ราคาที่พักแพงเกินไปไม่สมราคา กับวิว และห้องพักก็เล็กมาก จนไม่มีที่จะวางกระเป๋า ระเบียงด้านนอก ก็เล็กๆ ไม่ได้ติดทะเลสาบ เหมือนในรูปที่โชว์ เพราะมีพื้นที่สาธารณะ มาสร้างเป็นลานกว้างๆ สร้างอยู่บนทะเลสาบ ทำให้บังวิว จากในห้อง และไม่เป็นส่วนตัว เพราะมีนักท่องเที่ยว มาเดินถ่ายภาพวิว ตลอดเวลา

Kühlschrank im Schlafzimmer sehr laut… etwas überteuert im Vergleich anderen Unterkünfte auf unserer Rundreise durch Norwegen. Wenn auch der Ort einzigartig ist.

We booked a cabin with a fjord view. The cabin itself was nice and cozy, with a little attic where the kids slept. It wasn't anything fancy inside, until you stepped out onto the balcony and realized you were inside a fjord, taking in the most incredible view a hotel can offer. It made the stay worth every penny. Also, breakfast was great, and the local gastropub (actually the only dining option within walking distance) was really tasty.

There was a big difference between the rooms types.

It was extremely expensive.

The hotel is in a very nice old wooden building with lots of atmosphere. It also offers a beautifully furnished lounge (with free coffee and tea). The hotel is centrally located in Aurland and most rooms offer very nice fjord-views. It is close to the Flam-train terminal (10 min. by car) as well as the cruise ship terminal. Lots of hiking options. There is a bistro-type restaurant.

The rooms are very small and offer almost no storage space. The breakfast buffet is acceptable at best. Friendliness of the staff could also see some improvement. We expected a bit more value for the price, but it is probably a matter of scarcity of alternatives.

The location near the fjord was the best part of the stay.

It was ok for one night, but the single room is towards the front of the hotel so you hear everyone in the hallway and going up the stairs. It was charming in style, and also very basic with an older, sagging mattress.

Very comfortable with fantastic location and quaint decorations.

Although it stated that there are 2 bedrooms it is not suitable for 4 adults. The stairs to second bedroom is scary and you have to crawl into it and cannot stand upright.

For the location & nostalgic atmosphere a 9/10.

For the claustrofobic (bath)room and price/quality a 3/10. So combined I rate this hotel a 6/10.

Nydelig beliggenhet i Aurland, og selve stedet er sjarmerende og godt tatt vare på. Historiske bygninger med god atmosfære, og hyggelig å bo midt i bygda med kort vei til alt. Fin base for en overnatting i Sognefjord-området.

Prisnivået. Maten var typisk turistmat til høy pris – grei nok, men ikke det du forventer når du betaler så mye. Stedet ligger godt an til å ta godt betalt av gjennomgangsturister, og det merkes både på rom- og restaurantpris.

Could not have found a better location! Google maps brought us right here and as we looked around, we saw a sign for reception near one door to the main building. Our cottage was right on the water in the Fjord and there's was a SPAR Grocery store within view of the front of the property. Very nice staff who explained everything upon our arrival and gave us a warm welcome when we came to breakfast. The food was plentiful and with great variety. My only regret was not being able to stay longer as we traveled across the country!

Emplacement idéal au bord de l’eau, avec petite terrasse. Chalet propre et bien équipé. Literie confortable. Parking privé inclus. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Ambiance un peu froide, pourrait être plus cosy. Prix très élevé (comme tous les logements à Flåm et Aurland).

Wonderfully quaint and charming. Feels old school and almost like a home stay. A nice collection of houses that make up the property. Loved the living room with antiques and the wallpapers in the property were fantastic.

Bathrooms were a bit small. Basic breakfast, but appropriate for the location. Bit hard to get to with public transport, but guess that’s part of the charm.

Just the transport from flam to aurland. It's only 10 mins approx but buses not very frequent for it still a busy enough time of year.

Breakfast was great!! Lots of choices. Restaurant for dinner also worked out well for 2 of our dinners.

Hotel charmant, personnel très souriant et professionnel. Lieu très accessible par bus depuis Flam avec une proximité parfaite pour croisière fjord ou point de vue Stegastein.

Full view of the fjords. Newly refurbished Junior Suite. Fully equipped toilet facilities including fresh bathrobes and slippers. Fridge. Very accessible to restaurants, grocery, bakery and shuttle going to Flam. Within 5 min walk to floating sauna (need to pay separately).

It would have been better to have other selection of coffee pods in the room.

Location, staff, onsite pub and restaurant were great, close to grocery. Right on the water. Airplane is a welcoming distance away from the over crowding of Flam. Hotel was nice and quiet! Shower was great

Exceptionally beautiful location - right on the water with a balcony overlooking the fjord. The room was great for our family - the kids enjoyed the loft beds. The breakfast was great.

An absolute fabulous view of the Fjord, great location. Lovely fisherman's hut, perfect for a small family.

Wir hatten eine Hütte gemietet, die sehr geräumig war, mit einem Balkon zum Fjord. Die Aussicht war spektakulär.

We loved it from the very first step we took on the property. The building itself is very old but extremely well-maintained, the historical value is depicted in every detail either it’s the original wooden floors or the furniture designed to correspond the overall picture. There are lots of photos of people who used to live and work in the area, really interesting to explore everything around. The views are breathtaking, the breakfast is great, not a huge variety but decent and high-quality products. There are not many dining options in the village, but the GastroPub has everything you might want to eat and everything is soooo delicious! We had the deer stew twice 😁

Piccola pecca, per fare colazione occorre spostarsi in una struttura adiacente ma sono davvero pochi metri ( no problem se non piove :-))

There wasn’t anything we didn’t dislike

Todo hermoso. A 10 minutos de Flam. A 15 minutos del mirados Stegastein. La decoración de la habitación. Lo céntrico. Está a la orilla del fiordo. Vistas espectaculares. Desayuno bufete muy bueno. Café todo el tiempo disponible para cuando gustes. Silencio y lo hermoso de Aurlandsvangen.

Todo estuvo muy bien.

Ontbijt was prima met een zeer enthousiaste host. Locatie direct aan het fjord is perfect. Ook de historie van het pand en de inrichting maakt het extra bijzonder.

Close to the fjord and gastro pub.

Decor with black toilet, black faux leather headboard and black metal geometric nightstands and crystal chandelier seemed so off with a cabin feel. There was no bath mat so used a hand towel with water from shower. Also, no refrigerator.

Der Herd hat nicht funktioniert.

Otelin binası, kahvaltı salonunun olduğu bina hepsi çok güzeldi. İlk önce deniz kenarındaki self servisi kabinlerde kalacaktık. Temmuza erteleyince aynı oda kalmamıştı. Arkadaki binada kaldık. Asansör yoktu ama odamız güzeldi. Gece 11 de otele giriş yaptık. Ortalıkta kimse yoktu. Resepsiyonda Adıma yazılmış kapalı bir zarfın içine anahtar ve gerekli bilgiler bırakılmıştı. Otelin resepsiyonun olduğu bölüm ve kahvaltı servisinin yapıldığı salon çok güzeldi. Kahvaltısı güzeldi.
