Enniskillen Watersedge Apartments

Very spacious, two bed, two bathrooms, one with shower, other with bath, light & airy with some nice views. Could be a whole lot better if someone put some thought & care into cleaning & dressing it & then might be worth the money they charge for it.

Was contacted by agent requesting a security deposit which goes against booking policy & then refused to answer questions about property until received this, later stating we would be sent details rather than talking to us there & then. Initially booked into flat 22, but then moved to 18 last minute due to ‘maintenance issues’. Arrived at property to find there was public parking for the blocks rather than allocated parking as described, as well as steps down to the front door not mentioned. Front door was unlocked & open, so little security for the property & lock box with apartment key also unlocked. Upon entering property we found what could at best described as a bachelor pad rather than a ‘luxury apartment’, with bare minimum furniture & amenities that were tired & worn. The sofas were cracked & sagging & the television barely struggling to produce mainstream channels, with no lighting other than the main spots - so you’d be more comfortable in a GP waiting room. Limited equipment in the kitchen, no wooden spoons so pans heavily scratched, but barely anything to cook with anyway. Whilst there was a washing machine, they don’t provide even a dab of washing powder, but even if they did there’s no facilities for drying your clothes anyway. The flat was not the cleanest with mould in the bathrooms & stains on the carpets, with an array of bugs throughout (spiders, moths, crane flies & even a cricket or two!) I’m not surprised they use stock photos to advertise this place, so here’s some showing the reality of what you get!

Location near to Enniskillen, walking distance. So handy for our next day plan and near to Stairway to Heaven.

The layout of apartment and the amazing views easy access to get into town. If possilble two bedrooms could have had double beds in them.

The sinks everytime you filled them with water it drained out. The beds could be more comfotable . It would have been bettee for a double bed in the ensuite toom than two single beds put together as you cuddle in with your spouse you feel the ridge of the other single .i had to get eqipment from your maintence staff so we could clean.a suggestion thick mats to step out on from shower. I did'nt like that there was no recycling for swan house but was for the other apartments.

Couch a little small

I didn’t find the bed comfortable, but that’s a very personal issue related to a back injury. There were a couple of minor issues but staff responded quickly to rectify them.

Absolutely rusty utensils in the kitchen and not enough of them either. One of the very few places that I stayed which didn't offer a pasta strainer. Only three pans in the kitchen for a family of five and two of them were totally rusted and in unusable condition. I wish they take care of it.

Heating - I'd Aussie relatives who were cold and once we figured out that the radiators had been turned off, all was well. 😊 The tin opener didn't work (left it out on bench) so we didn't get our custard dessert 🤣 but we're being nit picky.... I would DEFO book again, thanks so much!! Would have liked a table and chairs to sit outside on the patio and enjoy a summers evening.

Great size apartment relatively clean

Could do with a bit of updating window blown in main bedroom. Was told no hairdryer but was one in drawer. The iron is useless doesn’t get hot and steam function doesn’t work. Needs new ironing board cover. Found a Christmas card from 2023 ! Found in the back of the drawer in bedroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned out in 3 years. Didn’t receive the check in details had to ring and ask them to send once we arrived.

The property is central and spacious with lovley veiws, however

The beds are awful! Paper thin mattresses that give way under any amount of weight and are.like basically sleeping on the base. Springs in sofa were broken making it uncomfortable to use over half of it. The outside area was dirty, un cared for.and covered in weeds, there is also nowhere to sit on the large patio to enjoy the veiws.. the bedrooms were very dusty and we found rubbish left from previous guests in 1 bedroom invludinf sweet wrappers, crumbs and crisps. The doors are so loud no matter how gentle you try to be and really poorly sound insulated throughout the while building. Staff did do their best to help with the mattress situation and had mattress toppers brought over for our second night, unfortunately with little affect but we appreciated the effort at least. Also, although there is disabled access. Do not book if u have mobility issues or are ambient disabled as the disabled access is a fairly long distance to use the ramp as posted to very steep and slippy steps. Also be warned they ask for a £200 security deposit to be held on a card until house keeping are "happy" with how u left the apartment. Unfortunate as the apartments r spacious and well finished with lovley bathrooms and kitchens and staff were kind and helpful.

Spacious quiet aparttments within walking distance of the town with its host of attractions & amenities. Nice llake view.

A lovely location, although the view we were expecting was disappointing. Perhaps if the garden was cut back more we would have been able to see more.

The apartment was not clean at all. No mattress protectors on 3 of the 5 beds, the kitchen cupboards were sticky with grease, the bathrooms were dirty and the toilet was disgusting. We had no hangers for any of the 3 wardrobes. There was a tissue behind a bedroom bedside table and the dust down the side of the single bed was apalling. I would not say it’s very wheelchair friendly, there is a long walk with a ramp to the front door and my elderly mother struggled to walk from the car to the door, once we were in the apartment it was fine, but it was too far away from car to door. To top it off, we had a terrible night of rowdy men staying above us, using our balcony below as an ashtray/bin and causing us to feel intimidated. 3 of the 5 beds need replacing as we’re very uncomfortable and old. I was in constant contact with reception staff and they had their head house maid come visit us every morning and she made everything so much better, 5* to her. She needs a pay rise! We were given a beautiful meal at the hot to make up for the bad experience which helped, but I would not stay here again.

