Reviewed Sep 12, 2026It was interesting historically. Large well decorated rooms. Centrally located next to main NG church and weekly market. Comes with a large tv with dstv, proper fridge and air on/heating. Secure parking. Newly renovated and clean.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026Chantal was honestly a breath of fresh air. She is the perfect person to welcome you for your stay. Everything was exceptionally clean and Chantal takes pride in her work. I asked for some extra ice, and she brought it within 2 minutes. Apart from a lovely, well-located place to put down your head....Chantal stood out! Hopefully we will be back in the near future. Thank you!

Reviewed May 26, 2026Much larger and more well-equipped than I imagined. The heater and electric blankets were turned on for my nighttime arrival, which was a great touch. Convenient and safe location with friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Reviewed May 13, 2026Locatie ligt zeer centraal gelegen waardoor je zo in Franschhoek staat. Alles op loopafstand. Appartement is ruim en netjes ingericht.
Het was even zoeken waar we moesten zijn maar met de uitleg van de medewerkers is het heel duidelijk hoe je moet rijden.

Reviewed May 5, 2026フランシュフックの教会の敷地内にあるという、独特なロケーション。伝統的な古い建物に泊まれると思うと、ここを選ぶ価値があるかなと。 設備も整ってます。ガスコンロ、湯沸かし器、コーヒー、牛乳など。 案内してくれた女性が朗らかで良かったです。 私の伝え方が悪かったのか、ベッドがセパレート式だったのに掛け布団が一枚のタイプでした。 スタッフが状況を察して、すぐに掛け布団をシングル×2枚用意してくれました。
古い建物だからか、排水が悪いです。シャワーを長時間浴びるとシャワー室、トイレがビチョビチョです。その日は寒かったので、足が濡れないようにするのが苦労しました。 駐車場から部屋までは芝生なので、スーツケースよりはボストンバックの方がいいかも。30mぐらいですけどね。 事前に、夜は寒くなるよと言われてましたが、帰宅したら部屋が冷え切ってました。エアコンをつけっぱなしで出かけることをお勧めします。

Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Die Einfahrt zum Grundstück war zwar etwas versteckt neben der Kirche, aber wenn man es gefunden hatte, war es einfach ;o))). Sehr nettes Anwesen mit Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Grundstück, sicher. Alle Geschäfte und die Franschhoek Vine Tram in Gehweite. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und in unser Appartement geführt, das aus Wohnbereich mit gut ausgestatteter Kitchenette und einem großen Schlafzimmer sowie einem Bad mit Dusche bestand. Betten waren sehr bequem, alles tip-top und sehr sauber. Technische Einrichtung und WLAN gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Le Manse nur empfehlen.

The fact that i could not braai. The excuse was the wind in the area. On the day the sun was shining and no wind. I asked before we came if i can braai and Marlene said we can see how the wind is (there were no wind) and that they might provide us with a portable braai. I only had 2 steaks and sausage to braai and i was going to use charcoal and not an open fire. So the alternative was to use the Oven Air Fryer to prepare our food only to see that the air fryer is still dirty. There was also an open bottle of juice left in the fridge when we got there which was not ours. The website is misleading if one cannot braai on the premises.

De kitchenette was erg klein, de koelkast ruim genoeg. De badkamer had geen licht boven de wastafel en je moest douchen in het bad.

There was nothing not to like or to complain about everything was perfect. The only thing I would ask is if you could get a rubber mat to put in the bath at the shower to avoid the slippery in the bath

Reviewed Nov 17, 2025We had such a wonderful stay at Le Manse! The apartment was so spacious with a large comfortable bed, it exceeded our expectations and the location was perfect. The owners were super lovely and hospitable and their dog Cappy is a delight! This property is location directly next to the Saturday market that is on at the church with a gate opening into the market area, it's also very central in the town, and I can highly recommend if you're visiting Franschhoek.
