Marizan Caves & Villas

The entire experience at Marizan Caves & Villas completely exceeded our expectations! Anna and the entire staff were incredible. The view and the location were both stunning...privately located at the end of a quiet street (away from all the main crowded noisy streets). The private villas and private pools are gorgeous and the private breakfast served to us on our balcony every morning was our favourite part of the stay! We were so happy that we chose this place for our first experience in Santorini. We definitely will be back!!! :)

Water temperature of the hot tub could have been better. The steps within the bathroom were a little dangerous at night and got very wet after a shower so one had to pit a few towels on them otherwise very slippery

There is nothing not to love about the property. It was amazing. The views were spectacular, It was so wonderful and the breakfast was amazing. I can’t say one bad thing!!! our room was great. The shower was great. It was clean. We loved it and the plunge pool!

There was not much space for luggage and your suitcases and in the bathroom there wasn’t a lot of space to put your toiletries. Our particular cave villa number four, which was the Sunset Cave Villa did not have room for additional seating to lounge in the sun.just the table.

Alojamiento alejado del bullicio de Oia, pero a su vez muy céntrico, con vistas maravillosas. El trato recibido ha sido excelente, Anna fue muy atenta y nos aconsejó muy bien. Todo está muy limpio. Nos transportaron las maletas hasta el parking y los desayunos son deliciosos. En definitiva, excelente.

O hotel é muito bem localizado. O quarto bem equipado , camas confortáveis . A vista é espetacular para a caldeira. A Anna K. foi perfeita durante a nossa estadia, nos passando dicas importantes e ajudando com reservas de carro, Transfer, etc. muito obrigado Anna.

This accommodation had an absolutely spectacular view. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and willing to help with anything we needed. It was an incredible experience and without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. I highly recommend it!

Excellent and kind staff. rooms were spotless clean and staff responded immediately. staff is not available after 11pm but they remind that to you in advance so this is just informative and not a complaint. Best views of caldera and dreamy sunset views. Only downside i view is that pool roof is uncovered in some part and that can be really improved for even greater privacy but again no external crowds make up for it.

Die Anlage ist wirklich sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Im Juni zu den sehr langen Tagen war es leider nicht möglich den Sonnenuntergang ganz über dem Meer zu sehen. Im Zimmer fehlten leider Basics wie Ablagen und Aufhänger usw.

Anna was amazing and very welcoming. She took the time to show us the island on a map with recommendations, and let us know to message her on whatsapp if we needed anything. Which she was quick to respond to. Breakfast was amazing, a great selection to choose from and plenty to fill you up. View was great, just double check where the sun will set during the time of year you stay as it could be partly obstructed if you are wanting the sun dropping into the ocean view.

Not a didnt like but the hot tub could be warmer/have a temperature gauge so you can make it warmer once the sun goes down. A card with your choice for the next days breakfast would be the only improvement needed.

Waking up every morning to such a stunning scenery was unforgettable. I traveled with my daughter, but I would especially recommend this place for couples, as the atmosphere is very romantic and perfect for creating special memories. The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with even the smallest details. Anna was especially wonderful, very kind, attentive, caring, and always making sure everything was perfect for us. The food was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. I would also like to thank the team for all their help with our luggage. They made both our arrival and departure so easy and stress-free. They also arranged transportation for us whenever needed, including transfers to and from the port. The taxi driver was professional, friendly, and reliable. The service, hospitality, food, room, and view were all outstanding. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely love to come back again ❤️🙏🏻

Struttura pulita, dal personale gentile ed attento. La posizione è proprio sul punto più vicino al tramonto, ma ahimè dalle camere non si vedeva il sole nelle ultime fasi del tramonto, però bastava salire all'ingresso della struttura e si poteva tranquillamente vedere. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. La jacuzzi è molto carina e direi quasi essenziale visto che ad Oia non abbiamo trovato uno spot per fare il bagno. Oltretutto è pure riscaldata. La colazione è stupenda. Abbondante il giusto, fresca e buona. Si poteva scegliere da vari menù quella che più si voleva. La televisione è smart, quindi si possono tranquillamente usare netflix e prime. Bravi!