Location 15 min leisurely walk into town. Spacious, clean and tidy. Obtaining travel cot and high chair no problem at all. Would not hesitate to book again!

Kitchen facilities are good but no frying pan for an Irish Fry! No Tea towels and only 3 coat hangers for whole appartment. Would also be good to have option of early checkin when arriving early am into Belfast or Dublin.

Location and pets allowed

Bit dusty, could do with some outdoor furniture. There was a great enclosed patio area where our dog could run around but no seats or table that we could sit and enjoy weather and view.

Well appointed apartment suitable for group, family or couple, plenty of parking on site and within walking distance of the town for all amenities.

The space in the apartment was brilliant. The cleanliness was above and beyond. The beds were super comfy. Because we travelled with a pet it was so safe and we had no worries about the safety of our little dog. It was peaceful and quiet.

Nothing. We loved everything about this apartment BUT!!!!!. The WiFi was really bad!!!!! We listen to music quite a lot with Alexa but the WiFi kept dropping out. Even trying to play a few games on an iPad was almost impossible. Really needs upgraded ????

What I liked was that everything is close by—the city centre, parks, and other amenities. It's convenient to walk everywhere, so a car isn't necessary.

What I didn't like was that you charge an extra £20 for a pet, supposedly for additional cleaning. 🤦 You should clean the cobwebs and spiders from the corners of the walls, as well as the dust and other dirt, before charging extra for cleaning. The mattress was also too firm.

Immaculate and stunning. Floor to near-ceiling window in the living area gives a breathtaking view of the natural beauty outside and the marvellous lough. Luxurious, stylish modern apartment. Loved the spacious open- plan living/kitchen/dining area. Comfortable beds and the softest pillows I've ever rested my head on! Slept well. Fully equipped kitchen. Excellent shower. Having an elevator in the building is a great bonus. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Staff are great and accommodating. Would recommend.

Sounds trivial, but no tea-bags supplied. Plenty of coffee, just no tea. May have been an oversight. Otherwise, nicely supplied, including washing capsules for the machines.

Very spacious and clean, enough room to be able to enjoy your own space but then spend time with fiends in the communal areas. Less than an easy miles walk into the town; convenient for the evenings entertainment.

The kitchen was a little short on equipment for self catering; blunt bread knife, lack of spatula for frying etc and the complimentary tea bags/coffee were sparse.

Was like a home from home! And just a 10min walk to the towns bars & restaurants! The apartments had everything you needed for a comfortable stay! The sensory was exceptional, especially when the sun's out!! We will 100% be back again! Thanks for a lovely stay!!

There was no door stoppers (I know it's for fire safety) but would help as doors slammed loudly

The location was great, just on the edge of the town so it wasnt noisy and there was ample parking! The apartment was very spacious, clean and has basic necessities. It was also great to have a pet friendly option which is rare! Considering this, the apartment was in great condition! The staff were also very prompt with answering any queries.

While there were the necessities, there was no floor brush to tidy up and with having a pet with us, we wanted to keep the place clean. The only other issue was that there was no floor mat at the inside of the patio door and the tiles were quite slippy, especially as it was raining during out stay.

Could do with a bit of an update as some of the furniture is quite worn and carpets were stained. No teaspoons and a lot of cobwebs especially around the patio doors.

Black marks on living room walls which was reported to reception staff. Hair elastic (with hair attached) found on arm of settee. No cushions on settee making area look very sparse. Carpet lifting badly at en suite door, posing a trip hazard.

Noisy!

The Apartment was lovely and clean, a lovely fresh smell as soon as you came through the door, the floor tiles were gleaming everywhere was immaculate the best Apartments we have stayed in. The staff at Westville Hotel were very helpful and arranged that we got ground floor apartment which suits us best, this was very much appreciated. It was lovely looking out across the balcony to see the lake, a truly wonderful place. The rooms were very spacious and lovely soft towels to use in the ensuite bedroom and the same in the bathroom,the kitchen had everything we needed, truly a wonderful place.We look forward to going back again and we have recommended the apartments to friends, we had a truly wonderful time.

Comprehensive instructions on how to collect keys were provided in advance. We had a penthouse apartment and it is a huge space, 3 large comfortable bedrooms and a large kitchen, dining / living space. The apartment is warm and comfortable.

The showers have very low pressure which varies. There was a unusual smell in one of the bedrooms, a fuel type smell when we arrived but it faded throughout our stay.
