Wow. Not much except the room was clean.

Owner never read my email to say what time we would be there. We arrive at 7:01 no one there. We wrang, walked to the back, back at the front called him several times. The only way we got a hold of him was we went to the Comfort in, and the staff looked up and got another number. When we called he barely spoke English. We could not understand. My husband was mad he wanted to drive 101 k to find another place. I Said no, we paid for this room We are expecting to get reimbursed at least some partial amount. They need to fix the back step and leading to it. Dangerous. He tried to make it up but by then but was to late. While waiting we met a couple also waiting. They were told they would be charged an extra 25 after 8 arrival.they were there before. I think a partial refund of 30.00 would be sufficient.

Great Motel!!! The owner went above and beyond to help me when there were no pubic buses or trains available. He arranged a ride at a low cost so I could get to my destination on time, which I really appreciated. Facility was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended especially if you are in a pinch and need a little extra help.

It was supposed to be a "family room" suitable for 4 people... there were 2 beds against one wall in a maybe 10x12 room... maybe 2 feet between the beds and the wall... we had to share the bathroom with 3 other rented rooms. No toilet tissue although supposed to be in vanity. Also, no soap. It said had laundry available but he discouraged that & we were told would be $10 a load charge. One of the beds had only a top mattress and no boxsprings, a bed skirt for its top sheet and no bedspread or comforter. It was almost like a bad prank or terrible joke...

L’endroit est non sécuritaire. Dangereux de se stationner juste en face de l’hôtel, car propriétaire nous dit que beaucoup de gens drogués et soûls et nous recommande fortement de nous stationner loin de l’hôtel et près du post de police.

There was a shared kitchen with moldy food in the fridge. Did not feel comfortable cooking breakfast or using the appliances

The room was located on top of a salon that was not in operation. The address was hard to find as the name of the salon was spray painted with black paint. Upon arrival there was nobody at the location, had to wait 20 min for someone to arrive. The owner walked myself and another older couple through the salon, that does not look anything like the description of booking.com. photos. The site says there are no animals allowed. The salon was dirty, cluttered, and there was a cat and a smelly litter box in the space. It looks like the salon has not been in operation for a long time. The cat followed us up a very steep set of steps. The smell of musty cat odor followed us up to the space as well. The shared space appeared to be cleaned, however the description on booking.com gave us and the other guest that these were separate apartments. When actually it is one apartment with 4 private rooms and everything else is shared, including the bathroom that is very small with a sink, toilet, washer/dryer, and stand up shower. The room was clean and did not smell like cat odor but it was very small. To leave the accommodation space and come back in you had to exit down the steep flight of steps and out the backdoor. The backyard was very cluttered with dim lighting. Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend this space to anyone. This is more like a hostel environment not a aparthotel-style accommodation. There is a small fan in the room, the air conditioner is located in the shared living space. The owner was very response, however he told us that his staff were on the desk between 3:00-8:00 pm. Originally, we were going to arrive after 8:00 pm. He told us that we had to 2 options: pay staff to work overtime or pay him $25.00 for gas and he would come let us in. With a change of travel plans we arrived at the accommodation before 8:00 pm and there was no one onsite and clearly there were no staff as the Spa is not even open.

Hello, they demanded 20 dollars from me to let me in.. This place looks different in real life.. The owner of this place is very rude.And after I got inside. He refused to pay him for opening the door for me. He wanted to slash my tires.

The linens and pillows had seen better days but the main problem was the entrance and exit from the property. It was at the back of the property and when the owner showed me he told me to be sure to lock the door because there was a significant drug problem in the town and people, junkies would often try the door to see if they could get in. It was not a very safe feeling environment plus I had a car full of stuff as I was travelling and I was very nervous about leaving it parked in the General car park despite assurances that they were police and cameras everywhere, because of the drug problem in the town

The staff are so nice ! The communication was great , I made a mistake and they helped me and they had a lot of patience with me, they are pretty flexible and understand your situation; the location was great for my purpose.

The fridge in my room was dirty :( We went on May and it was cold, we only had one thin blanket and no heater 🥺

Exceptional location - walking distance to everything in central Amherst. I drove from the Moncton airport, parked my car in the free parking behind the location and didn't use my car again until I left to drive back to the Moncton airport. The shared kitchen is great for breakfasts. The place is simple, nothing fancy, but it delivers great value for money and has everything you really need - comfortable bed, places to sit and relax, great coffee shop right next door, and good restaurants all within a couple of blocks.

The street noise was a bit noticeable early in the morning. I was in one of the front bedrooms - the two at the back would be quieter, but they are also a bit smaller, so there's a tradeoff there.

The staff there were very kind and helpful. We had to postpone our check-in due to bad weather. They were very understanding and helped with our situation. The accommodation was clean and as expected. But their support was really exceptional.

Sanitaires communs mais précisé lors de la réservation. Difficulté à trouver l adresse qui correspond à une sorte de magasin pour le rez-de-chaussée. Peu d isolation phonique et nombreuses consignes uniquement en anglais difficiles à appliquer sans traducteur. Manque une lampe de chevet.