Our family was treated like royalty by Anna and her staff at Marizan Caves & Villas during our stay. The view is worth every penny, as is the service you receive at this hotel. Anna made herself available via text 24 hours a day, which we certainly did not expect. I cannot recall the name of the wonderful man who carried our luggage to and from like it weighed nothing and he ascended all the steps, as well as brought our breakfast to the terrace daily, but he was so kind and gracious. The bedding was very comfortable and the rooms had great air conditioning. We requested laundry service and it was returned within a couple of hours! The quality and taste of the breakfast was wonderful. But the views...they are simply divine. We appreciated Anna providing us with a map of the "village" and directions to get around. We will definitely visit Santorini again and Marizan Caves & Villas will be our first stop!

I cannot think of a single thing I'd change other than, perhaps, signs to help direct you around the resort.

I had an amazing stay at Marizan Villa Cave in Oia. The villa was beautiful, comfortable, spotless, and very well maintained. The staff provided exceptional service and truly went above and beyond to make sure every guest was happy and well taken care of. Anna and her team were absolutely outstanding. They were always helpful, attentive, and willing to do whatever they could to ensure a perfect stay. Their hospitality made a huge difference to my experience. And of course, the sea and caldera view from my villa was simply breathtaking. Waking up to that incredible view every day was unforgettable. I highly recommend Marizan Villa Cave to anyone visiting Oia. Thank you, Anna and team, for such a wonderful experience!

The breakfast delivered to my room offered a variety of choices, and they were all delicious. The view from the room was amazing during the day, in the evening, and at night. The villa was located at the edge of Oia, so it was quiet and not at all bothersome to tourists who had come to watch the sunset. I was grateful that they responded quickly to my questions and requests.

Since it wasn't a particularly hot time of year, I would have been happy if the water temperature in the outdoor jacuzzi had been a little higher.

AMAZING!! We went to Santorini in April for our 25th wedding anniversary and staying in the Cave House at Marizan Caves & Villas in Oil! It more than exceeded our exceptions! From the moment we arrived, Zanet was so helpful. The porters delivered our luggage and Zanet gave us an overview of the island with a lot of recommendations for food. We woke every morning to a beautiful view of the caldera & an incredible breakfast! The crepes with chocolate were decadent. We ended each evening sitting in our hot tub watching the sunset over the Aegean Sea. The Cave House has an 180º view, so you get the best of both worlds... sunrise and sunset. I would highly, highly recommend the Marizan Caves if you are traveling to Santorini!

Hotel incroyable au calme tout au bout de Oia, avec une vue a couper le souffle sur le coucher de soleil (dernier hôtel avant la falaise), et de l autre côté sur le moulin et le château (enfin ce qu'il en reste). Suite spacieuse et confortable avec jacuzzi privé aux premières loges pour le sunset, petit déjeuner bien garni varié et délicieux, Anna a été de très bon conseil pour nous dégoter des excursions et nous réserver des bons restaurants sans surcout de réservation!

Il faut s attendre a monter et descendre des marches mais comme partout a Oia, pas un problème pour nous en tout cas!

Le logement est superbe, la vue de la terrasse sur la baie et le soir sur le sunset ! Incroyable ! Anna à l'accueil a rendu le séjour magique ! Réservation de restaurants aux meilleures places ; itinéraire de visite et conseil de location de voiture qu'elle fait à nôtre place ( en mai precisons !) c'était génial nous avons tout visité ! Le petit déjeuner exceptionnel ! L'option transfert de l'aéroport à l'hôtel très pratique aussi.Séjour inoubliable ! Merci Anna sans vous ça n'aurait pas été le même séjour !

Gorgeous setting, private, quiet feel due to location, even though a short walk to the core of Oia. We loved hanging out in our patio's hot tub around sunset- perfect setting to experience the stunning views. The facilities were spotless, the owners and staff so accommodating, and the room was so nicely and thoughtfully designed. Bonuses were the delicious breakfasts brought to our room each morning, and the ease of parking. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend Marizan as a base for exploring this matchless island (we stayed three nights and had about 3 full days to explore).

