Slåtteng

I loved my stay at Slåtteng! Everything was exceptionally comfortable and immaculately clean. The location of the property couldn’t be more perfect: literally down the road from the ferry, and easily accessible to hiking trails and the bigger town of Lyngseidet. Heidi was the perfect host, greeting me upon arrival and giving me a tour of the house. Would 100% recommend Slåtteng if you’re spending time in the Lyngen Alps!

La casa está muy bien, tiene de todo, es muy grande, limpia y cómoda. Las vistas desde todos los sitios son espectaculares, increíblemente alucinantes. La dueña es muy amable y fue muy flexible. Está muy bien ubicada para hacer rutas muy bonitas en los alrededores. Además está el ferry al lado que te lleva hacia la zona de Tromsø. Totalmente recomendable.

Der Blick vom Haus ist einfach unschlagbar! So ein schöner Ort. Perfekte Lage, nicht weit von der Fähre und von Svensby aus kann man vieles unternehmen. Das Haus ist gemütlich und die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Alles ist geräumig und im oberen Bad ist Fußbodenheizung! Wir haben zur Begrüßung ein kleine Leckerei mit Braunkäse und Zimt bekommen und wurden herzlich behandelt :-). Der Aufenthalt war unkompliziert. Es gibt auch Schuhtrockner für nasse Schuhe. Direkt in der Nähe am Fähranleger ist das perfekte kleine Zapffe Café mit dem besten Kaffee!

Das Bett ist etwas weich.... aber dennoch gemütlich.

Sijainti erinomainen Lyngenin luontokohteisiin tutustuttaessa. Upeat näkymät vuorille ja merelle. Rauhallinen sijainti. Isäntäväki asuu naapuritalossa. Saimme tuliaisiksi paikallista Lefseä ( makea leivonnainen ) joka maistui herkulliselta.

Jääkaapissa ei ollut pakastinlokeroa. Kauppaan pitkä matka, joten ei voinut pakasteita ostaa, vaan oli ruokailua mietittävä muuten, koska kaupassa suurin osa ruokatuotteista pakasteena. Olisi myös ollut mukava jos eväille olisi saanut "kylmäkallet" kylmiksi kotimatkalle. Retkillä tällä kertaa niitä ei tarvittu.

Very nice and clean. Enough bedrooms for the six of us and spacey living room / kitchen to hangout.

Only thing missing was a sauna but there’s one close by on the camping area.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft, gute Lage für Ausflüge und sehr nette Gastgeber.

Super nette und herzliche Vermieter die auf alle Fragen schnell reagiert haben. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr viel Schnee und konnten an zwei Tagen die Nordlichter bewundern. Wir kommen jederzeit wieder gerne her

Zwei der Schlafzimmertüren dürften wohl etwas verzogen sein und lassen sich nicht komplett schließen.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig und nah an der Fähre gelegen. Das Haus bietet eine idyllische und malerische Aussicht. Polarlichter kann man hier gut erkennen.

Im oberen Stockwerk ist es im Winter etwas kühl, aber trotzdem annehmbar.

In questa casetta abbiamo lasciato il cuore. Immersa in un paesaggio magico, meraviglioso in qualsiasi orario della giornata. Completamente immersi nella natura, con ogni comodità all'interno. I proprietari sono stati gentilissimi, offrendoci un dolcetto tipico di benvenuto e portandoci gli slittini per le bimbe. La stufa a legna nel salotto è stupenda. Ottima posizione anche per osservare le aurore che si sono mostrate tutte le sere. Grazie di tutto e speriamo di rivederci un giorno!!

Die Matratze beim Doppelbett hängt durch. Die Bratpfanne müsste ersetzt werden, der Stiel fällt fast ab.

This was our favorite rental during our stay in Norway. The location was absolutely stunning, and the ferry ride was spectacular. Bright, spacious home. Very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our own meals. The host was welcoming and kind and gave us homemade pastries. We did a fun snowshoeing hike from Svensby Tursenter down the road - one of the highlights of our trip to Norway. Our guide runs the coffee shop at the ferry station. Great coffee and homemade muffins!

Fantastic house. Very spacious with everything you need. Well heated even boot warmers! Right near the ferry. We hopped in the car and drove 5 mins and saw the magnificent Aurora lights.

Jan and Heidi are great hosts, everything perfect for wonderful family vacation..

Loved the cottage & we had an exceptional experience, characterized by outstanding service and comfortable accommodations. The host created a welcoming atmosphere, making it memorable. Heidi (host) was kind to share some vegetables for us to cook for the night & also, her family drove us around since the island has limited transportation. I was greatly touched by their kindness and genuine warmth! ✨️ Thanks so much for everything ❤️

Lovely owners who goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Good location no matter you coming by car or public transport. If you in this regions you must stay with Heidi and Jan Ole

The house was big and super clean! Heidi was an amazing host, she welcomed us with some pastry. The view from the house of the fjord was unreal. We were lucky to see northern lights just outside of the house. Totally recommended.

Beautiful landscape around, lovely hosts, nice Welcoming with delicious brown cheese, place was clean and very comfortable

Unfortunately no Restaurants or Cafés around, but the kitchen was very good to cook your own meals.
