towards the vineyards and mountains. It's a pity as the view is stunning! Value for money is also questionable, although Franschhoek is more aligned with European pricing so in that sense, it's on par and arguably solid value for the area.

Beautiful location surrounded by vineyards and mountains, with a very peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and the hot tub was a great addition after long days exploring the area! Great location for visiting wineries and restaurants in the area. Antoinette, the owner, was incredibly responsive and always helpful when we needed it, and her food and drinks recommendations were spot on!

Everything was perfect. Antoinette and her staff made our stay very comfortable . We will definitely be back.

We really had a fantastic time. There was a huge storm just before our arrival, but luckily we had lovely days in Franschhoek. Our cabin was well-equiped and comfortable. The view was awesome and so was the peace and quiet. Really lovely. We enjoyed our walks on the farm and the hot tub was amazing, as they always are. We apologize for the mess, but the bottom of the charcoal bag broke. It was really awesome to stay at Gite and we'd recommend it anytime. Lovely, friendly hosts. Thank you.

The house was amazing!

Location was superb. Walking distance to everything, yet felt like you were in a secluded little place away from everything. Surrounded by mountains, vineyards and greenery it felt very private.

The fact that you are literally in the middle of a wine farm, its so quiet and you have everything you need, topping with a hot tub; not to mention that its 3-5 min walk from the wine tram station. An amazing stay for sure, and would definitely recommend to anyone

Vacker blombukett och välkomstgåva. Väldigt rent, trevligt, fräscht, estetiskt. Välkomnande. Värdinnan kom och berättade hur allt funkade och svarade på våra frågor. Väldigt nära wine tram, promenad på några minuter. Nära till matbutik. Bilen ställde vi utanför huset. Vi gillade att bo här. Vår uteplats var insysnskyddad, Tryggt!

När jag bokade trodde att utsikten från vår uteplats skulle vara vinrankor men det var en "egen trädgård" hade önskat vinrankor, ingen stor sak. Solstolarna var inte supersköna. Om vi hade velat laga mat hade det nog varit lite utmanande då köksdelen är ganska liten. Dörren var trög att öppna och stänga.

My stay was perfect. Antoinette was super friendly and was willing to take me around town and gave great advice on which sites not to miss. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was splendid, beautiful views. Host Antoinette was very kind - helped us with settling down, heating of the hot tub and even went out of her way to bring us out to the main road on our of day of check. The place was speckless, we really enjoyed ourselves and the facilities provided (hot tub and braai).

Staying at Gîte was truly magnificent. We stayed for two nights and were looking for a place near the wine tram in Franschhoek. It's a 5-minute walk from the property to the tram through a secured area. The house is located among the vineyards, in a very picturesque spot. The house itself is very clean, comfortable, and everything is thought through down to the smallest detail. You can park your car right next to the cottage. The hosts are easy to contact and very friendly. We were very lucky with this accommodation — 11 out of 10.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and idyllic place. We especially loved relaxing in the warm hot tub in the evenings while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the amazing view of the vineyard. The location is also great, as everything is within walking distance. We felt very well taken care of and safe during our whole stay thanks to the attentive hosts. We would definitely recommend this accommodation and would love to come back.

Unser Aufenthalt im Gite 1, das über ein separates Schlafzimmer verfügt, war von Anfang bis Ende wunderbar. Wir wurden von Elonika so herzlich empfangen. Sie erklärte uns die Einrichtung ganz ausführlich. Im Garten befindet sich ein Hottub, den wir sowohl als auch „hot“ and „cold“ nutzten. Die Aussicht auf die Weinlandschaft durch das große Panoramafenster des Hauptraumes ist einmalig. Mein Mann hatte Geburtstag, so dass es zu unserer Überraschung ein „Welcome“ gab. Danke nochmals dafür, wir haben uns den Sekt schmecken lassen. Auf Anfrage wurden uns von der Eigentümerin Kerzen gebracht. Alles sehr persönlich und überdurchschnittlich freundlich. Kurzzeitig ging das Internet nicht. Man wollte uns für diesen Missstand sogar eine Erstattung zukommen lassen. Don ´t worry - für uns war das überhaupt kein Problem. Fußläufig ist der Terminal der Franschhoek Weintram zu erreichen. Uber steht zur Verfügung und bringt einen bis direkt vor die „Haustür“.

Our "Gite" was located in a part of a farm in the middle of grapes with a nice mountain view. The architecture and interior design is super cool and modern. We had a little veranda, a jacuzzi, you can have a barbecue, really a super nice place. It is easy to walk in 5 to 10 minutes in the city centre, very close to the "wine buses". Antoinette is a very nice and supportive host, it was a great pleasure to stay here.

