The place was really cold, the aircon is a bit too high up so it doesn't heat the place properly. We did get extra blankets from the host though

The location was good and close to Hout Bay attractions and the beach.

The apartment was still in the process of being cleaned at 13.40 when check in was at 14.00. Hosts could have ensured that all the facilities were in working order much as stove hairdryer, DSTV and towels available for guests. Having to contact the hosts several times was a frustration. Hopefully, the hosts will ensure that the place is well equipped for future guests.

Wir wurden nicht sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Vermieterin hatte keine Zeit für uns. Die Räumlichkeiten wurden uns nicht vorgestellt. Es war Schimmel unter der Decke im Bad. Die Bettwäsche war verschließen. Sparsame Erstausstattung, nur 1 Rolle Toilettenpapier für 2 Zimmer (3 Personen). In Kleiderschrank roch es feucht.

The location was excellent.

The quietness and tranquility, as well as the close proximity to the beach.

The beds (mattresses) were in really bad shape and the bathroom walls were full of black mold at the top sections, which triggered allergies for us.

Alles was oke, maar weet dat de prive-studio een smal en kort bed heeft ( ook voor gemiddeld lange mensen) en de douche in de kamer staat. PS je hebt een code nodig om het terrein op te komen

L emplacement est superbe . Des serviettes de bain disponibles. La réactivité du propriétaire quand le frigo est tombé en panne ainsi que la chasse d eau.

Pas de fenêtre dans une chambre. Les lits sont petits. Problème d aération car l appartement a été optimisé avec la création de murs tres fins n allant pas jusqu’au plafond. Aucune intimité pour un appartement de 4 personnes. Difficile de manger à 4 dans l espace intérieur prévu. .

Trevlig lägenhet, bra läge, nära till det mesta. Bra pool. Bra parkering.Träbänkarna på uteplatsen, kanske inte de bästa. Men, det går bra att köpa egna strandstolar. Bra att ha vid poolen också eftersom det saknas stolar där. Vi rekommenderar detta boende.

Everything was just working , location to shops and beach . And whenever I had to ask something the hosts were extremely quick at responding

Perfect location

Location is good.

It was very dirty. I have pictures. Owner was there when we arrived, said cleaning lady didn't clean windows, but she will come clean it if we wanted. We said yes. Lady came to clean windows but it was still dirty. Hair everywhere!! In beds,on floor,in bathroom. Dirty toilet with poop on seat. Not like in pictures. No blind for privacy in living area and rubbish outside on wall. Dining chairs was DIRTY. Couch and walls very dirty. Was just not nice. She said sorry,there was people staying there for a long time but if you want to run a business like this,it needs to be clean. Cleaning lady asked me what I want her to clean,I told her everything and to make it smell nice,came back,it was a bit better,but still not clean. I am very understanding and have travelled a lot, but this was the dirtiest place I've seen. Bathroom door wont close properly . Asked her how the safe works and have still not had heard anything about that as I had my German friend with me and she wanted to lock away her passport. Also got a flea on me and she said there is a field nearby, I know fleas can get inside, as I stay on a farm,but picked it up in bed. When we spend money,we at least want a clean place. Furniture looks old and very used. Parking also not infront and have to carry your luggage. Also,had to phone for keys,no prior arrangements for that. 👎 I know this sounds like allot of complaints,but it's the way it was. I have always used Bookings.com for accommodation everywhere we book, I'll definitely start reading reviews from now on 😅

There was no fan but it did have air conditioning in the lounge area.

Walking distance from the ocean. Shops close by, easy access to main roads.

Very little communication from the hosts. Had to call to enter the property when we arrived and still had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish cleaning, because we arrived at 13:30. Parking was a distance away from the unit and traveling with an elderly lady this made it difficult. The unit, although very well furnished, was very tiny.

The ventilation in the unit is terrible there are no windows and the only way to get fresh air in is to leave the sliding door open which is a risk at night.

The tap that didn't work in the bathroom. The door handle was broken and the sliding door was very hard to open.

Close to beach and not in the town itself

Very tiny. And they parking was a walk away. Traveling with an elderly lady made this uncomfortable. We also had a cat visit the unit a few times and two of us are higher allergic to cats

De bedden en de douche

Hygiëne: Haren in het bed, schimmel in de badkamer, vieze vingers aan de slaapkamerdeur, een slipje in de rand van de stoel. Vloer en eettafel waren niet schoon. De koelkast: had een vriezer zonder deurtje, zodat alle producten bevroren. Bovendien was hij niet in te stellen: wij wilden hem graag lager zetten maar dat ging niet. De koelkast was te klein voor een appartement met 4 personen. De aan-uit schakelaar zat achter de koelkast en stond uit. Dit hebben we bij toeval gevonden. De kookplaat: het rechterdeel kon niet laag gezet worden. Aan of uit. De keuken: heel erg klein. De badkamerkraan zat los, we hebben hen zelf met tape vastgezet. De schuifpui kon heel moeilijk open, we hebben hem zelf geolied en toen werkte het beter. De voordeur kon van binnenuit wel op slot maar niet meer open. We moesten buitenom om hem weer te ontsluiten. De gate één grote ergernis. Geen enkele keer deed de afstandsbediening het en er werd niet opgenomen op bellen. Ook de security hielp ons niet. We moesten alle keren wachten op vertrekkende medebewoners om erin te kunnen. Een wasrekje ontbrak. We hebben geen host gezien: ze heeft 1x gebeld om te klagen dat onze auto voor de uitgang van de buurman stond. Daarbij verontschuldigde zij zich dat ze er niet was bij onze aankomst. Maar verder hebben we geen kontakt gehad. Geen aanrader.

Very modern and neat apartment with beautiful Mountain View.

The white cupboard in the room doesn’t go with the rest of the decor. The whole place is so modern and beautiful and the white cupboard just brings down the whole look of the stunning room! This is just our opinion but we did enjoy the stay very much

Night time noise of the air condition. Kept me awake as I am a sensitive sleeper. Besides this good.

Very good location! Walking distance to shops. Hosts were very accommodating.

Parking is not at the unit and there are huge rocks you need to look out for. One of the windows did not have a blind/curtain, therefore you cannot block out all the light. The couch seat is very deep and scatter cushions will make a huge difference to support your back. A small amout of dishwashing soap would have come in handy for washing cups & glasses we used.

the only part was that for 4 people they gave us 1 toilet paper roll. but as its self catering i went to the shops and bought more for my family.