My stay at this property was amazing! The staff are super friendly and so helpful, it’s like a home from home with everything you need in the kitchen, I would suggest this property to everyone, want of the best places I have been Watch out for Expedia though as when I got to the property I had to pay another $100 because of Expedia false advertising regarding the price! I’m still waiting for my $100 refund that they advised would be credited to my bank account last week already! Very unprofessional on behalf of Expedia

Basic room, clean and warm. Owner friendly and helpful. The money saved on the room paid for dinner at Duncan's Pub nearby which was fantastic. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom and just need a bed for the night, it was hard to fault. Look forward to my next stay.

Facility had everything me needed at a reasonable price.

Host was very helpful. He checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. He followed up the next morning. The accommodations were basic although just what we needed. We got a good nights sleep, used the shared kitched and shower and watched YouTube. Wifi was available but we did not us it.

We were the only guests the night we stayed. There are four bedrooms. Many be crowed if all four rooms had guests.

The location is superb, right in downtown Amherst. The room isn't fancy, but it is comfortable and very serviceable. Having a shared kitchen available for breakfasts and quick dinners was very useful.

The shared bathroom might be an issue if there were other guests who took a long time in the bathroom. I didn't experience that, but it could be an issue.

Be aware to provide a specific check in time or host may not be present. Quiet rooming house type set up above holistic clinic. Clean shared spaces and comfortable room. Nice touches. Many historic heritage homes and buildings walking distance.

Space was more than adequate for my needs. Being right downtown in Amherst allowed access to places to eat, touring beautiful Victoria St , close to a public library.

Would have liked a little more seating in back courtyard but a little park right next to worked well .

The location is superb - right in downtown Amherst, so everything you want in town is within walking distance. Parking is conveniently located just behind the accommodations.

It was unseasonably warm in Amherst while I was here and the room was a bit warmer than optimal. The kitchen facilities worked well for me, but they are somewhat rudimentary.

The location was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen worked well for what we needed.

Some of the listed amenities weren't accurate, there was no in-room AC, it was one unit shared between 4 rooms. The small kitchen and bathroom were also shared between 4 rooms, which was no problem sometimes and kind of annoying at others.

Eew, the bedrooms are mixed-use space and was filled with every smell from the downstairs acupuncture shop, mixed with curry cooking. My kids didn’t want to stay for one minute, not even one night so we had to abandon and escape. After my low ratings and bad comments, the next day the business retaliated by falsely claiming that we broke their mirror. They initially claimed $150 and on the third day increased it to $1515 after I complained to customer service. We even didn't enter their bedroom how could we damage their property? They are dishornesty!

The location is excellent, with a little park just around the corner with nice flower beds and picnic tables, and restaurants steps away. The train station is within a few minutes walk and the bus station a short cab ride away.

It was run down, not very comfortable and entry through the rugged back of the house. It was a budget alternative but with regards to what we paid at other places not value for money.

Es war nicht sauber, weder Küche noch Bad. Zimmer war sauber aber nur dünne Holzwand. Daher alle Geräusche außerhalb des Zimmers deutlich hörbar. Kühlschrank und AC machten laute Geräusche, weshalb das Zimmer angeblich so günstig war. Nicht zu empfehlen für alkeinreisende Frauen. Atmosphäre war nicht wie in einem Guesthouse mehr für Dauergäste, z. B. Arbeiter, die länger dort übernachteten.

It was not as described on the add. This more like a guest house where the host seems to be leaving as well.

I didn't have any breakfast as I left early in the morning. The host was excellent and obviously enjoyed having guests. The accommodation was very good. The location was perfect for anyone visiting Amherst for a day or longer.

The only thing I would change was having a black curtain or screen over the bedroom window because the street lights on the other side of the road kept the room lit throughout the night., which made it more difficult to get to sleep.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was close to the event we were attending.

Even though the location was great, secure parking was not available, so I spent most of the night checking on our car while my daughter got a good night's rest.

Really, it exceed my expectations

Friendly host, recommended restaurants, but I was too tired at the end and not hungry enough to try one ;) Stayed one night only during a longer drive and was looking for a budget option. Served for this purpose.

As others wrote, the blanket in the lowest booking category is pretty thin, but i had my own travel sleeping bag so didn't inquire with the host for anything more substantial. Parking is public lot in view of the police station. Took everything out of the car for the night to not attempt anyone to try their luck on the recommendation of the host.Everything worked well and I continued my journey the next morning.

Duvet was thin. Kitchen was missing equipment to make cooking a reality.

The host would not let us into the already paid for room. He insisted that Booking.com was hacked, that this was not his problem and that we had to cancel. This happened at 19:00 and we had to spend the night in our car. Do not book here, or be prepared to be denied entry whenever you arrive there.

Place was ok. Odd set up. Bed very uncomfortable and worn down to the springs. Bathroom smelt musty and wasnt very clean. Owner was nice.

The owner is a very kind and caring host, I felt very welcomed upon arrival. The shared kitchen, washroom and laundry facility was a great addition to make it feel more than just a room. The other guest staying at the time, were very friendly and thoughtful. I would recommend staying here as it is also right downtown and within walking distance to local shopping and some great food options.
