It’s a big comfortable apartment in a grate location with a stove and an oven and even a coffee machine it’s a great apartment for a family the stuff is really nice and helpful they helped us in every way we needed

The maintenance of the apartment is to be desired the shower have folded our room we needed to put a towel to prevent the water to flow in to our bedroom there is a karaoke bar next door and it makes noise until late at night

It's extremely close to the beach, which is exactly what we were looking for. And the staff was very accommodating. We actually booked twice, once at the beginning of our vacation and once at the end because we enjoyed it so much.

The stone pavers between the back house and the beach are a bit painful to walk on barefoot, but with shoes it's fine.

The only thing that we were disappointed about was that we didn’t stay more than one night. You are steps from Beau Vallon beach which is where you want to be, especially if it’s a first time visiting Mahé. Great swimming, boating, sunsets, restaurants (we really enjoyed Boat House and Beach Shak). We choose the Mountain view apartment and loved seeing the lush green hillside - quintessential Seychelles. If we are back in Mahé, we would most likely try to book here again and for longer!

Accueil organisé à l'avance par messagerie. Parking public à proximité (toujours de la place). Dans un batiment moderne et très bien décoré, beau logement récent bien équipé, confortable à proximité immédiate de la plage. Même sans vue sur la mer le balcon est agréable avec un rideau d'ombrage bien utile par forte chaleur. Les bains de soleil à disposition sont bien pratiques pour profiter de la plage ainsi que la douche extérieure pour retirer le sable. Beaucoup de restaurants et de commerce à proximité. La cuisine est bien équipée et la salle de bain spacieuse. Literie confortable et clim dans la chambre silencieuse (ventilateur dans le séjour). Top!

Le paiement est réalisé par l'hôtel ce qui signifie qu'il a des commissions de paiement à l'étranger même si ce dernier est effectué en euro.

Der Empfang war sehr nett, wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Wir sind früher angereist als geplant, konnten unser Zimmer dennoch direkt beziehen. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation, perfekte Lage an wunderschönem Strand und leckeren Food- & Souvenir Ständen.

There seemed to be an unnecessary emphasis in pre-arrival emails, and in the information booklet within the property about additional excess charges, e.g. emails seeking a substantial excess for access to the accommodation 2hrs prior to the quoted check in time. Strongly worded messages in the information booklet within the property regarding significant excess cleaning fees if the kitchen wasn't tidy, or there was sand on the floor. etc. Maybe it was a language thing, but it didn't come across as very welcoming. We only stayed for 2 nights and didn't use the dishwasher. However, if you wanted a tab for the dishwasher, there was an additional charge for that. The accommodation is not cheap, and it would have seemed far more welcoming to provide a couple of dishwasher tabs for guests. We arrived early, before the quoted check in time, and were happy to wait for the room to be ready. We said we would go for a walk along the beach etc. However, when we asked for the internet password, so that we could check messages, let people know we had arrived safely etc, we were told we would get only get access to the internet once we were in our room. This seemed rather petty and unhelpful. It would have cost nothing for us to be provided with the internet password prior to getting into the room. Overall a good stay, in lovely accommodation, right on a beautiful beach ....but a few small factors that made it slightly less welcoming than it could have been.

Great and clean apartment with perfect location to the beach and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen and apartment for what we need. There were private sunbeds on the beach for use. The staff was nice and helpful. We were able to store our luggage and use the area until we left. The staff helped with booking taxi, and we didn't experience that the price was higher if we booked through them. This place can really be recommended

Fabulous location right on the beach and close to small shops and beach restaurants Great staff. Northing was too much trouble and Sharanza was really very helpful from pre arrival to post departure. Our apartment was large and airy and comfortable.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and bright, making it a pleasant place to be. The bedroom has a comfortable bed and closets for storage, it also has blackout curtain. The bathroom has a large shower and a spacious sink. There was no water supply interruptions. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils for cooking, including an easy-to-use stove, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee machine (which we didn't use because we don't drink coffee). The living room has a TV (which we didn't watch) and a comfortable sofa and armchair. There's a balcony offering a magnificent mountain view, where you can relax at the table and dry your clothes on the drying rack. Most importantly, there's no insects, which are common in hotels in tropical countries. Location is perfect: a few steps away from the beach, restaurants are very close, and supermarkets are 5-10 min by foot. The hotel has its own sun beds and beach towels. The path to the beach lies through a beautiful inner garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has no elevator, so it can be hard with luggage. But since it’s just once you have to bring your luggage up and down, it’s not a big problem. Moreover, a guy working there helped us bring down our luggage. If you have a stroller, you can keep it downstairs.

