Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt. Die Kommunikation mit David und seinem Vater Hallgier war fantastisch. Durch die persönliche Schlüsselübergabe bei checkin und checkout bekommt man noch mehr das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Die Ausstattung warum rundum hervorragend. uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Der Empfang war trotz der späten Anreise sehr herzlich und freundlich, so dass wir uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt haben. Am traumhaft schönen Aurlandsfjord gelegen, haben uns besonders die Aussicht auf den Fjord, die wunderbare Terrasse, die gepflegte Umgebung, die Ruhe und die geschmackvolle und hochwertige Ausstattung sehr gut gefallen. Das Ferienapartment selbst hat großzügige Räume, eine für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt ausgestattete Küche, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer und ein großes Bad mit Waschmaschine und Trockner, so dass wir immer frische Wanderbekleidung hatten. Über die Tipps für Wanderungen haben wir uns sehr gefreut und diese auch genutzt. Top: Die Wanderung durch das Aurlandsdalen! Unbezahlbar: Den Tag mit einem leckeren Kaffee auf der Terrasse beginnen zu lassen und am Abend von dort den Sonnenuntergang bewundern zu können. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind im Nachbarort vorhanden und auch die touristischen Highlights der Region sind schnell erreicht. Vom Hustle und Buzzle bemerkt man aber nichts. Der Kontakt mit dem Team von Otnes Fjordside hat immer reibungslos geklappt und wir fühlten uns rundum gut betreut. Wir haben keine Informationen vermisst, und alle Fragen, die wir hatten, wurden schnell beantwortet. Dies war eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir in unseren fünf Norwegenurlauben bisher hatten und wir würden hier auf jeden Fall sehr gerne noch einmal zurückkehren. Vielen Dank an alle, die uns diesen Aufenthalt so schön gemacht haben. 👍😀

Sehr schöne geräumige Unterkunft. Es fehlte an nichts (außer Sonnenschein :-)) Eine sehr moderne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung in der es an nichts fehlt. Würde es 11 Punkte geben, dann würden wir diese vergeben. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter die auch bei Fragen bereitstehen. Wir haben uns in der FeWo sehr wohl gefühlt.

Het appartement is ziet er heel netjes uit en is goed voorzien. Alles zeer schoon. Ook fijn dat er allerlei spullen al beschikbaar zijn, zoals koffie, peper/zout, keukenfolie's e.d. De host is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hadden goed weer en dan is het fijn dat je goed buiten kan zitten, met iets van uitzicht op het fjord.

The place was very clean and cosy and had everything we wanted and more, such as a bbq, a terrace, washer and dryer ect…. Felt like home. Aurlandsfangen is a gem at the fjords. Walking, kayak, biking, restaurants, …. All is possible here. But the best of the stay was David our host: warm, personal and friendly, trying hard to give us the best vacation possible. A warm thanks to you !

Wszystko było super. Na wyposażeniu jest wszystko co potrzebne, pralka + suszarka robi robotę jak jesteś z dziećmi - mozesz zabrać mniej walizek z rzeczami i nie przejmować się jak dzieci z trekkingu wrócą w błocie. Netflix + Spotify też się przydaje. Czysto, super kontakt z wynajmujący, 3 min samochodem do dużego sklepu Spar czynnego 7 dni w tygodniu + do dobrej piekarni/cukierni obok. Do Flam i na drogę śnieżną rzut kamieniem. Wygodne łóżka, cisza i spokój + widoki na fjord i wodospady.

Location right on the fjord. The apartment was spotless, large and very well equipped. Sitting on the patio looking at the waterfalls on the other side of the fjord was amazing. The host was fantastic. An amazing location for seeing Aurland, Flam and the surrounding areas. Absolutely amazing stay!

Stunning location! Perfect retreat from our active days out in the area. Very easy to get to where we needed and the hosts were extra kind to help us get to/from the train station. The apartment was very large and had everything we needed

Cannot rate this stay highly enough! The house is beautiful, the view is spectacular and the hosts could not be more kind or helpful. We stayed as a family of 4, and there was plenty of space plus some to spare. Beds are comfortable, the bathroom and shower are a dream, every amenity you could want is available, and it's a short walk to town for supplies, food, or a hike up the mountain. Flåm is a quick 10-minute drive, bus, or ferry away. If you plan on spending more than a night in Flåm, don't... go to Aurland instead and enjoy a luxurious experience in style.

Peaceful and beautiful location away from the insane crowds and tourist traps in Flam. View of the fjord through the trees. The apartment is the ground level of a two story house and is very spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated. Everything was new and worked well, including a washing and dryer. The kitchen is generously equipped and has pantry basics such as spices, oil, coffee, tea. The host's father met us to bring the keys and show us the rental. He was a lovely man and gave us some great tips on where to hike (Prest!) and to consider taking the longer, but stunning scenic Aurland Tourist Route instead of the 23km dark tunnel through the mountain as we continued our visit in the area. We really enjoyed chatting with him, and had many questions about the history and current lifestyle of the area, which he was more than happy to tell us about.

Unfortunately the upstairs guests were (unknowingly?) noisy, their foot steps and furniture dragging above our bed area. Perhaps a thick area rug can be installed in whatever is directly above the downstairs unit. We enjoyed the complimentary use of the bicycles and helmets and rode into Flam, a great alternative on a cloudy day that was not ideal for hiking. The owners do warn you to use the bikes at your own risk, so unless you are experienced riding alongside speeding traffic, it is not a safe ride. Because the key is handed to you, we couldn't quite estimate what time we would arrive from Bergen, but everything worked out fine as the owners live within 15 minutes.

Well kitted out. Easy to find. Quiet. Easy and friendly check in and out Comfortable bed! Great washer and dryer! The view was lovely. The village was lovely. Would love to come back here!

Spectacular views and fantastic location overlooking the fjord . Great base for hiking and a short walk from the local bakery and supermarket. Apartment was clean and cosy, with v comfortable beds and well equipped. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful.

It was perfect for us

The ground floor apartment was clean, had lots of appliances, and was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. There was a great view of the fjord, clear down to Flam.

The flat is great: large, beautifully decorated and homely. The view into the fjords is amazing, a waterfall right on your sight line from the couch! Kitchen is well equipped, we cooked at home. The bathroom is large and comfortable, washing machine and dryer are a great bonus traveling with a baby! We also used the bikes, they are good, too. The flat is situated a bit outside of Aurland but the walk into the town is short. We did some hikes without getting into the car at all.

The house was bigger than expected, superbly clean, and extremely well equipped kitchen. The supplies were all new and modern. It was an extremely comfortable stay with our 2 year old. Having meals on the deck and admiring the waterfall and view was a daily highlight. Host was extremely friendly and helpful, provided a guide book of things to know and even had a guide on nearby hikes. Highly recommend this property

We went in the off season and on a holiday weekend so most things in town and methods of transportation were slim.

The apartment is stunning Extremely clean, equipped with everything you can think of. Simply heaven I would rate her not 10 but 20

We are Booking customers for years. Otnes Fjordside is by far one of the BEST appartments we have rented. It's big, it's soooo clean, it has all the facilities you need and it's well isolated. The contact with the host goes very smoothly and he is willing to assist with any question you might have. Excellent parking facilities as well. This doesn't deserve a 10/10 but a 15/10 !

The location, the views, the exceptional accommodation and facilites, the quality appliances. 👌 The pictures dont do any justice to the place and to the views. The host even picked us up from Flam and even dropped us back at Aurland Pier!

For me I found the bed a bit too soft but my wife disagrees so that’s just personal preference. We had a hire car and if you stay here that is needed.
