Reviewed Oct 25, 2025Delightful apartment with nice view out over Lake Taupo. Peaceful and private with nice little patio area for enjoying the views. Lovely host was welcoming and sent a follow up message during stay to double check all was good - but didn't intrude on the stay. Apartment is as per photos with one of everything you could need and everything clean and beautifully presented. The sofas were particularly comfortable - we wanted to take them with us!!!

Reviewed Oct 23, 2024Everything. This place is even more beautiful than the pictures; the view of the lake, the gardens and the interior of the house are immaculate. The hot tub was also wonderful to relax in.
We were a little surprised to find that the second bed was in the main living space. It was however in a nook and the private bedroom had another exit and entry to the balcony which made it seem more private.

The kindness of the hosts when my flight was cancelled - checking up on my progress to the apartment and putting on the lights and heater so I was comfortable on arrival.

Plus it was just a walk away from the lovely Acacia Bay and the lovely restaurant and bar The Bay. The kitchen and pantry was well stocked and we loved the fact that a litre of milk was provided and we loved the wine.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2023Excellent location, and lovely lake view. The apartment was very well equipped with everything we needed, and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the use of the spa pool, not something we would normally use, but much appreciated after long walks in the National Park.
Not really sure I can criticise anything, but if forced I would say the bed was a little low to get in and out of.

Everything had been thought of to make it comfortable from heating, electric blankets, pantry staples, coffee machine and plunger, washing machine, dryer and iron, lovely bathroom products, cleaning supplies, spa pool. We arrived to a warm apartment, complimentary bubbles and chocolates plus fresh flowers in vase. Such beautiful touches. Hosts checked in but were respectful of our privacy. You will love your stay here. Warmly recommend.

It had everything we needed and more, we really appreciated the washer and dryer to wash towels and bathing suits after a visit to DeBrett pools. Amazing views out on the lake! Comfortable bed and kitchen, well-stocked with coffee and tea. Would highly recommend for a stay near Taupō!!