• Initial safety concerns quickly put to rest: hosts answered every question directly and reassuringly before arrival. • Early arrival? We were lucky, they welcomed us before check-in and gave a quick, helpful tour. • Gite 1 is spacious, with a separate bedroom and plenty of room to relax. • Large terrace and garden offer both sun and shade all day — just shift the loungers. • Easy access to town: walkable, or grab an Uber (best from the Artisan Village gate). • The wood-fired plunge pool/hot tub adds a rustic, fun touch to the stay. • Perfect balance: close to town yet private, with stunning views and a peaceful vibe.

• The pillows weren’t to our taste — one too soft, the other too firm. • A dedicated AC unit in the bedroom would be a welcome addition for hotter nights.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Gite. Die Unterkunft hat eine atemberaubenden Ausblick und ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Gastgeberin Elonika hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und bei Ankunft alles in Ruhe erklärt. Der mit Holz beheizte Hot Tub ist natürlich das absolute Highlight. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male im Gite und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Die Nähe zum Ort, die Ruhe im Grünen und das nebenan erreichbare La Provence Bistro - alles sehr schön!

Everything, it was clean and spacious and the people were absolutely friendly and helpful. Amazing stay we wish we could have stayed much longer and hope that we can came back! We got for example beautiful flowers on the table which we enjoyed the home stay. Home away from home 🫶

Everything was wonderful - there are not enough good things to say about Gite! Perfect location - close to restaurants and wineries but still secluded and quiet. Stunning decor, comfortable, has everything you need for a long stay. Antoinette was so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend!

Die Gite war ein zauberhafte Unterkunft. Sehr gut mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll dekoriert mit frischen Blumen. Auch die Betreuung durch Antoinette vor Ort war perfekt und unkompliziert über Whats App und jederzeit für uns da.Aufgrund der Hitze haben wir den Hot Tub einfach nicht angeheizt und zum Abkühlen genutzt! Wer eine Nacht eine in den Weinfeldern verbringen möchte ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

Es ist etwas außerhalb hinter der Weintramstation und im Dunklen nicht für einen Spaziergang zum Abendessen geeignet. Man braucht ein Auto oder einen Fahrer, den uns Antoinette vermittelt hat.

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, mit einem fantastischen Ausblick. Sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war perfekt, die Ausstattung prima und die Gastgeber sehr herzlich - was möchte man mehr? Sehr gerne wieder!

De host heeft ons met open armen ontvangen en had ervoor gezorgd dat de hot tub al aan het opwarmen was. De accommodatie ligt tussen de wijnvelden met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. De accommodatie was modern, lichtrijk en perfect gelegen in het centrum van Franschhoek. We hadden er graag langer gebleven.

The Gite are very close together. We were sitting in the outdoor spa and heard our neighbours having sex.

Die Gîte sind sehr zentral gelegen. Innerhalb von 3 Minuten ist man am Bahnhof der Winetram. Gleichzeitig ist es super privat. Ein Highlight ist natürlich der eigene Whirlpool und der fantastische Blick in die Weinberge. Angesichts unserer Flitterwochen wurden wir mit Blumen, Schokolade und Sekt begrüßt. Die Gastgeber standen uns bei Rückfragen jederzeit zur Seite. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen! Es ist eine tolle Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung.

Die Aktivierung des Alarmsystems war zunächst unklar, konnte aber in einem Gespräch mit Antoinette direkt geklärt werden.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views. The host Antoniette was incredibly responsive and made check-in easy. Had welcoming chocolates and hot tub had been warmed prior to arriving. We truly enjoyed our 2 days here, and I would definitely stay again!

Tolles Haus mit Hot-Pool. Es waren nur knapp 500 Meter zum Supermarkt oder zum Wine Tram. Und nur wenige Meter mehr bis in die Stadt. Toll und ruhig gelegen.

Antionette could not have done anymore to make our visit more luxury and special, she is honestly the nicest lady! The place was in a beautiful area away from the Main Street and equipped with all the necessary security requirements to ensure you and your belongings remained safe at all times. The place is equipped with everything you need to enjoy the hot tub, nature and surroundings. It was also less than 5 mins from the wine tram (behind a security gate which was manned 24h) which was perfect when we stumbled home! We wanted to hang around the day of check off and the staff kindly looked after our belongings whilst we enjoyed the town. Couldn’t recommend more and if we ever return we look forward to seeing Antoinette again 🌷

Beautifully laid up bottle of bubbles and bouquet of indigenous flowers on our arrival with local chocolates - gift congratulating us on our honeymoon. Elonika was fabulous!! Thank you for going the extra mile for us!

Felt a little stuffy, ventilation prob could be better. Bed was a little low for us. Uber driver had difficulty finding the place. We had to walk to the main road to meet uber driver. It rained hard early that morning so the short segment of dirt road to and from the property was muddy. Otherwise a great stay.

Our hostess Elonika gave us the warmest welcome, what a pleasure to see a friendly face upon arrival. Everything was prepared, jacuzzi was already warm and we didn't have to start the fire.
