Reviewed Sep 7, 2026My accommodation at Bluemere Living was one of the highlights of my trip. My room felt so special and beautifully designed. I appreciated the thoughtfulness of the hosts, for example having the room be warmed up each evening upon arrival, having plug-points at the headboard to charge phones, the indoor fire-place, and the dressing gowns. The cleaning and gardening staff were friendly and helpful. My room was private and the stunning windows, from floor to ceiling, created a sense of me sleeping in the bush. There is a private courtyard - perfect for outdoor braaing and dining. The views from the pool are breath-taking! I can't recommend Bluemere Living enough!
No complaints, I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Reviewed Jan 27, 2026We had a wonderful stay at Bluemere Living, the apartments were modern, stylish, and very comfortable. The self-catering units are thoughtfully designed with everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, and a lovely private patio area with braai facilities. Guests also enjoy free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and a small swimming pool to relax in after a day of exploring.
The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Lowveld nature, which made my stay incredibly relaxing. The setting feels private and tranquil, yet it’s still only a short drive (about 5–7 km) from central White River, convenient for shops, restaurants and as a base to explore the Panorama Route and nearby Kruger National Park.
What really made the experience special was the friendly and helpful host, John, he was welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the stay.
The towels could smell fresher, and the apartment would benefit from a proper deep clean for stays longer than two days.

Reviewed Jan 22, 2026It's very calm. Unfortunately, it was raining so couldn't get out of the room. The place is very calming so best place to relax and just watch the view. You can do your own food which is very good in case you are travelling for calmness and just spend time with your own Selve :-).
Also the room is lovely with a space for a braai and some animals visiting you from the window :-). I loved watching them :-)
I arrived at the room at the end of the day and there were small bugs inside the room, so I requested someone to come clean. I was informed that there was no one available to do it since the cleaning staff leave the hotel at 2 PM. Therefore, for any needs during the stay, you can't count on anyone :-(.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026Well appointed, clean room with all you need. The outside area is private with a gas braai, and good views. There is a small communal pool Good security - well worth it and good value for money for a one nighter.
It may feel a little crapped if you stay for 2+ days. Some of the pans could be replaced

Workers not walking past the front side of the rooms because we have the curtains opened from early morning to absorb the beauty of the landscape so we expect some privacy

Some of the finishes need a little love but nothing was horrible. The kitchen bin is too small for a self catering unit.

Reviewed May 18, 2025The apartment was stunning, and its architecture was impressive. The wall sized window had the most peaceful view, and the space itself was relaxing. The outdoor shower was a new and wonderful experience for us.
The bed was very hard for me, and it made my sleep unbearable, mostly because of my operation, but the rest of the space made up for it.