Superb location on Beau Vallon beach, with a private garden area and only a few steps away fom the beach. The apartment was spacious with a large open plan living area that was beautifully accessorised to give a feeling of individuality, but the real winner was the patio doors onto a covered terrace area with comfortable (& stylish) patio furniture with a lovely view of the garden and the sea through the bushes. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well-equipped with a coffee machine and even a teapot for my morning cuppa. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows - we slept very well. Beach towles were also provided. The apartment was regularly cleaned. Vicky the host and owner was extremely welcoming and with all the staff. could not have been more helpful and accommodating.We loved our stay there and were very sad to leave, though no doubt would happily return in the future. I would highly recommend this apartment. Beau Vallon is a beautiful beach with bars and restaurants, but it is not over developed.

It was a struggle to get hot water at times, but this did not impact on our stay.

Good location.

Our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. When we checked in, we noticed that there was a cheaper room available and politely asked if we could switch to it. Even though it was empty, the host refused without any flexibility or willingness to accommodate our request. During our stay, we were concerned about cleanliness. One night, we saw a cockroach in the common areas, which was very unpleasant and made us uncomfortable. Later, when we asked the host if she could help us book a taxi, she told us to go across the street to other apartments and ask them to arrange it instead. We found this response dismissive and unhelpful. Finally, on checkout day, we asked if we could leave our luggage for just one hour since we had a later departure. There was clearly plenty of space, but the host refused. Overall, the host was unfriendly and unaccommodating, and the lack of flexibility and cleanliness made our stay quite unpleasant. We would not recommend this place.

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet – direkt am Strand. Unser Apartment (#206) war schön und modern eingerichtet. Der Balkon ist ebenfalls stilvoll gestaltet mit Lounge, Tisch, Aussenlicht und Steckdosen. Von dort hat man eine gute Aussicht auf den gepflegten Innenhof, der schön bepflanzt ist. Der Pool ist schön anzusehen, und abends ist der Innenhof dezent beleuchtet. Es gibt sehr viele Steckdosen, was wir als praktisch empfand. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es eine Klimaanlage, zusätzlich gibt es Deckenventilatoren im Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und auf dem Balkon. Die elektrische Sonnenstore ist modern und praktisch – auch wenn sie unten ist, kann man noch gut nach draussen sehen. Das Apartment war sauber. Sables d’Or Luxury Apartments stellt Surfbretter, Kajaks, Sandspielsachen für Kinder und Liegestühle zur Verfügung. Die Liegen sind bequem und in gutem Zustand. Sie befinden sich in einem privaten, umzäunten Bereich direkt am Strand mit Picknicktisch – ausschliesslich für Gäste. Im Innenhof gibt es eine Süsswasserdusche, die genutzt werden kann, wenn man vom Strand zurückkommt. Bei Anliegen kann man das Apartment per WhatsApp kontaktieren, und es wird rasch reagiert. Das Bett wurde nach zwei Nächten gemacht, und die Tücher wurden ersetzt. Strandtücher stehen zur Verfügung. Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war sehr gut, und meistens war genügend warmes Wasser vorhanden. Es gab genug Ablagefläche im Badezimmer. WLAN war schnell genug zum Arbeiten und Streamen. Die Wohnung war sehr ruhig – man hörte weder Nachbarn noch Geräusche von draussen.

