Vielleicht müsste mal etwas renoviert werden. Aber für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise passt Buggles Pub sehr gut.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026We really enjoyed our recent stay and would highly recomend Buggle's B&B! Carmel is a great host and it is in a good location in the centre of the town. The bed was so comfortable and there is a discount card for breakfast in a local cafe as well. Would also recommend staying a Friday night if you can - there is a trad session in the pub downstairs which is brilliant craic!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Very good location, easy to reach and close to restaurants. Free parking all around. Big rooms with plenty of space, comfy beds. Literally upstairs from the local pub. Happened to be there during a music festival, and there was live music in the pub (but the rooms were still quiet). Definitely recommend the experience!

Équipements limités dans la chambre : pas de café, ni d'eau à boire.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026Buggle's was exactly what we needed. Location was perfect. Carmel is a lovely lady. Very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My partner left his jumper behind and Carmel posted this back to us which I am grateful for.
Not Carmel fault but the weather was too hot. I spent more time in the shower. Carmel provided us with a small fan as the b&b has no Aircon. Carmel directed us to a pub for something to eat on our first night which had stopped serving when we got there. Ended up at the chippy (which filled a gap but wasn't that nice) The cafe Bowman's Lane offer a discount for b&b guests and it was delicious. Carmel told us the bar of the b&b would be open Wednesday night so we could watch the football and sadly it wasn't and we ended up in a pub with quite a hostile uncomfortable environment. The TV at Buggle's didn't work so we had to stay at the Haven Arms. Carmel was contacting the engineer as she was unaware about the Tv and it seemed none worked in the building.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2025The accommodation is joined to an old pub. It is extremely charming. The room was comfortable and centrally located near all the downtown amenities. Our host Carmel was incredible. She was extremely friendly and had excellent recommendations. Loop Head was a great spot to stop on the way to Doolin. Would stay again!

Reviewed May 11, 2025The room is welcoming and exactly what you would expect in an historical pub. It is clean and comfortable. The optional cooked breakfast is outstanding. The owner, Carmel, is fun and full of character, anecdotes and local knowledge.
Some shelving in the bathroom for toiletries would be great.

It was great to be able to come back and enjoy a couple of pints downstairs, before going up to bed, while still having peace and quiet up in our room. The location is excellent and the rooms are lovely.
