Kent Manor Guest Suites

Have stayed here a few times before. Good location, easy parking, good value for money, very comfortable.

Unfortunately the power was out for a long time and there was no backup power at all which i see as a shortcoming. Fortunately the shower water remained hot. The only other issue was a very noisy neighbour with a blaring radio and talking very loud on his phone whilst sitting on his patio - this has happened before as well. the gate takes way too long to close again - this is a security risk and should be very simple to adjust.

Always stay here when in Johannesburg. Absolutely perfect spot in serene immaculate garden. Cannot be faulted on anything.

Up to date accommodation, perfect for a brief overnight stay.

If any, it might be challenging for some sharing, as the bathroom doesn't have a door to ensure privacy.

Well-equipped making for a very comfortable stay. Small Weber for those who can't live without a braai. Ample storage. Stoep to sit and enjoy the quiet. Melita is a great host; when she learned that there was a water supply issue, she immediately brought bottled water to tide me over until water was restored.

The location was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, private with your own little garden and the added value extras like the snacks were a special touch and so appreciated. Thank you Melita for your hospitality.

The location was very central, lots of shops and restaurants close bye and it was a short distance to drive to The Forum, The Campus for our convention so easy to get too!

I think kent guest suit should start providing breakfast for guest.

What i didn't like was my first day of arriving kent guest suit and i was asked to go since my check in time was not due.

Our second stay at Kent Manors and everything is still tip-top. Love that it is so quiet and private. Lovely little basket of complimentary snacks also supplied for when you need a nibble.

The suites have been well thought out - well kitted out - with good wi-fi and a feeling of being very safe and secure. Will definitely be back.

The property is well-situated in a quiet suburb. Check-in was friendly and efficient. It has a homely feel, and the garden-facing patio is lovely. The complimentary snacks and daily mineral water replenishment are a welcome feature.

The night light along the pathway is too bright and shines through the curtains, disturbing sleep. The room could be made cosier, with a carpet/rug as the tiles are cold in winter.

Everything about Kent Manor was just perfect. Peaceful, quiet and beautifully kept with spacious, bright apartments in a very safe suburb. The patio and garden space were ideal for eating out or just relaxing and watching the wildlife that came. Staff are all so friendly and helpful, which really made our stay so enjoyable and smooth. We really can't recommend Kent Manor highly enough and we will absolutely be visiting again next time we need somewhere to stay in Johannesburg. By far the best place we have stayed on any trip we have made. Huge thanks to Melita and all of her team :-)

Kent Manor is run by a perfectionist! The gardens, the decor, the facilities — five star! We stayed for five days and “enjoyed every moment”, the wall-motto in our spacious room. The WiFi was stable with a constantly strong signal (an important issue for us). The amenities offered were perfect. Everything immaculately clean. We are fussy guests, so in future Kent Manor will definitely be our Joburg base. .

Very friendly and helpful reception. Suites are well designed, brand new, well equipped and highly recommended. We will stay here again !

Honestly have nothing bad to say about the place, the reviews are spot on! The host was amazing, communicated efficiently and really went out their way to ensure we were happy. Also appreciated the complimentary sweet treats.

It was quiet. I was left alone, except for when the lady wanted to come clean, which was ok.

As I've reviewed this place earlier this week...it gives me everything I need in a premium guest house. I couldn't complain about anything whatsoever.

There's nothing I don't like about Kent Manor...I had a beautiful stay.

When you read reviews about this place you realize majority is giving a 10 or at least a 9 etc, and when you arrive you soon realize why...excellent and helpful hosts, facilities, cosy, serene, clean, beautiful, near everywhere you want to go, it feels like a home away from home. For peace and tranquility this is the place.

The property was well maintained, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hostess, Melita was very friendly and helpful and took the trouble to show us the unit and explain everything, including how to access the various TV channels.

Melita was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. She made us feel right at home and went out of her way to accommodate our stay. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated, offering both comfort and style. Overall, my stay at Kent Manor exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, charming place to stay with outstanding service. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in the area!

The Host were beautiful, warm and pleasent, the room was in pristine condition and fully equipped, attention to detail in every aspect, truly a home away from home experience. Quality on another level and the best value for money I have ever come across.

Kent Manor is a wonderful, very clean, neat and modern self catering property offering several well appointed apartments. The hostess, Melita was very friendly and welcoming, and showed us the apartment and ensured that we were settled in and comfortable. She also contacted us before our arrival, confirming the physical address, and supplying a location pin. After our departure she once again contacted us to enquire if eveything was in order, thanking us for our support, and wishing us a safe trip - this would seem like a normal part of the process, but very few hosts go to the trouble of proper personal interaction - bonus points for this Melita! The poperty has great security and "off the street" parking under a huge shade canopy right next to the apartments. The apartments are "fully kitted out", with a whole lot of wonderful little extra surprises!

Hosts are so lovely, they guest suites are beautiful and you are spoilt with lovely snacks in your room. The location is central and such a lovely area.

The premises is neat and spacious. Very clean and is private.

Would have loved A/C in the room, joburg can get a bit chilly.
