Noisy due to a pub just downstairs. It was clean, but there was some stains in the sheets, not nice.

Everything is exceptional. All the basic necessities are available, location is in the centre and access to everything in walking distance, very clean, very helpful staffs and great value for money.

Goede ligging in het centrum. Vlakbij de Meir en aan de andere kant het CS. De kamer was van alles voorzien (keukentje, koffie etc), leuk ingericht en schoon.

Aan drukke weg met trambaan. Als de ramen dicht zijn is dit prima (goed geïsoleerd). In de zomer wat lastig.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The property is centrally located and pet friendly.

The lack of communication with the property manager and the delays in responding to our messages, especially as there is no one personally available to assist us, made us initially suspect that it might be a scam. Fortunately, this was not the case, but the communication could definitely be smoother and more efficient. There are also a few aspects of the room that could be improved, particularly the furnishings, as some of them are quite old and, in some cases, show signs of wear and tear.

Der var lidt beskidt i krogene. Afløbet til håndvask i køkken utæt og vand løb ud på gulvet. Blev fikset næste dag. Men lugtede lidt. Meget stejl og smal trappe op. Larm til sent fra gaden nedenunder, hvor der ligger barer.

The location is fantastic (a short walk from the train station, restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets are nearby). The room is very clean, some breakfast items are provided (e.g. tea, coffee), towels are clean, and the mattress is good.

The stairs are extremely narrow, and one needs to be careful going up or down.

The photos are very misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of the apartment at all. The apartment is old, poorly maintained, and looks completely different from what was advertised. We felt disappointed upon arrival because the listing created completely different expectations. I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

The apartment looked clean, modern, and well maintained in the photos, but the reality was completely different. It was old, poorly maintained, and not as advertised. The bed cover was dirty, the bathroom had a terrible smell, and there was a strong damp odor throughout the apartment. The walls were dirty, and the window did not close properly. To make matters worse, the property management was not helpful at all and rarely responded to our messages. When we arrived, we had to wait outside the apartment for an hour before anyone finally replied, which was very frustrating after a long journey. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. The apartment did not match the listing, and the lack of communication from the management made the experience even worse. I would not recommend staying here.

Het is fantastisch wat ze hebben gedaan met de ruimte. Alle voorzieningen zijn van topkwaliteit, de kleuren en inrichting zijn zeer doordacht afgewerkt. Het appartement zelf, een zolderruimte, was heel stijlvol. Toffe, mooie meubels, kleine maar goed werkende keukeninrichting. Ook de rest van het huis was doordacht, met een smalle trap die zich als een slang langs de diverse condo's slingert, maar met hier en daar een plantenhoekje voorzien en zeer klein rookterrasje met buitenlucht. Een vorige klant merkte op dat er geen schaar was tussen al het keukenmateriaal. Dat klopt! Alle voorzieningen zijn er, behalve dat. Het zou een mooie aanvulling zijn, omdat de meeste gasten ooit wel eens iets van voorverpakte maaltijden zullen willen openknippen. Voor de rest, schitterende locatie, vlakbij het station en het centrum. Zeker de appartementen aan de voorkant hebben een ver uitzicht tot helemaal voorbij het Astridplein. Tof huisje trouwens op het snijpunt van twee straten, dus aangenaam thuiskomen omdat je het al van ver ziet staan. Onderaan cafés en restaurantjes voor elke gelegenheid.

Jammer genoeg is dit weer zo een onpersoonlijke B&B waarbij je nooit een levende mens te zien of te spreken krijgt. Je geld verdwijnt, de sleutel steekt in het lockertje met cijferslot, je stopt die op het einde van je verblijf terug. Welcome to Antwerp. Bovendien duurde het behoorlijk lang nadat ik alles had betaald tot wanneer eindelijk iemand reageerde met de instructies. In de tussentijd leef je dus met het bange vermoeden dat je misschien voor een gesloten deur gaat staan en je geld kwijt bent. Je hebt geen adres, geen duidelijk aanspreekpunt, tenzij een mysterieus telefoonnummer in Pennsylvania. Gelukkig stond in de Booking-contactgegevens ook een Belgisch nummer en van datzelfde nummer had ik een automatisch whatsapp-berichtje gekregen. Telefoneerde je daarnaar, dan kreeg je alleen voice-mail aan de lijn. Goed, op de whatsapp werd uiteindelijk geantwoord, alleen in het Engels. Dat je geen fysieke receptie meer hebt, tot daaraan toe. Maar misschien een centraal kantoor dat verschillende appartementen beheert, iemand die in de buurt is en die kan assisteren, of een klantendienst die wel telefoons opneemt, of snel reageert en meertalig is, dat is toch een minimum dat je kan verwachten als je verschillende kamers aanbiedt aan 100 à 200 euro per nacht. Mag men van de hotelbusiness niet iets meer hospitabiliteit verwachten dan enkel poetsen, zorgen dat de sleutel terug in het lockertje zit en generische berichten sturen in slechts één taal?

