Road noise due to location and older sash windows.

Great location

Took us a while to actually find the front door.

The apartment was spacious and warm. Comfortable bedroom. Kitchen well equipped and we had Netflix !

Unclear instructions led to us having no hot water on second day. Resolved after contacting owner but why was the hot water not on a timer like most places. Bathroom taps loose.

Comfortable clean

Windows are difficult to open. A lot of noise from traffic outside also dog barking across the road in someone' s garden no private parrking ecxept on street we were afraid our car would be damaged Some damp smell also in the property

Location was perfect easy to find

Musky smell when coming upstairs but we got over it while in the apartment but definitely noticed when coming through front door.

The location was convenient and easy to access, and collecting the keys on arrival was straightforward. The apartment itself was spacious and suited our needs in terms of layout.

There was a strong sewage-like odour throughout the apartment, particularly in the kitchen, which persisted despite airing the space. There were also multiple visible cracks around the walls and windows that gave the impression of structural movement, and at one point a bottle placed on the floor rolled on its own, suggesting the floor may not have been level. We later became aware the building had recently been impacted by an incident that had not been disclosed prior to our stay. We raised this with the host after our stay, but the response focused on reassurance rather than addressing the lack of prior communication. In our view, the apartment was not in a suitable condition to be rented without clear prior disclosure.

Doskonała baza do eksplorowania okolicy. 15 minut autem i jest się nad oceanem w Kilkee.Bardzo blisko domu markety.Miasteczko bardzo klimatyczne z kolorowymi domami są Puby.Około godziny jazdy z lotniska w Shannon.Nie ma problemu z parkowaniem jest bezpłatne.

Great location in Kilrush

A bit expensive for off peak in rural town but local cafes etc lovely

Been to Kilrush many times, This apartment has plenty of room, A two minnutes walk to the shops & pubs, Supermarket two minnutes away & easy parking😊

Wish i stayed a few more nights!!!

Stayed here before for a week as my Father in a local Nursing Home. As before it was a great stay. Parking across the road, easy access with key code, short flight of carpeted stairs which helps clean shoes as rest of Apartment has no carpets but laminate flooring tiles which was recently washed ready for us. Fresh, Clean and well stocked Apartment. Everything you could want for cooking, eating, washing clothes. Saucepans, fridge cooker and cupboards very clean. Few Tea, coffee items tidily left by other guests. As were some cleaning items in cupboard under the sink. Felt instantly comfortable. Shower is good and washing machine/dryer good and also very clean internally. A TV in every room is a bonus. The Bedrooms are fresh and clean. The larger has a built in wardrobe and the most beautifully carved wooden bed...the single a lovely old wooden wardrobe. User friendly radiators and air con. The Owner although we never met in person which is the only reason I cant give a top mark. He was always prompt with responses and clear with instructions and friendly. It is clear a lot of thought and planning and care was put into the Apartment. We had a problem working out the hot water and he helped us straight away via FaceTime so he could show us which button to press. He also invited us to a music event. Last time I visited I commented about a lack of a mirror in a Guest room and this time it was there on the back of the door which was really helpful. My father loved his visits there during the day and kept commenting on how nice the Apartment was. I would book this again if my Father is still able to manage the stairs.

Minor things...none of the windows can open which is probably safer as they are old sash windows...the blinds which are used in the lounge area need changing. 2 open as meant to the other 2 are broken and its weird sitting in there with no blind down at night or having to risk breaking them more by trying to manually pull them down and roll them up. Time consuming and lets the place down a little as rest of it is user friendly. The tap in the sink in the bathroom needs tightening. Massively minor details in an otherwise lovely Apartment.

Loighrea lodge was fantastic. Brilliant location with Aldi across the road. Apartment is cosy, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Really enjoyed our stay here and couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you Michael. A super Apartment. Great value for money

Great location. Lovely spacious apartment with all essentials available. Very comfortable beds. Round the corner from Aldi and 2 to 3 minutes walk to town centre. Easy to locate with Eircode. Really enjoyed our stay.

Has lots cooking equipment, Toaster and Frying pan, saucepans, mugs, plates, cutlery, glasses all good condition...but air conductor above cooker...couldnt find how to turn it on or didnt work...so cooking fish and other smells linger. Shower great, my father loved the floors and lightness, and the set up of the Apartment. TV's in both bedrooms and huge one in sitting room. Does have Wifi. Location was practical as round the corner to the shops and next to Aldi, parking opposite on the road. Plenty of clean bedding and towels in cupboards, beds comfortable. Recommend Coffey's Fish and chips in town, and the Alcohol shop almost next door is an Aladdins cave. The Health Food Shop stocks loads of great alternative products and staff knowledgeable. Even though we didnt see the owner he was available on the phone and very nice.

Blinds dont work, Hairdryer doesn't work and no mirrors other than the one in the bathroom where there is no 3 pin plug in point. taps in bathroom are loose, only one bin bag provided but plenty of cloths. We found necessary items in various cupboards so look about before you buy anything. No instructions for working out heating/air con and place was very cold when we arrived.

It had everything we needed! Very thoughtful host. We loved the whole flat. It was really handy having a washer/dryer. Would definitely return there. Perfect location.

Could have done with a mirror in each bedroom, to make doing hair easier. We had trouble finding property, even the people who lived on the same road hadn’t heard of it. I would suggest better directions.

A very spacious apartment with a kitchenette equipped with everything you need for everyday use. Very comfortable mattress. The facility is located close to the supermarket.

Kitchen area needs to replace the ceiling bulbs with new ones because only two of the six work. A little dark in the evening. Kitchen hood needs to be replaced. The rest was great.

Very central location with shops and restaurants/pubs being in a 2-5 min walk. TV in each room. Air fryer and all the regular kitchen utensils are available. Aldi is literally a 2 minute walk.

Location is a blessing and a curse at the same time. It is very central, but due to that there is always a lot of traffic and as such pretty loud. Sleeping is a challenge.