Gepäck kann nicht gelagert werden. Ein early Check-in wird erst am Tag vor der Anreise bestätigt und kostet im Normalfall extra – das ist auf den Seychellen jedoch üblich. Ab etwa 22.00 Uhr gab es nur noch heisses Wasser, was vermutlich mit den Wasserrestriktionen der Regierung zusammenhängt. Es werden drei Schlüssel und ein Garagentor-Öffner abgegeben – einer fürs Zimmer und je einer für die beiden Aussentore. Hier wäre es praktischer, wenn man nur einen Schlüssel bräuchte. Beim Check-in hätten wir uns etwas mehr Informationen gewünscht, z. B. zur Reinigung oder zum Kaltwasser. Es gab kein Shampoo, nur Duschgel. Uns fehlten zudem Haushaltspapier und Kosmetiktücher. Im Kühlschrank stand eine Flasche abgefülltes Wasser bereit, wir hätten bottled water zu schätzen gewusst. Die Regendusche funktionierte nicht. Es steht eine Gemeinschaftswaschmaschine zur Verfügung. Ein Wäscheständer im Apartment wäre wünschenswert – es gibt nur ein Holzgestell mit Platz für zwei Tücher. Der Deckenventilator auf dem Balkon quietscht und sollte geölt werden. Ausserdem gibt es keinen Aufzug. Die Koffer müssen die Treppe hinaufgetragen werden, was etwas mühsam ist, insbesondere bei schwerem Gepäck.

Ms. Vicky and her staff are incredible people!! Greatly appreciate the conversations!! If looking to just hang at the beach, the location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic! I could not be more happy with its proximity to the sea and to the shops, restaurants, and other services in the local area. Additionally, I truly enjoyed and appreciated the apartment size and the amenities included within the apartment. I absolutely appreciated the kindness of all employees, and having dedicated beach access and loungers available to all clients was greatly cherished! Lastly, a recommendation to all new clients: since the majority of the outbound/departure flights seem to be late in the day, if no availability for a late check-out, I recommend reserving a premium lounge at the airport in advance of your departure - this will allow you to shower, eat, and rest due to the early, 1000 a.m. check-out.

Minor dislikes that DO NOT distract from the overall lovely stay of my family: Check-out could've been a few hours later, even for a fee. I also would've appreciated knowing in advance that the apartment cleaning services end early on Saturday (which caused my apartment not to be serviced and linens not changed while my family slept in; should not have to wake-up early while on vacation in order to meet the service timelines). Also, please ensure linens [bath, bed, and (especially) beach towels] are serviced every three days as mentioned during check-in.

Very close to the beach and you can get a sunbed for free. Apartment was new and looked nice. The view from the balcony was spectacular.

Too expensive for the service we received, it was very inconvenient, we should have rather booked a hotel which was not so much more expensive. First of all, we were supposed to have a parking spot but there are not enough parking spots so we had to park on a public parking which is few minutes away. Next big thing is that our sheets were not clean, there was sand all over our bed and we realized too late, when we were already going to bed. They did change sheets the next day though. Next thing is check-in and check-out experience - very unprofessional. We had to tell exact time of arrival in advance which was very hard to tell. The host wasn’t very pleasant and at first told us to park on a spot that’s not allowed to be parked so we had to move the car again. Check-out was a disaster, we agreed that someone will come at 10 am but nobody came and we had to wander around looking for the staff to check out. We lost almost 2 hours for nothing and in the end we just left because we didn’t wanna waste more time. That’s the biggest reason why I would never book an apartment here again and would always go with a hotel. Another reason would be that there is no breakfast included and it’s also hard to find breakfast spots around, nothing opens early, most of the things around open after 11am. There was no AC in the room so it could get pretty hot in the room in the morning. Ceiling ventilator was not enough. Also we had to lock 3 doors in total after 6PM which is very inconvenient because there are 3 identical keys and 3 doors so you have to figure out 3 times which key is right and you have to manually lock and unlock, we were so frustrated when going back to the apartment with our hands full.

A great location right next to the beach, with places to eat nearby if you don't feel like cooking. This was a perfect choice for me, as I don't like chain hotels. It is a truly luxurious place with well-appointed apartments that are equipped with all the necessary amenities for comfort.

The only drawback is that they didn't have a plug adapter and I had to buy one separately.

