Great location, service, breakfast, spacious room and street parking a couple of blocks away at times. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool with limited open hours (normal European standards).

I really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the manager. I arrived well before check-in and they found a solution for us practically without me asking, which was great because we hadn't slept after the trip. Breakfast was also always good and it's about 500 meters from the beach.

The only thing that wasn't bad, but was less good, was the parking; it had to be on the street, but a spot always seemed to appear.

I have stayed at Stefanakis Hotel in Varkiza several times, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. It is the perfect hotel for the neighborhood and an ideal place to relax just outside the energy of Athens. Everything is impeccably maintained, from the pool to the beautiful common spaces, but what truly sets Stefanakis apart is the feeling you get the moment you walk through the door. Every single time, it feels as though they were waiting for me to arrive. The welcome is genuine, warm, and personal. I never feel like I am simply checking into a hotel. I feel like I am coming home. The location is also perfect. It is close to some of the best restaurants in Varkiza and just a three-minute walk from some of the best beaches outside Athens. It is the perfect combination of convenience, relaxation, and that wonderful seaside feeling that makes Varkiza so special. Stefanakis has become a place I genuinely look forward to returning to. Amazing hotel, wonderful people, perfect location. I will absolutely be back!

Great location, everything you need walking distance away, especially the beach. Really clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the apartment which was comfortable and well equipped with a shady balcony. A nice touch was a choice of pillows as some of us like big pillows others of us small. We will definitely come back.

Er liepen insecten in m'n bed toen we in de nacht naar bed wilden gaan. Dit heb ik gemeld bij de receptie. De man gaf onverschillig een sleutel van een nieuwe kamer. Toen ik naar de nieuwe kamer ging bleek deze nog vies te zijn. Weer naar beneden en kreeg ik weer een andere kamer. Deze was wel oké. De eigenaresse hier over gesproken en zij heeft uiteindelijk excuses gemaakt en ons een late check out gegeven ter compensatie. De eigenaresse snapt hoe het werkt. Het ontbijt is echt onderkant basic. De buurt zelf is niet echt aantrekkelijk met afval in de straten

Hotel w rewelacyjnym położeniu. Do plaży kilka kroków, do głównej ulicy z restauracjami i sklepami jeszcze bliżej. Pamiętajmy o tym, że jest to hotel o standardzie 3* w Grecji. Zatem nie oczekujmy luksusów. My byliśmy w apartamencie który był dość duży (dwa pokoje + łazienka i oddzielna kuchnia) i czysty - codziennie sprzątany. Obsługa bardzo miła, pomocna i to jest mega plus tego miejsca. Stosunek jakości / lokalizacji di ceny oceniam bardzo wysoko. Basen wystarczający, czysty z opieką ratownika. Temperatura wody w basenie - sierpień - 28-29 stopni. Leżaki na basenie, stoliki i krzesełka dostępne + ręczniki basenowe. Generalnie polecam, z zastrzeżeniem że to 3* w Grecji.

Nie ma nic takiego, jeśli bierzemy pod uwagę stosunek jakości do ceny i lokalizację.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijtbuffet. Zwembad beschikbaar. Kamer met airco. In de buurt diverse restaurants beschikbaar. Varkiza is een klein plaatsje met een klein strandje, maar met een groter betaald strand.

Het 2-persoonsbed was hard (vonden wij niet zo erg, maar kunnen voorstellen dat een ander dat te hard vindt) en had een tussenplank :(

Non aveva nulla di carino; la struttura tipo condominiale con le camere ed il suo arredo somigliavano gli alloggi studenteschi dei paesi ex - soviet ; letti con materassi sfondati ricoperti di biancheria vecchia; Il bagno fatiscente che facilmente non rispondeva allo standard internazionale di alloggio tipo Hotel per il quale la struttura in oggetto pretendeva di essere; tanto è vero che nel bagno mancava box doccia ed anche la vasca da bagno; in un angolo stretto e buio sembrava di intravedere una insenatura per fare , forse una sciacquata; nel cortile del condominio era presente una piscina con l’acqua di colore giallo - verde; Ad accoglierci non abbiamo trovato un parcheggio ( infatti tale non c’era ) e nel breve vialetto prima di entrata abbiamo trovato 2 bidoni di immondizia;

The location in Varkiza is great if you want to spend time by the sea and on the beach while also visiting Athens. The hotel has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and the pool is a nice bonus for those times when you just want to rest and don’t feel like going to the beach or anywhere else. The apartment is spacious enough and has two balconies. Wifi is just ok and working fine

Unfortunately, the room itself wasn’t very clean when we arrived, and the room amenities are a bit dated. The cleaning service also doesn’t seem to clean the floors properly. Breakfast is the same every day, and considering the amazing Greek food culture, we found the selection quite disappointing and limited. The pool is only accessible until 6 p.m., which feels a bit early. For us, it would have been much better if it stayed open until at least 8 p.m.