Hallway and room had strong smell of stale cigarettes and neighbouring room on the same floor also had occupants constantly smoking within, which filtered into my room.

The bathroom occasionally had a bad smell most likely caused by a return from the sewer air vent, problem which should be easily fixed. The extremely small spiraling staircase is ok for young people but for older guest, it would be dangerous.

De zolderkamer (#4) wordt bij warm weer heel erg heet. Er is geen airco aanwezig, daarom bij hoge temperaturen genoodzaakt om met de ramen open te slapen. Echter, zit deze kamer aan de straatkant boven een bar en om de hoek van een brandweerkazerne die (met warm weer dus) behoorlijk vaak uit moet rukken. Enorm veel geluidsoverlast. Onze tweede nacht was door een iets aangenamere temperatuur en onze eigen voorzorgsmaatregelen qua geluid beter, maar we werden wakker gehouden door muggen. Daar kan de accomodatie niet zo veel aan doen, maar bevorderde de ervaring niet. In de ochtend scheen het licht langs de niet goed sluitende gordijnen, zo het bed op dus neem oordopjes én een slaap masker mee. Het beddengoed was niet echt heel schoon en als je langer bent dan 175 kan je niet onder de douche staan. Tenslotte hebben we uiteraard contact geprobeerd op te nemen met 3(!) nummers van de accommodatie, zonder succes. Hierna heb ik contact gehad met Booking, ook zij kwamen niet in contact met de eigenaren van luxury suits. Dat betreurt me toch het meeste en heeft invloed op mijn algehele ervaring. Op de foto’s lijkt het een stuk luxer en groter, om die reden snap ik de naam “luxury suits” niet echt. Het is geen van beide.

The room itself is really cosy and decorated tastefully in a old Flemish building

The location is awful, it felt like you were sleeping on the street with how noisy it is outside. Set above a bar and pasta take away, it’s located on a corner of a main road. It is very very noisy. We didn’t get much sleep - every car that drove past woke us up. There’s also NO air-con so it’s uncomfortably hot. We booked for 3 people and were placed in a room for one to two people - it was a nightmare stay.

Fijne lokatie midden in de stad en voor ons alles op loopafstand. Je moet wel een beetje fit zijn voor de trap. Je kunt je prima redden, maar voor twee nachten hadden we niet veel nodig van de faciliteiten.

Dat er veel geluid van verkeer, met name trams is. De staat van het appartement was niet heel best en er werd ons pas laat duidelijk waar we onze bagage konden laten na de uitcheckt tijd. Het bed was te klein voor ons. Mijn man is 193. De kamer voelde niet heel schoon en was een beetje gedateerd.

De trap naar boven is smal en stijl. Als je moeilijk te been bent kan dit lastig zijn.

De inrichting is echt met zorg gedaan. Knus en met leuke details. Wij hadden kamer 2, met ramen aan twee kanten - wat de studio heerlijk licht maakt. Centraal gelegen en ja, dus wat stadsrumoer. Maar ook dat heeft wat 😎. Heerlijk bed, frisse lakens. En in de lade in de badkamer zelfs pads en wattenstaafjes. We komen er graag terug!

Het zit boven een shoarma zaak, dat rook je ook binnen. Verder was het vies, vuilniszak. Van de vorige gasten stond er nog, vies putje, handdoek met vlekken, heel veel stof op de lampen, badkamer ruikt muf, vieze badkamerdeur, kruimels lagen nog op de tafel., haren in de badkamer. Wij verwachten geen luxe maar wel dat het schoon is. Dat was het echt niet.