Wir hatten einen sehr kleinen Balkon, auf dem man kaum sitzen konnte. Für eine Nacht war es allerdings vollkommen ausreichend

Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert. Sauberkeit mittelmäßig. Betten sehr weich. Personal eher unfreundlich. Einzig die Inhaberin Vicky ist sehr nett.

The location was amazing. Places to eat are short walking distances. I felt safe, and the facility was well kept. The apartment looked exactly like the photo. There was a lovely view of the mountain.

No elevators made it difficult to carry your bags to the upper floors. No creole dinner, which I asked for. And there was no hot water. And the TV had no channels saved, so I could not watch TV.

sehr unpersönlich, kein Willkommen oder good bye, Abkassiert für early check in (65€), Liegen wurden einem Fast unter dem Hintern am Abend weggerissen,obwohl man den Sonnenuntergang ansehen wollte, nervig !!!!!! Strandtuchwechsel nach einer Woche nur auf Anfrage Nichts in der Küche vorhanden( nicht einmal Salz oder Zucker)

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war großartig, das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Der Strand direkt vor der Türe war auch sehr schön. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr angenehmer und sauberer Aufenthalt. Alles war vorhanden, Strand und Geschäfte ganz in der Nähe. Ruhige Umgebung, gute Klimaanlage und sogar eine Waschmaschine. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und modern. Nur der Preis für drei Nächte erschien uns etwas hoch, vor allem ohne Frühstück. Mit Frühstück wäre es wirklich perfekt gewesen und hätte dem Preis besser entsprochen. Trotzdem – sehr modernes Apartment, wir haben gut geschlafen. Das Bett war bequem, weder zu hart noch zu weich. Insgesamt waren wir zufrieden!

Gorgeous vacation home, has everything a family of four could dream of, exceptional hostess who catered to needs we didn't even know we had, and the location is right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

La struttura è accogliente e comoda la posizione.

Accoglienza un po’ fredda, insistenti messaggi riguardo check out e regole della casa. Inoltre, purtroppo, la struttura non permette di lasciare le valigie dopo il check out. Bisogna organizzarsi diversamente se non si ha il volo la mattina.

Einmalige Unterkunft direkt am Strand mit eigenen Sonnenliegen. Traumhaft man fühlt sich von der ersten Minute Willkommen und zu Hause. Freundliche , sypathische Besitzerin Vicky und Managerin Sharanza, auch die Reinigungungs und Gärtner/Handyman sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es fehlt an nichts! Wir werden diese tolle Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und ohne vorbehalte weiterempfehlen!! Die neueren Wohnungen etwas rückversetzt sind wunderschön und der Standart könnte nicht besser sein. Wir waren im vorderen Haus mit Meersicht, nicht ganz so modern, jedoch perfekt für uns!

NO NOS GUSTÓ NADA ... Estamos totalmente de acuerdo con las reseñas de: ADNANNA de RUMANIA: comunicación muy pobre, mensajes extremadamente largos que te agobian y amenazan constantemente, como si fueras un delincuente en vez de un cliente, también, experiencia muy muy fría, y sin ninguna amabilidad por los huéspedes. Apoyo los comentarios de las reseñas de SAVY de SEYCHELLES, de EKATERINA de BIELORRUSIA, de VASCESLAV de ALEMANIA, y de otros que comentan que las RESTRICCIONES SON MUY FUERTES DE CHECK IN Y CHECK OUT, te tiran fuera sin ninguna consideración. Hemos viajado por todo el mundo, en muchos otros destinos, y nunca nos habían tratado tan mal. Sin ninguna humanidad. Adjunto foto del juego de llaves que nos dieron: CUTRE, CUTRE, CUTRE AL MÁXIMO y solo 1 copia. Éramos 3 personas y pedimos una 2ª llave (solo de la puerta del apartamento), pero no hubo forma, una vez mas LA RIGIDEZ DE LAS NORMAS DE LA PROPIEDAD DELATABAN LA FALTA DE AMABILIDAD y la imposición del carácter rígido de la propietaria: la abuelita Lanza.

