A localização era ótima, pertinho da estação do wine tram. Adoramos o quarto, e o café da manhã também foi ótimo.

We were upgraded to a suite which had a fantastic view deck and luxury bath - excellent king size extra length comfortable bed. As an airbnb owner myself, I was impressed by all the attention to detail and cleanliness, well done!

In centre of town, you can walk to all restaurants and shops…!!

No Family Room…

There was a buffet of fruit, muesli, yogurt, tartlets, croissants and fruit juice. You could order coffee/tea with your continental breakfast. Really good. The location was excellent and everything was within walking distance to explore the town. The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable.

All that was missing was an electrical socket close to a mirror for when you want to blow-dry your hair.

Beautiful and comfortable stay. Lovely staff, accommodation has everything you need. We got engaged here, just a walk away from everything especially the Tram Train.

Friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful setting. The lovely receptionist went above and beyond to help us. The fire in the dining room during breakfast was welcome and the breakfast itself was delicious.

La struttura è situata in centro paese e dispone di un comodo parcheggio. A piedi si possono raggiungere i ristoranti e la via dei negozi. La struttura è pulitissima, la nostra stanza era confortevole con un ampio e comodo bagno dotato di tutto l'occorrente, anche di un termo arredo per asciugare i teli da bagno e per riscaldare l'ambiente. Nella stanza c'erano anche il clima e il frigorifero. Abbiamo trovato l'arredamento molto piacevole. La colazione buonissima, cibo squisito. Viene servita colazione continentale composta da yogurt, frutta, granola, marmellate, burro, croissant, formaggio, prosciutto, succhi, tè, caffè e come colazione calda le varianti della inglese. Il personale è caloroso e molto accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Ci ritornerei di sicuro e lo consiglio senza nessun dubbio.

Abbiamo sentito un leggero odore di umidità appena entrati in stanza, ma grazie alle finestre del bagno e al clima tutto è rientrato dopo pochi minuti.

Lo staff è veramente molto cordiale, la posizione è top e colazione buona.

La struttura è un po' datata, ha molti spifferi, quindi il freddo si sente. Il maggior problema però è la pulizia. Coperte e asciugamani macchiati. Polvere generale.

La posizione è ottima per passeggiare in centro e per raggiungere qualsiasi ristorante. Lo staff è gentilissimo!

The host was lovely! The location was perfect and the breakfast was good

The hotel is in an excellent location, very convenient for exploring the area. The property is pleasant and well maintained, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, kind and helpful. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

The only negative aspect we noticed was the temperature in the common areas. It was quite cold, particularly during breakfast, which made the experience less comfortable than it could have been. Improving the heating in these areas would make the stay much more enjoyable.

Huge room, beautiful bathroom with heated floor. Lovely breakfast space with great selection at breakfast. Lots of quality blankets to keep us warm and a great coffee station.

We loved the old charm of the place and the beautful flowers on the verandah.

It was excellent value for money in winter. We booked last minute, and so had a room facing the road. There was a bit of noise, which was expected for that room, but it was not too disruptive. Could be more noise when the town is more active in spring/summer. Can't get a better location. The hotel is old/historic so has a bit of a dated feeling in certain areas. Staff is excellent. Did not do it, but looks like they have a fun wine blending activity at the hotel.

It was perfect for what we wanted (value for money) and great location, but it does feel a bit dated here and there. Breakfast was nice but not exceptional. Nothing else to dislike, though only stayed one night, so can't judge servicig of the room.

Right on Road so cars can be noisy from 6am and there is one window in the room that cannot be closed. But it’s fine if you’re an early riser.

The location to our restaurant was amazing, just around the corner! They made a lovely flower presentation for us on arrival as I had requested for a special occasion.

Only small things: we couldn’t find the other electric blanket plug as it was between the mattress due to the distance from the plug, maybe a short extension cord will fix that.

You sleep bascially on the street. Sittitng outside is almost not possible, even a hobo was steeling our cigartes from the table.

The breakfast was devine!

Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, room location was convenient. We loved the double basins and the large shower and shower head was perfect. We loved the fridge and the little coffee machine. We loved the bed being made up everyday and that the staff left fresh towels for us. The heated bed blanket was a bonus and we loved the quiet and efficient airconditioning.

The light in the room especially the lounge was a bit weak. The second basin tap was loose and leaking onto the floor. Not having a latch inside the door to double lock when we are inside. One staff member unlocked our room door without knowing we were inside :)

The hotel has a Victorian feel to it. The decor is very era apparent. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and keen to assist. The breakfast was delicious.

Small hotel at the centre of the town. Old time feeling. Safe car parking. Breakfast was excellent - a la carte for warm selection otherwise buffet. Friendly and smiley young staff.

The property was immaculate, perfectly positioned and excellent in every regard. We were well taken care of, food and facilities were excellent and being able to walk to nearby restaurants and places was a big bonus!

The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, there were a big variety and everything was very good. Very good coffee as well! It was nice to have an aircon in the room

The bed was a bit hard

Firstly the location is perfect as it is close to main road , restuarants and shops. Secondly the service for the two hosts was excellent and very professional. Finally the breakfast was fantastic.

Location was great, close to center of town. Heated towel rail. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee machine in the room a bonus.

Some maintenance needed on TV bracket, it was about to rip out the wall. Pavement / garden outside of hotel entrance needs some care. Door to room got stuck a few times. Carpet in the room very slippery & dangerous. Green shade cloth on one of the outside gates needs to go! A lick of paint here and there won't hurt. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

The staff were fantastic and made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. They made our stay very comfortable. Room was lovely and clean. Beds were super comfortable. Fantastic hot, powerful shower and bonus of a nice big bath. Breakfast was a really nice choice - eggs were perfectly cooked to every order really nicely presented. The hotel is in a fantastic position walking distance to the wine tram and really good restaurants and bars in the evening. We felt very safe and really well looked after. We didn’t want to leave!

The breakfast was fantastic, the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and cozy. Everything made for a wonderful stay.

A brilliant stay at Hotel du Vin. Exceptionally clean and neat. Super close proximity to town (so be prepared to listen to some town traffic go past). Delicious breakfast with so many options. It was delightful to have an electric blanket in the bed in winter.

Hospitable and welcoming staff. Leana was so amazing and helpful. Clean rooms with perfect interior design. A short drive away from Franschhoek Wine Tram terminal. Good food options nearby.