Sehr freundliches Personal! Die Besitzerin hat uns gleich nach Ankunft ins Zimmer gelassen, obwohl wir wesentlich früher als der reguläre Check in statt findet im Hotel waren! Wir hatten noch nie ein Bad mit so viel Ablagefläche! Das Frühstück war gut, die Zimmer sauber und das Pool Mega! Wer 5 Sterne möchte muss 5 Sterne buchen und nicht 3! Für das und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis war es total in Ordnung!

Das die Unterkunft ein wenig abgewohnt ist liegt auf der Hand! Ich finde allerdings, das hat einen eigenen Charme!

Nos gustó todo, pasamos un buen tiempo en familia, la piscina en verano se agradece mucho si vas con niños. La etanción del personal es excelente.

Solo si el interés es estar más por el centro de atenas, no os recomendaria este alojamineto por la distancia al mismo, lo pagas en trayectos, pero si vas como nosotros en tema familia, descanso, playa con la idea de ir al centro a lo escencial, pues lo recomenadmos al 100%.

Super pleasant people and super clean. The location cannot be better. You cannot expect some luxury, but you can expect a really great stay. I can recommend the hotel and the people there.

מיקום מרכזי הסמוך 5 דקות הליכה לחוף, מאפייה, מסעדות, בית מרקחת וסופרמרקט בסמוך למלון. צוות שנכון לסייע ותחושה שקטה של מלון ותיק.

המלון אומנם לא חדש וזה ניכר אך הוא שמור טוב. המדרגות מאוד צרות ולוליניות ואינם מתאימים לקהל עם מגבלות הליכה או מבוגרים. ניתן להשתמש במעליות אך הם מאוד צנועות בגודל ומיושנות. זה לא בעיה מהותית ולא פגעה בהנאה שלנו מהמלון.

Μας άρεσε πολύ που ήταν κοντά στην Αθήνα και δέχονταν τη γατούλα μας. Μπόνους το γατάκι στην είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου που πετυχαίναμε κάποιες φορές στο πρωινό και ήταν πιο φιλικός και απο τη δικιά μας! Το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ευγενέστατο. Το διαμερισμα μας υπέροχο! Ευρυχωρο, μεγαλες βεράντες με ξαπλωστρες. Το μπάνιο πεντακαθαρο, γυαλιστερο! Λατρεψα την μπανιερα! Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή. Πολύ κοντά στη θάλασσα και σε μαγαζιά με εξαιρετικό φαγητό και βραδινή βόλτα αλλά ταυτόχρονα και σε ήσυχη γειτονιά για να μπορείς να ξεκουράστεις απο τον θόρυβο της πόλης. Η πισίνα είναι καθαρή και το νερό σε καλή θερμοκρασία αλλά θα ήθελα να κλείνει λίγο πιο άργα.

Δεν υπάρχει κάτι που δεν μου άρεσε. Ίσως το πρωινό να το ήθελα προαιρετικό ή πιο πλούσιο. Βέβαια ο πιο δύσκολος πελάτης (ο γιος μου!) έτρωγε το καθημερινά φρέσκο ψωμί με τη νουτέλα, οπότε δεν μπόρω να πω κάτι αρνητικό.

Great value for money and a really good location. It’s not right on the beachfront, but everything is within easy walking distance, and you can see the sea from the balcony. During our holiday in Greece, we stayed in several hotels and apartments, and this was the only place that really lived up to its Booking rating and felt up to normal European standards. The staff were very friendly, helpful and genuinely welcoming. Breakfast is quite simple and mostly the same every day, but it has everything you need: fruit, vegetables, several kinds of cold cuts and, of course, Greek yogurt 😊 Sure, there are hotels with newer interiors and fresher renovations, but for the price, and compared with other options available locally, this one absolutely deserves 10/10. I definitely recommend it ❤️

Really enjoyed location to Varkiza, Pool and breakfast were good and rooms were excellent with nice balconies and kitchen etc. Kids really enjoyed the hotel and the staff were really relaxed and welcoming.

The location is great! Close to the beach and lot of restaurants and bars nearby. Mini market and bakery just around the corner which is great especially if you travel with family. The breakfast is very basic but good.

Not the most comfortable beds but we stayed only for 2 nights so it wasn't such a problem. A bit pricey for what it offers but as it is a walking distance from a lovely beach and so close to the airport, it worked for our family.

Ξενοδοχείο που για ελάχιστους πόντους δεν είναι 3 αστέρων, με καθαρή πισίνα, δίπλα στο κέντρο και την ανακαινισμένη πλαζ & παραλιακή περατζάδα της Βάρκιζας. Ειδική μνεία στο άριστο και ευγενέστατο προσωπικό του και ειδικά στον κύριο Μάριο!