Te venden LO QUE NO ES. MAHÉ NO ES UNA ISLA PREPARADA PARA EL TURISMO. Estuvimos en Familia, en el Apartamento Luxury 2 Habitaciones, VISTAS AL MAR (no era cierto, era UN APARTAMENTO TOTALMENTE ENREJADO SIN VISTAS A NINGÚN SITIO PORQUE NO SE PODÍAN ABRIR, ESTABAN CERRADAS CON CERRADURAS Y LLAVES QUE NUNCA NOS DIERON: NI REJAS DE LAS VENTANAS NI DE LA BALCONERA), solo una persiana se abría, daba al Jardín. ADJUNTO FOTOS PARA DEMOSTRAR ESAS REJAS EN TODAS LAS VENTANAS. La sensación fue muy desagradable. Luego viajamos a la Isla de PRASLIN y nos explicaron porque en MAHÉ tenían esas REJAS y porque veíamos tantos grupos de hombres “colgados”, era porque hay muchos drogadictos, de HEROÍNA. Las miradas de esos grupos de hombres (de mediana edad y jóvenes) era tal y como ya menciona la Reseña de MONIKA de ESLOVAKIA (gente local muy extraña, te miran devorando a las mujeres, gritan cosas desagradables y te sientes muy inseguro). No nos sentimos en absoluto cómodos, ni a gusto. Al contrario, la sensación de INSEGURIDAD fue muy muy alta, y el trato de la gente local MUY MUY DESAGRADABLE. Hemos visto publicado en las redes que la propietaria, la abuelita Victoria Lanza, es una de las que promueven el turismo en Seychelles y busca lucrarse económicamente de ello, a través de este alojamiento, por eso le interesa tanto las buenas reseñas, te pide hasta la saciedad que la reseñes en todas partes: Booking, Tripadvisor, Google, etc.. y varias veces persiguiéndote. Ella dice que su objetico es mejorar, y que acepta sugerencias. Pero cuando lees sus respuestas, a todas luces se deduce que no es cierto, ya que a cada reseña donde le ofrecen un aspecto a mejorar, ves claramente como solo se justifica y argumenta para salir airosa de la queja, argumentos pobres y justificaciones sin credibilidad, cosas como ECO-FRIENDLY, o como “nunca nadie se había quejado de esto”, o cualquier otra excusa que vaya a su favor, nunca aceptando las sugerencias, así pues, queda claro que hay detrás.

Everything was very nice and the hostess is also extremely kind and helpful Don’t mind all the automatic messages you’ll receive, it turned me off at first but once there I realized it didn’t reprensent the hostess !

The property was beautiful, spacious, well-kept and in the perfect location to enjoy Beau Vallon Beach. Marianne, the property manager, was very helpful and helped us have a very smooth stay. We would highly recommend Sables d'Or and hope to return.

No food options unfortunately

The appartment is clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, right at the Beau Vallon beach, this was one of the reasons we chose this appartment.

Very poor communication. Extremely long automatic messages sent via booking chat with a lot of info. Too much and too often. No customized communication, no possibility to comunicate via wats app. When we arrived, somebody was there to hand over the keys to us. I have asked for an wats'app nr in case we would need something and it never came. So the experience was very "cold", no care for the guests, and that was very different to what we experienced in the other accomodations in Seychelles.

The view, the cleanliness and size of the apartment, the owner with super great advice, the beach and the location.

The restaurant next door blocking part of the view, 24hours noise with kitchen ventilation releasing heavy bad smell and noise, avoiding us to open the bedroom window. Not enough car park for all residents, needed to find a place on a public spot outside.

We had the one bedroom apartment mountain view on the first floor in the annex building which is super well studied, has great fittings and furniture and offers comfortable space for spending a week of holidays in two. The kitchen is well equipped so that we had breakfast and cooked lunch and dinners on our own, but we could not resist pampering us two times with Chef Amida's delicious creole dishes which were so tasty to die for. Vicky and her team supported us whenever we had questions or were in the need to book a taxi or an excursion. The position is fantastic not only for the beach, but as well restaurants, snack places and grocery shopping are nearby. We hope, we will be back soon!

Perfect location on Beau Vallon beach. Great views from the apartment, lots of places to relax in the apartment, in the yard as well as on the beach. Apartment is clean and neat.

