The location was perfect if you don’t want to be in Galway. The view of the bay is pretty and it is quiet and private.

I rated a 9 instead of a 10 because of the bathroom’s moisture, particularly on the floor. They also did not provide washcloths.

Very spacious accommodation with many homely additions. Had everything needed for self-catering. Very private and comfortable.

Shower pressure and recess was a bit disappointing. Showing its age. Nothing else was an issue.

Good host private and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice location and still relatively close to everything. Host provided plenty of local information and some lovely scones. Very pleasant stay and good value for money.

Wir wurden mit frisch gebackenen Scones empfangen und auch mit tollen Tipps und Informationen für Ausflugsziele. Es war alles sehr schön eingerichtet und passte optisch so schön zusammen. Es war schade, dass wir nur zwei Nächte dort waren. Das Apartment lädt auch zum längeren verweilen ein. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Attention to detail with all the comforts of home - beautifully presented and immaculate. Our host could not have been more helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again .

This was a fantastic little apartment with great facilities about 10 kilometres from Galway. Close to amenities and shopping in Oranmore. GERRY was a great host meeting us on the first night and advising places to visit and eat. He also came in to fix the tv. It was so quiet and tranquil and had everything we needed. The bed was exceptional as was the shower. The scones on arrival were a bonus. Thanks Gerry

The apartment was immaculate and presented very well. Very nice location, with the coast just down the road. Very quiet surroundings, we could hear the birds singing rather than traffic noise which was very relaxing. Beautiful area for gentle walks taking in the sea air. Short distance into Oranmore and around 20 minutes In to Galway centre. Facilities overall were outstanding, wish we had booked a longer stay. We struggled to get a taxi on our checkout, Jerry came to the rescue went over and above to get us into town for our train. Fantastic host's and would highly recommend.

The only thing I could say, we don't drive so the distance into Galway and the €30 one way fare in a taxi into Galway centre was quite expensive, two evening trips costing €120.00 wasn't great but that has no reflection on the accommodation as we should have stayed closer to Galway to reduce the travel cost, saying that we happily paid the taxi fare as we loved the atmosphere in Galway's Quay Street.

A lovely warm welcome from Jerry who was waiting for us when we arrived Mary popped her head out also to say hello There was nothing that we needed in the apartment that wasn't there They've thought of everything The warm homemade scones on arrival was a lovely touch Jerry and Mary gave us great information as where to go for food and places of interest Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Jerry was super nice, in sharing some good tips about where to go and what to see, and super helpful in other travel related occasions. We wish we had stayed there for a longer period. Next time probably.

Everything was perfect such a lovely stay ,clean bright apt , lovely hosts so helpful and kind but respected our privacy ,their cat and dog were super cute ,loved every bit of our weekend we will definitely be back soon

The property is right near Oranmore very easy to get to Galway from here and also in a nice secluded location so it is quiet

Jerry was a lovely man, he made scones for us and had a folder of all the main attractions, takeaways, pubs, restaurants, etc. It was one of the best stays. Beautiful apartment, so warm and cozy.

The only negative for us is that it was a bit secluded for us. Shops are a drive away and taxis were pricey.

The road to the property can be flooded by the incoming tide. I wish I had known this before I booked as I would have chosen a different location. The stress of not being able to return to the accommodation on Saturday night after a long day ruined my stay.

Welcoming and comfortable, everything we needed to feel at home and enjoy being so close to the town and Galway City.

Pretty difficult to find. Even the cab driver had to contact the property owner twice to get directions. Also pretty far from Galway. It is located in Oranmore, a 32 euro cost in the cab. It is excellent if you just want to go and stay there, but if you are planning to tour Galway, without a car, it isn't the best choice.

The location was private, easy to find, well organized and well stocked. The place was a whole apartment and so incredibly comfortable. We stayed here on days 8, 9, and 10 of a 12 day trip. We were tired but still had full ambitions days planned. We had stayed at lots of places up tp this point, some great and some just okay, but this was what we needed at exactly the right time. There were homemade scones for us when we got there, jam and butter in the fridge and fresh milk for coffee. The next morning there were fresh eggs from their hens for us in the kitchen which we cooked up in the lovely kitchen. When we got home exhuasted from full days of adventure, we were able to open a bottle of wine and snuggle on the couch and watch some Netflix under a cozy throw. Everything was spotless and smelled so clean. There was so much room to spread out and really settle in, we even asked to stay an extra night! The part I regretfully discovered too late for us, was that they are both musicians that regularly play in Galway and you can ask them to play for you there if you arrange it!!!!! I so would have done that as traditional Irish music mades my heart burst! I was able to call with questions when we were on our drive through Conemarra and he gave us great tips and advice!!! The price is amazing for the value and I'd recommend this place over and over again.

Honestly, it was perfect.

Flat was lovely. Bed very comfortable. Great shower. Internet access was fine. Very quiet spot. Hosts' cat very friendly but not too much. Good basics in kitchen when we arrived including tea, milk, salt, olive oil and a welcome bonus scones and jam. Oranmore area gives easier access to get around the wider area than we would have had from Galway itself. We had a great day trip down the coast road to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and back through the Burren. Weather was fab in late May - really sunny. Finding it was a little tricky at first but soon sorted. If we had stayed longer we would have enjoyed walking in the immediate area. We found all we needed in Oranmore, supermarket, petrol etc.

Not much choice of TV channels. Could not find a tin opener when needed which was surprising as so much else was available. If I had noticed earlier I would have asked. Kitchen could have done with a little more counter-top space for cooking.

We loved the quiet seaside location where you can walk along water, away from the town and easy driving to good restaurants, grocery store and not too far from Galway. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was welcoming and very informative. They also had a lot of maps and travel information for the nearby destinations we planned on going to. I would definitely stay there again and for a longer period of time.

We loved the location just a short distance from Galway and within easy access to Connamara and the cliffs of Moher. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. Jerry was a fantastic host with a wealth of information about the area. Lovely touch with scones, jam, and cream waiting for us on arrival. Would not hesitate to book here again if in the area.

It was hard to find the place.

Immaculately clean, lots of little extras , very comfortable bed, lounge etc. Lots of local information. Hosts were welcoming but not intrusive.

The apartment was lovely, clean and perfect for our stay. The owners were great and very understanding when I had to check in late.

We really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches - fresh scones, milk for tea and coffee, fresh eggs, and many other small extras that made a big difference. Hosts were gracious and provided lots of useful information. Apartment is comfortable and attractive. A very pleasant place to stay.

The house is comfortable, clean and with all the necessary equipment to have a period of comfort, the owner gave us a lift to the city and was very cordial

The house is far away from the nearest town and there is no shops nearby, the access roads are extremely narrow and it is not advisable to walk on them

Jerry was great. We took more time than expected to travel from Dublin and we was waiting for us outside, at 10pm and under a typical irish night... The place itself was absolute love, cozy, bright, modern, with a well equiped small kitchen and all the cookware you may wish. Outside there is a table for spending some time on an elusive warm summer night. Galway is a short drive away, there is a lidl almost around the corner and vibrant oranmore is quite near. In sum: you can't go wrong choosing this place.

it was so compact, yet spacious. As this trip was at Christmas the owners kindly had the premises decorated and left us a Christmas cake. That was very thoughtful.

Personally I’d have loved the opportunity to light the fire, especially for the festive season. However there was plenty of heat with radiators supplied.

The apartment is really nice and located in a quite and wonderful area. The owners are very nice and friendly. Car is necessary if you are interested in moving around Galway and main local attractions.
