We loved the location. We appreciated the wifi.
The flat was dirty upon arrival with hairs all over the bathroom. The taps in both the shower & sink were filthy and full of soap &/or toothpaste residue. When venturing outside (as it was a heatwave) we had no outdoor furniture or seating area whatsoever and were greeted by loads of cigarette dimps littered all over the garden so the outside space was pointless. The oven was full of grease and burnt on food- so much so we couldn't use it at all. Scuff marks all over the walls from the furniture- definitely not shown in the pictures! We ended up cleaning the property ourselves. We did contact the host who offered to send a cleaner which we declined as we were on a short break and 1.) We shouldn't have to wait around and then supervise a clean which should have already been completed and 2.) We felt uncomfortable and didn't want to be disturbed. Considering they charge £75 for a 'Cleaning Fee' we would expect the place to be clean without the need for a return visit. The property lacked basic essentials like teaspoons, the outdoor furniture and the kitchen was definitely under equipped compared to other properties in the area (we visit Crewe often). The host's communication was hit and miss and they refused to take my complaints seriously despite me providing many photographs of our findings, they simply apologised and thanked me for my feedback. Sadly, I cannot recommend this property, there are many near by alternatives offering much better value for money and they are clean! I should have known from the beginning when they didn't follow policy and attempted to charge me for my assistance dog. I had to constantly reiterate to them that this was in fact against the law and their own policies. The property is actually advertised as pet friendly but then they want to charge you £150 as well as the £350 damage deposit.
Such a great property with everything we needed. Host was always available if anything was needed. Will definitely book again
Fabulous apartment, beautifully presented and very well equipped. It was the perfect location for me and I will definitely book again when I’m back in the area.
There isn’t anything I didn’t like. The hosts emailed to confirm they were on hand if I needed anything.
the situation of rooms, the size, the furniture, and the equipment are relevant for the long-term stay. The host is available at all times and a few problems at the beginning were easy to solve. Aldi is near the apartment
I miss hair -dryer