We stayed at a 2-bedroom self-serve apartment after spending the first part of our trip in a luxury resort in the south of Mahe. Here’s our experience: What We Loved: – The property / apartment was well-maintained, and we loved the artwork and decorations in the living room. The owner who we couldn't meet surely has a great appreciation for art / handcrafts. – Utensils, crockery, and essentials were provided, making self-catering easy. – AC, fan, and cooler were available for a pleasant stay. – Our apartment had 3 balconies. The main balcony is the attraction. We enjoyed relaxing on this large balcony. The view was beautiful. There was a cozy small second balcony for you to relax and read a book. The third one was attached to the master bedroom which we rarely used. – A common washing machine and dryer were available. – Bath towels and beach towels were included. – Despite being in a vegetative area, the apartment was kept insect-free, which was important as we were traveling with kids. Well maintained. – Great location. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. – Reserved and private sunbeds at the beach for guests. – Secured Premises. Remote-controlled main gate and a lockable beach access door ensured security. – There was a dedicated shower area outside, which helped us wash off sand before entering the apartment. A small, beautifully done washroom was attached, which was very convenient. Areas which need attention: ❌ Host/Manager Hospitality – The manager was not welcoming, and a small gesture like offering water or juice to kids would have been appreciated. At the very least, 1 complimentary bottle of water in the apartment would have been thoughtful. I had to walk to a nearby grocery store to buy a carton of water, not realizing I would need to carry 12 liters back on foot, as I was not allowed to park near the property.

This place cannot be described in words, it must be visited and experienced. Incredible attention to detail, superb atmosphere and service, a very kind woman who is the owner and a great manager who will help you with anything you need - car rental, transfer or excursion. Great landscape - palm trees and rare plants in the garden, private beach area ... and most importantly ... each apartment is steps away from the sea

Ground floor, right on the beach. Loungers supplied. Spacious apartment. Vicky was really helpful & friendly.

Crockery & glassware needs adding to. Would have been nice for the cleaning lady to put cleaned dishes/pots away.

Vicky the owner is lovely and accommodating. We met her a few times and had a lovely chat with her. The apartment we had initially booked had no hot water due to an issue at the time so she upgraded us to one of the larger luxury apartments facing the waterfront for no extra charge. Location is amazing right on Beau Valon beach. Gated property which provided some sense of safety. The apartment was also quite spacious.

The property manager wasn't super friendly and didn't want to initially provide a solution when she casually informed us we wouldn't have hot water to shower with during our stay. We had to press her to speak to the property owner and provide a solution. The "Luxury" larger apartment we were upgraded to is quite dated, booking one of the smaller ones is a way better option as they are a lot cheaper and a lot more modern and more recently upgraded from what it seemed at the time. No baggage storing facilities..

We loved absolutely everything! It's a perfect location - literally 10 steps away from the beach, and close to cafes/takeaways and a few supermarkets. The property is very well maintained, and has a beautiful garden and a small pool for those who want to relax and hide from the sun for a bit. The apartment was.super clean, modern and SO spacious! We were there with a very active toddler and had to stay home when it was raining and I simply can't imagine doing it in a typical 20sqm hotel room! The hostess and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Before we even thought of asking for something - they would offer/bring it to us. 10 out of 10. 100% recommended, particularly for those who travel with kids. We are hoping to be back done day :)

There was no exhaust fan in our bathroom or it wasn’t functioning at the time of our stay.

Rooms are very clean.

Aircondition blowing directly in head. Check in and check out restriktions are too short. Price is also a bit expenceve.

This is an exceptional place and opens right at the beach. There is parking at the facility as well as a nearby free parking. The facility is secured with gate remotes and keys and every visitor is provided with their own set of keys. It has all facilities and amenities that are listed here. The property provides beach beds and we saw surf boards and kayaks available there too. The property has two accommodation sections with higher priced one facing the beach and the lower priced one at the back. Irrespective of the price, the place is classy and is done tastefully and with that location, it is a full package. We met the owner Vicky a few times while we were there, she greeted us, showed us around and helped us get acquainted with the place too which was very kind. We then traveled around the island visiting different places and this turned out to be the best decision.
