Dimitra Hotel

Très bon accueil des propriétaires Thanasis , Dimitris et Spiros qui nous ont offert un verre de bienvenue et qui nous ont expliqué les endroits à visiter sur l’île de Naxos. La chambre était nettoyée tous les jours incluant changement de draps et linges. Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel familial.

We stayed for 5 nights on the ground floor with a spa bath, the room was spacious and immaculately clean. Dimitra and his Son were the perfect hosts, very welcoming. A very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was lovely a great choice. The hotel is in a great area around 5 minutes to the beach and lots of restaurants and bars.

This is a delightful family run hotel in a great location a short walk from the beautiful Agios Prokopios beach. We were greeted by Spiros with a welcome drink and fantastic explanation of sites, beaches and restaurants in the surrounding area. We were a family of 8 travelling together - 3 generations, 5 adults and 3 children. The pool area was perfect, especially for the kids. The rooms were cool and cleaned daily with a lot of care and attention. The breakfast on the cool terrace by the pool was also a treat. The hotel is located just off the main street but is still very quiet at night. We loved this place and would go back in a heartbeat. So much love and care and attention from all the staff and the family.

Honnêtement, la seule petite amélioration qu'il pourrait y avoir, c'est un rideau occultant pour la lumière le matin. Mais sinon tout était vraiment parfait !

Die Besitzer und das ganze Personal waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit und es lag ihnen offensichtlich am Herzen, dass es einem gut ging. Wir haben auch ein Auto von ihnen gemietet und so unkompliziert und ehrlich habe ich es noch nie erlebt. Insgesamt fand ich es so, dass man ihnen getraut hat und nicht irgendwie das Gefühl hatte, ausgenommen zu werden. Das Frühstück ist nur zu empfehlen und die Lage ist spitze. Besonders hat mir auch gefallen, dass man sowohl Tücher als auch einen Schirm für den Strand geliehen bekommt.

Die Küche war zu spärlich ausgestattet. Einen Wasserkocher hätte ich mir zumindest gewünscht und Spülmittel.

Unbelievable stay. A true family operation that displays true pride of ownership. It's all the good things about staying with family. I would stay here all summer if I could. Close to everything but you are able to retreat to a private nook.

Genuinely wonderful. A charming complex of apartments in a quiet corner of Naxos. Rooms were immaculate, with clean towels provided every day; terrific aircon and moskito repellant(!). The pool area is fantastic! 5min walk to the beach and restaurants.

The staff took the time to sit down with us, show us local attractions on a map, recommend incredible places to eat and explore, and made sure we felt right at home. Their patience, friendliness, and willingness to help went above and beyond. We never felt like just another reservation we felt genuinely cared for and welcomed as if we belonged. The location is another huge plus as it is peaceful and quiet while still being within walking distance of both the beach and downtown, making it the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. If you're renting a car or exploring the island by car or ATV, the free parking is an added bonus. If you're looking for a place with exceptional hospitality where you're treated like family, Hotel Dimitra is the place to stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be back. As we left, my dad said, “you guys are family.” Thank you for making our trip so special!

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were here for almost a week. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was lovely. The family who runs the place were extremely welcoming and helpful at all times. Breakfast was awesome--and there are snacks and drinks available all day. It is a few short blocks to what I was told repeatedly was the best beach on Naxos--as well as many shops and restaurants. We had such a fantastic time here--this was far and away our favorite place and location throughout our weeks in Greece. We were able to arrange a car rental through the hotel for one day to explore the island. The bus into Naxos town (or down south to Plaka) was very straightforward and easy. I was so grateful not to be staying in Naxos town and instead to be here where we could walk to everything. We did explore, but mostly just went to the beach nearby--which was indeed perfect--and ate at the various restaurants. This is a fantastic place to stay. You will not regret your choice. We can't wait to go back!

Petit déjeuner excellent et fait maison. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très gentil souriant. Tout est proche de cet hotel, les bars, les restos, la plage, Naxos ville. Très bon emplacement. I just wrapped up a solo trip through Greece, and my stay at Hotel Dimitra was honestly one of the highlights of the entire journey. If you’re a woman traveling alone and looking for somewhere that feels both safe and special, look no further. From the moment I arrived, Thanassis made me feel completely at home. He went out of his way — genuinely out of his way — to make sure I had everything I needed, from local tips to the warmest welcome I could have asked for. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it set the tone for my entire stay on Naxos. The location is unbeatable. You’re just steps from Agios Prokopios, routinely ranked among the best beaches in the world — soft white sand, turquoise water, and none of the chaos you’d expect from a “famous” beach. Chora, Naxos’s main town, is about 25 minutes away, but don’t let that put you off. The local bus makes it effortless to hop into town for dinner or exploring, and coming back to Agios Prokopios in the evening — away from the tourist crowds — was honestly the best part of each day. You get the charm of Naxos without the noise. This is a true boutique hotel in every sense: intimate, thoughtfully run, and full of personal touches you just don’t get at bigger resorts. As a solo female traveler, I felt looked after the entire time without ever feeling hovered over. I’d recommend Hotel Dimitra without hesitation to any woman traveling alone who wants comfort, safety, and a genuine connection with the people hosting her. The air conditioning. The Pool. The location was absolutely perfect - very close to the cafes and the beach and the bus stop. The owner and family were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, but my group wanted to go to the local cafés for breakfast so we only had breakfast at the hotel one day.