Het comfortabele bed, de badkamer was ook groot genoeg. Keuken was ook goed qua grootte. De hele kamer was goed met mooi uitzicht (kamer 4)

De smalle trappen, het was niet persee heel erg. Maar ik kan geloven dat je er wel voor moet oppassen als je slecht ter been bent.

Pas très propre, le dessus de lit était sale, les ustensiles de cuisines avaient des traces (très mal lavés) les poubelles (salle de bain et cuisines) n étaient pas vidées .. Attention la vitre du vasistas est cassée ( j ai prévenu la propriétaire)

There is enough space in the room. It has everything you need.

There's constant construction around the building. It's very noisy 24/7. Either construction during the day or a bar and convenience store at night. Also, the city tax system is very strange. Include it in the booking price. The link is complete nonsense.

És una habitació super equipada amb cuina, llit còmode, i molt ben decorada. Hem tingut algun incovenient però res que no ens hagin solucionat, tot i no haver tractat amb ningú en persona t'indiquen en tot moment de claus i si hi ha canvis en elles (contrasenya). A més de molt bona ubicació.

Qua hygiëne viel het enorm tegen. Bestoft, een vieze badmat en er hing een stuk tomaat aan het bedframe, de keuken rook heel muf en nodige niet uit om te gebruiken.

Gehorig, er waren werkzaamheden aan de straat precies voor de accommodatie. Trappen omhoog, erg stijl en dus lastig met koffers en kleine kinderen of oudere mensen. Trapleuning kapot of los hier en daar. Matige hygiëne, in de entree en op de trap lagen allemaal dingen, koffiecups, lege toiletrol etc. Ook in de kamer kon het schoner, veel kruimels op de vloer, in de magnetron en kleine haartjes op de lakens. Desondanks plezier gehad.

The only positive aspect of this apartment is its location, as it is close to the train station and within walking distance of the historic city center.

Everything else was a very frustrating and stressful experience. A few days before check-in, we were asked to pay the city tax through an external link, which is highly unprofessional. Payments should be handled through the Booking.com platform or in person, not via random links. Despite paying the city tax more than 24 hours before arrival, we received two different PIN codes — one via Booking and another via SMS — differing by only one digit. This created unnecessary confusion and prevented us from entering the apartment. When we contacted the host and provided clear evidence of the issue, including screenshots, they completely ignored what we sent and repeatedly insisted that we had not paid the city tax. Even after sending proof of payment, we received the same automated-style responses along with another payment link, essentially asking us to pay again. This back-and-forth wasted a significant amount of our time. We were told the issue would be escalated to a manager, but no one ever contacted us In the end, we solved the problem ourselves by noticing the different PIN in the Booking message. Meanwhile, the tutorial links provided by the host did not work at all. Upon entering, the situation did not improve. The apartment was not properly cleaned — there was mold on the faucets, stains on the bedding, and visible marks on the doors. No one followed up to check whether we had managed to enter or if everything was in order. Overall, this stay caused completely unnecessary stress and reflects very poor management and communication. I would strongly advise avoiding this property.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, en pleno centro de Amberes, y la habitación era amplia y bien decorada.

La comunicación nefasta solo te responde un chat I.A en su WhatsApp. Lo que sufrimos con el ruido fue inaceptable. Había obras pesadas justo al lado que empezaban a primera hora de la mañana, haciendo imposible el descanso. Entiendo que el hotel no controla las obras externas, pero no se nos informó de esta situación al reservar ni se nos ofreció ninguna compensación o alternativa real ante el ruido constante que sufrimos durante toda la estancia.

The location is central, close to the train station. The host let us stay 2 hours additional after the check out.

We paid for the city tax and were not receiving the code for the key box, had to contact Booking customer service. There was construction on the road and the isolation is very bad so it was very loud. The room is small and outdated, and the bathroom door isnt a real door just a sliding one not covering the full door opening. The staircase is very narrow and hard to use with luggage.

A very nice, cozy studio. Great location, and the owner was very helpful and kind. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Antwerp. I highly recommend renting here.
