Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Location is fantastic -- it's basically the border between Baixia and Alto, right on a major pedestrian shopping street. High-quality windows meant it wasn't noisy, and the elevator was surprisingly quick (if you've stayed in small to medium-sized apartments/hotels with hydraulic elevators you probably know what I mean by that). All of the major sights I was in town to see were nearby.
The hentry allway motion-detecting lights could have been a bit more sensitive, but honestly I'm kind of reaching to find a negative, and you'd have to be pretty picky to care much about that.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2026Fabuleux loft de charme, extrêmement bien équipé et situé, confort au top, poésie sur les murs, en plein sous l'arche historique de la vieille ville on se sent privilégié d'y rester. Hôte très gentil qui a fourni les indications exactes pour l'accès en toute autonomie. Climatisation impeccable. Belle surprise!
Rien à voir avec l'hôtel mais il faut savoir que le stationnement de la ville le plus proche n'accepte pas les cartes de paiement international, ce qui cause bien des complications. On doit marcher quelques minutes pour accéder à l'hôtel si on arrive en voiture.

El pero que le pongo es que no sale el agua muy caliente de la ducha, así que se pasa un poco de frío y eso que estuvimos en verano.

Reviewed Apr 30, 2026Appartamento bellissimo, curato nei dettagli, pulito. Letto comodissimo. Posizione ottima, in pieno centro. Il parcheggio a pagamento è davvero vicino e facile da raggiungere. La strada dove si trova l'appartamento è pedonale ma dalle 8.00 pm alle 10.00 am è possibile il transito per il carico e scarico dei bagagli. Molto chiare le indicazioni per l'accesso e la localizzazione dell'appartamento.
La cucina non ha i fornelli e non è indicato nell'annuncio. È però fornita di forno a microonde, che ci ha comunque permesso di cucinare qualcosa per la nostra bimba.

We could lean out the windows and look down on students performing Portuguese folk music. There were many cafes within one minute walk.

Shops, restaurants, bars etc. are all within walking distance, including the river and historical buildings and squares. Apartment was very clean and bright and had everything you needed for a city visit. Host was very helpful and gave local recommendations.

Apenas uma pequena sugestão de deixar produtos novos( na embalagem) como a esponja de lavar louça. E também, as amenidades de toilette (shampoo, sabonete e condicionador) poderiam ser novas. O sabonete para lavar as mãos estava aguado e quase no fim.

Place was clean, spacious, bright, modern & comfortable. Host was excellent - very responsive and helpful with information through WhatsApp. (email via booking.com seemed less reliable). Would definitely choose to stay again.
Minor- shower floor abit slippery & water leakage to bathroom floor hard to avoid. An extra bathmat would be great.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025We were very impressed with the location and the standard of the apartment. We would recommend this unit to anyone interested in staying in Porto, we loved it!! The host Gonzalo was in constant touch with us and helped us to locate the property and to gain entrance.
We feel that when promoting the site it should be mentioned that it is NOT accessible by car and warn people that although it is a privileged position it is not easy to locate or access, a minor detail but we found it hard to find using Google maps and had to ask for help. Luckily Gonzalo was on hand to answer our questions and to guide us into the property

Reviewed Aug 26, 2025El piso era moderno, espacioso y muy cómodo. Su situación fue inmejorable, en pleno arco de Almedina. A pesar de que no tenía cocina como tal tenía un fregadero, micoondas, freidora de aire, cafetera, hervidor de agua y menaje. El anfitrión contactó con nosotros el día antes para comprobar que sabíamos llegar. Fue muy amable, las llaves las recogimos en una cajita con clave junto a la puerta.
El baño era algo incómodo. La ducha era muy resbaladiza y cedía ante el peso al entrar, y el inodoro era flotante y al sentarte sentías que cedía un poco. El lavabo era pequeño y era fácil salpicar fuera. Aún así pudimos usar todo sin problema.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2025La ubicación es excelente, esta dentro del centro histórico y anexo a la muralla. todo esta muy cerca y puedes ir caminando a todas las atracciones.
La cocina es muy pequeña y más parece un elemento decorativo, para estancias muy cortas esta bien pero si vas a quedarte varios días y pretendes hacer un par de comidas no es muy funcional.

It was too close to some restaurants/bars. Noise until past 11pm. Sofa bed couldn't accomodate my 9 and 7 year old, far too small.

What we didn't expect was nothing to do with the room, but the amplfied rock music which wne ton til late in the next courtyard. I am surprised the city suthroities allow something so ruining of the beautiful surroundings. It ewas very disturbing

Reviewed Jul 7, 2025We are Denise & Peter (Ottawa, Canada) If you see the name Lance, it is because we booked through a travel agent . The apt. is arguably in the best location in Coimbra. This is our 6th time in Coimbra in the past 4 years. (we prefer Santa Clara, but that is across the river. (matter of choice) In other words...it is in the perfect spot. Windows on two sides to see the street below. FANTASTIC
Good thing we only booked 4 days. This apt does not have a cook top. Never have seen this in all of the places we have stayed in, in Portugal. The owner was pleasant, but was obviously in a rush. We noticed the lack of a cook top and when we mentioned it: he told us of the many places to eat close by. If we wanted to eat out for all our meals....we would stay in a hotel.

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable, tastefully furnished with all necessary facilities. The views from every side of the apartment are lovely. We felt so nice here, that we regretted our initial decision to stay 2 nights. The host is friendly and approachable, communication was pleasant and smooth.
Bathroom sink could be improved.

The internet was low. No stove in the kitchen, but for us it was not a problem, because there are a lot of restaurants nearby.