My group included two women and three teenage girls. Having only one bathroom was not ideal. After traveling in Greece, a little bit more I’ve come to realize that is not unusual.

I would give this hotel 10 stars if it was a choice. The customer service was exceptional. The pool was perfect, it is close to the beach and they even offered us beach towels. The breakfast was a great spread and they had so much attention to details like a book nook and the cleaning lady was jovial! Highly recommend. We actually extended our stay to stay here and do not regret it!

Exceptional. Absolutely exceptional. This family run boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. It is small quaint and very comfortable. The pool is very inviting. Despite the fact that the beach is just a short walk from the hotel. We were there recently with a group of 10 of us. The kids loved to play in the pool and so did the adults. The family is very welcoming and inviting him addresses Eddie issues quickly that you may have. We really did not have any problems, but they were always asking if there was anything that we needed. They provided extra amenities such as towels and sheets. Anytime we needed them. We will definitely be back to Max’s house in the future and will be looking to stay at this hotel once again. Thank you for a wonderful and welcoming stay.

Perfect location, off the Main Street but quiet enough. Beautiful setting and pool area was great for our toddler. The staff were the best in Greece after 5 hotels we stayed in, very welcoming, we got a free welcome drink and they were great with our son, giving him a gift as soon as we arrived. They organised our taxi to the port without fuss and refused to take tips when offered.

Fantastic location and wonderful hosts. The property is also beautiful and very convenient. We especially liked the balcony and being able to let in some fresh air in the evening since we do not like using air conditioning. The welcome when we arrived was also to notice. We received tips of what to do on the island and a welcome drink. It is also great to have to option of laying by the pool in case it is too windy at the beach. They provide towels for the beach and towels for the room which was an unexpected perk of staying here. Dimitra Hotel fit our needs perfectly and we will surely be coming back.

Breakfast was quite expensive compared to other offerings in the area who serve breakfast and coffee, so we didn’t end up eating breakfast at the hotel, though it did look delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at Dimitra. The family hosts were so lovely and friendly, the location is great with close proximity to the beach and many bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself is quiet and exceptionally clean. We could not fault a thing. We are planning our next trip. Highly recommend anyone to stay at Dimitra, loved it.

No, it’s not right on the beach but it’s very very close and a great value.

I can’t fault this place. When we checked in we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners including a complementary drink, and were given a map of Naxos and advice on what to see and do. We were given a larger room than we booked, which was much appreciated. The place was spotless, modern, and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful. There was a clothes airer on the balcony which was great for hanging swimwear. The pool area was beautiful and felt private due to the fence and trees separating the property from the road (unlike other places we saw). Parking was easy, in a field just a few steps away. The location is perfect, 5 mins from the beach and near shops and restaurants.

Super friendly staff!

This property was close to everything you need to see in Agios Prokopios! We enjoyed our stay and Dimitris, Thanasis and the rest of the family were welcoming and helpful. They scheduled us private transfer from the airport and gave us plenty of recommendations upon arrival and a complimentary soda. We really wished our stay was longer here!

We were greeted warmly. Rooms were comfortable and clean, pool was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. The Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Great location! Staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!

The shower in our bathroom was open so unfortunately water always got all over the floor. Also we had a room on the back of the property which was very loud when it was windy outside.

We loved our stay here so we extended. The room we had was huge and had a great balcony overlooking the pool and garden. Very peaceful yet steps from the restaurants and 5 mins walk to amazing beach. The owners were very helpful and run a fabulous hotel - they was always someone on hand if we needed anything at all. The whole place is very very clean - rooms, pool and gardens. Couldn’t fault and will stay again.

My wife and I stayed here in Agios Prokopios on our honeymoon and it was incredible!! First of all, the town itself is a quiet little beach area that is only 10-15 minutes taxi from the airport and the main Naxos town, but you don't feel the noise or hectic energy of bigger city. The beaches are beautiful and calm, with many options for day beds and delicious beach bar food. There are also plenty of local coffee shops or brunch places to grab snacks throughout the day. Dimitra Hotel itself is a beautiful and quiet oasis right off the main road of Agios Prokopios, yet only 2-3 minutes from the beach. There is a pool if you want too! The hotel is run by a father and son team who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. Day or night, Thanassis was there with a smile and advice for places to see, to call a taxi, or just to chat about the island. Panagiota also made sure that fresh towels and bed sheets were provided every day -- they also supply you with hotel towels to use on the beaches so you don't need to pack your own! Home cooked breakfast is available daily (for an extra fee) and it looked delicious, although my wife and I didn't happen to try it on our visit; we just bought frappes and pita from the local coffee shops before heading to the beach :) I would also be remiss if I didn't mention Giannoulis Tavern, one of the best meals you can ask for (and located right around the corner)!! Delicious Greek cuisine, fresh fish, amazing friendly atmosphere (yiasou Niko!) and always busy! We went there 2 nights and honestly we could have eaten there every day -- every taxi driver made sure to ask us if we had gone there, so you know it's excellent!!! Overall we can't wait to visit again, and Dimitra Hotel is definitely where we will stay again in the future!!