This property is absolutely amazing. It’s a 5 or less minute walk to all of the iconic Santorini spots, yet tucked away as one of the last hotels on the island away from the insane crowds that would otherwise look into your private balcony area. Clean, amazing breakfast brought to you, great room service and the most outgoing, friendly people working here that will do anything to assist in making your stay more comfortable. I’d spend the money and then some all over again in a heartbeat!

Extremely close to the parking lot so we did not have to worry about our luggage, the staff took it for us straight to the villa. The caldera view from the room is breathtaking. While everyone visiting Santorini ran to find the best sunset spot, we could watch is comfortably from our villa. There was a good selection of breakfast every morning that you could select from their set menu options, the staff was extremely nice, and the rooms were so nice. The hot tub and sun bed definitely made it better. It’s the last hotel on that strip so it was so private and quiet compared to hotels that are in the main areas where every tourist passes by. There was even a huge sitting area at the very top where you could relax and chill (I used it as my photo session spot every day)

I wish the room windows had tinted glass so you were able to see the views from the room and not have to worry about being seen by other people (from the other rooms) passing by

Die Lage des Hotels ist fantastisch. Am Rande von Oia , allrs super zu Fuss erreichbar. Tolles, hilfsbereites Personal. Leckeres Frühstück. Der Whirlpool war schön warm, sodass man auch am Abend diesen noch nutzen konnte. Rundum fantastisch.

Location was ok but not so convenient. view was good but SPA water was cold. Bathrooms had bad smell. Also, Breakfast was not good and forced to pick the same menu for all guests. The sausages in the breakfast looked like few tiny pepperoni pieces instead. Stayed at other places much nicer views for half the price and with great breakfast selections.

The hotel is stunning and offers the best views of the sunsets. The thousands of people who go to view the sunset are literally prevented from entering the hotel grounds, which makes it so private and safe to view the nightly sunsets. The rooms are quintessential Santorini and are stunning within the caves. The porters also carried our luggage for us - which was a VERY long walk.

The complimentary breakfast was good but not great. The hotel is a bit outdated in the decor and could be more modern. pools weren't as private as you would expect them to be.

部屋が綺麗で可愛かったです！！！今回は2泊3日でしたが1週間くらい泊まりたかったくらいです。 ジャグジーやサンドベッドも綺麗でした！そこから見える夕陽がとても素晴らしいです！感動しました。夕陽が沈む前にスタッフがサントリーニワインを部屋に持ってきてくれました。夕日を見ながら飲むワインは最高でした！ハネムーンだったからか、はちみつタルトケーキもいただきました！

Perfect, tranquil place to stay for a quiet getaway! I cannot recommend the Marizan enough. We were able to enjoy breathtaking sunsets right from our pool, which made the experience unforgettable. The service was brilliant – staff were incredibly courteous and attentive throughout our stay. Our bedroom had the most stunning ocean view, truly out of this world, and breakfast was beautifully laid out for us each morning. The location was ideal as well, with the main sightseeing spots just a short walk away. Hermosa ubicación en Oía, la mejor para el ver el atardecer. Muy cómodo el y lindo el lugar. Muy amables. Las valijas te las llevan hasta el Departamento porque es un Acceso un tanto complicado para llevar equipaje. Pero ellos lo resuelven.

No había toallas suficientes. El Espacio de ducha se tapaba cuando nos bañábamos (no llegaba a desbordase). No siempre podes Ubicar al anfitrión por alguna necesidad

Loved everything! We arrived late at night so Marios helped us order dinner and drinks so we could relax right away. Zanet helped me every single day via her personal WhatsApp from ordering food to helping to plan our hike. Night time room cleaning service is a great touch. Uninterrupted sunset views of the Caldera as Marizan is the last lot of villas on the cliff. Sensational stay!
