Reviewed Sep 18, 2026The apartments were a short walk from the train station and adjacent to the main shopping areas.
BEWARE-The Butterfly Apartment photos shown are not of the unit you might get. This is NOT the same quality or service as the hotel.The entry to the apartments is deep in a dirty service alley full of garbage, old TVs, and working vehicles. The “sofa bed” in the living room is actually two single “chair beds” - not a double as shown and cannot be joined in the middle - you’re getting two small twin beds. When open the beds touch the kitchenette cabinet so you can’t walk through safely from bedroom to bathroom. The bathroom is small, cramped with low end fittings - not as promised.The door to the single bedroom was broken and would not latch closed, a chair had to be put up against it to have privacy. The sink in the kitchenette made a loud bubbling, clicking, drain noise all times of day and night disrupting the sleep. The decor was completely gone - plain and marked up old furniture with stains when folded out, dingy white walls, no rugs, no comfort or beauty, nothing. The narrow balcony overlooks a loud, dirty service alley with heavy construction on the left - that made noise from 630 am, to an industrial garbage compactor on the right - that made noise until 1030 pm. The balcony is unsafe and not secure for single or female travelers - it is SHARED with other guests in the neighboring room(s) who also have doors onto it. You have other pguests walking down and standing in front of your own door anytime of day or night. You cannot open yours curtains, sit outside or open your doors or windows without privacy, noise or risk. The door latch to the bedroom was broken. The single bedroom (if you get one) was decent though with same shared balcony, noise, service alleys and broken door latch. When these issues were brought up Management was rude and completely unhelpful. He ultimately only gave us an unsafe and unreasonable choice: they had no alternatives and he (demanded) that we leave that night if we didn’t like it.

Reviewed Sep 16, 2026beste Lage, unweit vom Bahnhof aber in einer Seitenstraße. Tolles Frühstücks Buffet im Hotel. Das Appartement klein aber fein, gut ausgestattet.
Eingang allerdings im Hinterhof eines Elektroladens der dort seinen Elektroschrott gelagert hat. Kein Zimmerservice, aber ist ja auch Appartement.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026The location is perfect!!! Only 3-5 mins away from the train station and is definitely walkable. Our reservation includes breakfast. It was simple but very yummy. We have a kitchen in our apartment, and it makes our life very easy in Zermatt! They provide 9 CHF laundry service: wash, dry, and detergent included. All you need to do is bring your laundry to the front desk, pay the money, and the staff will show you where the laundry room is. We checked the laundry service in the town, which is 14CHF wash and another 12 CHF for the dryer. The hotel has a sauna, a billiard table (paid) massages, and luggage storage service. We had a wonderful time staying here, and will definatelly come back again!!

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026駅やスーパーに近くて立地は最高でした。 ホテルでの朝食も品数が豊富で美味しく、ご飯もありました。 設備はキッチンが小さく、電子レンジが無いのが残念でしたが、自炊はできました。 冷蔵庫はアイスクリームも保管できる冷凍庫もあって便利でした。 食器は手洗いですが、スポンジや洗剤はあります。 ゴミ捨て場も聞けば教えてもらえてゴミ袋ももらえます。 ベッドやアメニティは多分ホテルと同じだと思うので、快適に眠れました。 8泊しましたが、清掃は無く、タオルは1人2組が最初にセットされていたので、交換はしなかったです。
アパートの建物の玄関の鍵が無く、誰でも入って来れるのが少し気になりました。

バルコニー付の部屋にしましたが、見えるのは他のホテルや近くの店舗の裏口なので「眺めは期待できない」と明記してあると良かったです。 キッチンの換気扇がダクトにつながっていないため、料理をしたら煙を感知して警報がなりました。 FANを回すと棚の中に煙が充満し室外に排気できません。驚きました。

We were there for 5 days and our room was not serviced once. Even the bins were overflowing when we left, because we did not know where to drop off the garbage.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2026Apartments Butterfly Zermatt is located within easy walking distance from the main train station and all local facilities. Check in was at the Hotel Butterfly just a few metres from the apartments and staff were very pleased to explain all apartment features and amenities. The apartment was well appointed, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was available daily in the Hotel Butterfly with a good range of freshly prepared tasty hot food and cold buffet items. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and contributed to an exceptional stay in Zermatt!
Nothing could have been done better! All aspects of Apartments Butterfly Zermatt were of a very high standard. Staff were always very attentive and willing to help guests.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Die Lage ist wirklich super, quasi direkt am Bahnhof. Das Frühstück beinhaltet alles was das Herz begehrt.
Leider war es garnicht sauber! Wir hatten Haare von unseren Vorgängern im Bett, in der Dusche und überall auf dem Boden. Zudem waren die Kissen wirklich schlecht (kaum Füllung) was das Schlafen ungemütlich gemacht hat. Zu guter letzt, der Balkon geht wie bei den anderen Bewertungen nach hinten raus und man guckt auf Müllpressen etc. - aber darauf waren wir Dank der anderen Bewertungen schon eingestellt und haben uns daran nicht groß gestört. Alles in allem finde ich den Preis unverschämt für die Leistung, aber dazu muss man wohl sagen "willkommen in der Schweiz"

Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (Töpfe, Pfannen) mit Kapselmaschine. 2 Sätze Handtücher (da während der Woche nicht getauscht wurde) Die Bilder entsprechen dem Appartment in Realität Das Frühstück war super, frische Produkte, guter Kaffee reichlich Auswahl. Abholung und Transport vom taxiplatz gut organisiert.
3 Punkte die ich verbessern würde: In einem Appartment war keine Garderobe und keine Handtuchheizung im Bad vorhanden. Das ist beim Skifahren doch praktisch, um seine Sachen trocknen zu können. Der Skiraum könnte mal aufgeräumt werden

Das Appartement wurde während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Leider stand weder Staubsauger, Besen, Putzlappen oder sonst etwas für eine selbst durchgeführte Reinigung zur Verfügung. Wir sind mit Hund angemeldet angereist und hätten gerne zwischendurch zumindest mit einem Besen gereinigt.

Aynı zamanda kasabanın iki kayak bölgesi olan Sunnega ve Gornergrat istasyonlarına da çok yakın. 3-4 ve 5. bölgelerin istasyonları olan Matterhorn Glacier Paradise için ücretsiz hizmet veren otobüslerin durağı da yine çok yakındaki tren istasyonun önünde.
İzolasyon sorunu var; yan odalardan biraz fazla ses alıyor ve ısı kaybı yaşanıyor .

Wir waren im Appartment 12 im Erdgeschoss eines Nebengebäudes vom Hotel untergebracht. Die Zuwegung war nicht sehr ansprechend, da man sich den Weg/Hof mit einem Hinterausgang (sehr unaufgeräumt) eines Geschäftes teilte. Der Balkon sah auch nicht sehr einladend aus.(war uns egal, da wir eh nur zum Schlafen und Frühstücken da waren. Das Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können. (es gab immer den gleichen Aufschnitt und Käse) Die Auswahl war groß und jeder konnte satt werden wenn man auf Abwechslung keinen wert legt.

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Eine tolle Unterkunft, sehr nahe beim Bahnhof. Für mich bot das ansprechend eingerichtete Studio des Hotels Butterfly die perfekte Kombination aus Selbstversorgung und von Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels profitieren zu können.
Die Aussicht in den Hinterhof fand ich jetzt nicht so schön - dies störte mich jedoch überhaupt nicht. Mir war die Aussicht nicht wichtig. Von daher habe ich nichts zu beanstanden.