Our family enjoyed this small family run hotel. Rooms were clean and a good size. You have plenty of dining and bakery options all around you. Quick walk to the famous beach which also has a plethora of set-ups from restaurants to spend the day. The kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel arranged our transportation to/from the ferry. It’s a nice place.

We loved Dimitras and his hotel! What a great find in a lovely location close to the beach. One of my favourite resorts now thanks to the terrific beach, wonderful bars and loungers for hire. Our room was very clean, modern and with great facilities including Smart TV, good WiFi, etc. You couldn’t ask for a more welcoming owner - Dimitras - with support from his son. Very helpful and fab, we’ll be back!

Proximity to the airport - room was comfortable and clean. Loved the food - nice to be able to sit outside the restaurant in a quieter lobby area for dinner.

This hotel was very centrally located but was still quiet and away from the main road ! They had a big lot so parking was easy for the rental car and the place is absolutely beautiful. Spacious and clean rooms with a balcony !

This Hotel is ideally located within walking distance to a wonderful sandy beach and many numerous Tavernas and shops. The Hotel had a very nice pool to relax in if you were not interested in going to the beach you could spend your time relaxing by the pool. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful and always willing to assist with any queries.

The owners - Dimitri & Thanassis were unbelievable! So kind, hospitable and accommodating! We will stay here again!

Nice hotel I. Great location. Short walk to Plaka Beach, restaurants, bus around island, bike, 4wheeler and car rentals. The best part is the service that Dimitre and his son give each customer. Very clean, nice pool and wonderful breakfast. Very happy, will stay here again !

The breakfast area creates a lot of early morning noise for the garden-view rooms. For those who want to sleep longer, staying farther from the breakfast area is a must in my opinion.

Hotel familiar, spiros y su hermano y padre fueron amabilisimos. Nos dieron muchos consejos útiles sobre la zona. El hotel es pequeño y muy tranquilo y está muy cerca de la zona de restaurantes y playa. Está muy bien cuidado y súper limpio.

Quiza faltaba una zona de estar en el apartamento, al haber tantas camas. Pero se suplia con la mesa y sillas de fuera

It was quiet and family run. The location of the hotel was excellent- a few minutes from the beach and the bus stop. The rooms were clean and designed really well. It’s was perfect for our family of 5. The only staff were all lovely and friendly. The pool was so lovely too!

Simply exceptional, my wife and I went on vacation to Greece on the island of Naxos and we chose this hotel. The setting is magnificent, the hotel is very well located, the staff is extremely kind, always ready to help and inform you, no matter the time. The manager showed us how much the Greeks have a sense of hospitality. I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to discover this magnificent island. We have magical memories and we will come back! Thank you very much.

Everything was perfect, clean room, comfortable big bed, the pool area is very nice and the hotel owners are great people. We wouldn’t hesitate coming back again.

Love, love, loved our stay at Dimitria, we felt so welcome when we arrived, Sat had a coffee and were shown some great local recommendations - we utilised this knowledge for the cheese & potatoes, sadly we were only stopping for two nights. The hotel is clean, our room was really spacious with a cute balcony by the pool! The pool area is super great - clean and lots of space to lounge. Yummy breakfast too. The hotel is Off the main high street and a super quiet location! Even saw some cute lizards 🦎 but all amenities are walkable in a minute! We really hope to come back to Dimtria and Naxos next year! I would highly recommend. Public transport by bus to town was super easy and reliable. The beaches close to Dimitria are gorgeous too.

Lovely hotel 2 minutes walk from the nicest beach on Naxos. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, but still quiet for a good sleep. Decent bakery around the corner for your breakfast bits. I think you can also get breakfast at the hotel, but we didn't. Pool was great for a cooling dip, good size too. Plenty of sun loungers and a really cool seating/laying area in the shade under the trees. There is a bar for your drinks around the pool. They also give you pool/beach towels which were useful. Very clean. Big comfy bed and hot shower with good pressure. Good size balcony to sit out with a drink or just dry your swim wear. The owner, his wife and son were very welcoming. We would definitely stay again.

Little things. No parking at the hotel, we parked 5 minutes walk away at the main car park for the village, it's close enough not to be a big problem. The windows of the bathrooms were a bit weird, ours opened to the shared front terrace next to our neighbours front door, and theirs opened to our balcony. Wouldn't stop us staying here again though, we really liked it here.