Δυστυχώς τα κρεβάτια είναι πολύ παλιά και έχουν σκληρύνει ανεπανόρθωτα. Η υπεύθυνη μου είπε πως είναι στα άμεσα πλάνα η αλλαγή τους. Το ψυγειάκι ήταν χαλασμένο. Δεν υπήρχαν σίτες.

The location is perfect for walking to Varkiza Resort. There is a swimming pool with Lifeguard. Only problem was lack of street parking for rental car

Location is great. Near the beach, plenty of local bars and restaurants, a corner shop and a supermarket nearby. Quiet area. Staff lovely. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Pool is great. Aircon very powerful.

Pool closed at 1800 which was a shame as I'd have liked to have a dip after work. No parking provided; however, I was always able to find a space on the street within 100m after some searching.

Wat een teleurstelling, toen we na aankomst met een vertraagde ferry om 17.45 in het hotel te horen kregen dat het zwembad stipt om 18.00 dicht zou gaan. Twee teleurgestelde kinderen hebben snel zwembroeken aangedaan om nog 10 minuten in het water te kunnen spelen maar toen was het gedaan met de pret. Dicht is dicht. Het personeel toonde zich weinig empathisch en dat voelde erg ongastvrij. Het was misschien naïef van ons om bij boeking niet de openingstijden van het zwembad te checken, die les hebben we geleerd. Maar dat er her en der in het hotel nog verouderde informatie hangt waarin te lezen valt dat het zwembad tot 19.00 open is, maakte het extra zuur. Verder was de familiekamer verouderd; krakende bedden, reutelende, piepende airco en 2 irritante helgroene lichtjes naast de deur die een oogkapje dragen ‘s nachts noodzakelijk maakten. Wat was er wel goed? We hadden een heerlijk hoekbalkon en de wijk waarin het hotel staat is levendig, gezellig en dichtbij het strand. Luchthaven is op 30 min rijden.

Very good position, extremely nice and friendly staff. The room was clean and pleasant, although there was quite a heat wave. It was quiet, and one could rest at night.

Either I was too late for breakfast, or it was only that much, but I got only a very little choice.

Everything was clean, they let me check in much earlier, because i needed it. They were helpfull, everybody was super kind. Really nice weekend in Greece.

les lits sont inconfortables, propreté à revoir, nous avions des rondelles de saucisson moisies sous la clim sur le balcon, le petit dejeuner est tres limite, personnel peu arrangeant, la ventilation des toilettes faisait un bruit énorme, et le bruit des canalisations quand quelqu’un tirait la chasse , de ce fait, nous avons écourté notre séjour et sommes partis dans un hotel beaucoup plus confortable pour le meme prix a Athènes.

נהניתי מאוד מהשהייה ב־Stefanakis Hotel & Apartments. המלון נמצא במיקום מצוין בוורקיזה, באזור נעים ונוח, ובמרחק קצר מהים, מהמסעדות וממוקדי העניין באזור. החדר היה נקי, מסודר, נוח ושקט, עם כל מה שצריך לשהייה נעימה. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טובה ומגוונת, והאווירה במלון הייתה רגועה ומזמינה. מעל הכול, הצוות היה אדיב, שירותי, חם ונכון לעזור בכל בקשה. הרגשתי שמארחים אותי מכל הלב ושבאמת חשוב להם שהאורחים ייהנו. התמורה למחיר מצוינת, והחוויה הייתה הרבה מעבר לציפיות. בהחלט אחזור לכאן בביקור הבא באזור וממליץ בחום לכל מי שמחפש מקום נעים, נקי ומזמין ליד שדה התעופה באתונה

No puedo decir que algo no me gustó, el hotel está muy bien para su categoría, limpio, personal pendiente, desayuno incluido, buena localización, no son instalaciones modernas pero están muy bien

We only stayed 1 night but everything was great. From the check in process to the room, the breakfast and the general area. Room was clean and comfortable, with a useable terrace. We slept really well in the room, and all the facilities were as described. Staff was efficient and helpful.

A equipa foi super prestável. Deixou nos entrar no quarto assim que chegámos (as 11) e podemos usar a piscina no dia da saída até irmos para o aeroporto. A localização é muito conveniente, com supermercados e restaurantes próximos. A praia mais próxima é paga.

It was clean and the location is great - exactly as advertised.

The breakfast was very standard and exactly the same every day - could have been better.

We were very happy with the hotel itself and especially the staff, who were friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

The only thing we felt could be improved was the breakfast, which was a bit limited and could have had more variety.

The shower was too small and when you showered the whole toilet got wet; but nothing too annoying. The bed was also a bit hard for us
