We checked in on 2 September 2026 at around 5:00 PM, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the condition of the room upon arrival. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned and there was a strong urine smell. The room floor had also not been swept or mopped. We immediately contacted the management by phone to make a complaint, but unfortunately, the cleaner did not arrive promptly. As we needed to use the bathroom, we had no choice but to clean and wash it ourselves before we could use it. The cleaner only arrived approximately two hours later to carry out the cleaning. This was a very disappointing experience, especially considering that we had checked in at around 5:00 PM and expected the room to be clean and ready for our arrival. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not stay at this place again in the future, and we would not recommend it to others. We hope the management will take this feedback seriously and improve their cleaning and housekeeping standards.

The location served its purpose for our one-night stay, but we experienced a few notable issues. First, the bathroom sink was backed up, and lemon rinds floated up whenever the tap ran. Having a plunger on-site and having a plumber check the shared lines would prevent guests from dealing with standing water. Second, and most critical, we found pieces of broken debris under the blanket cover. We luckily spotted it before our toddler got into bed, but it posed a serious safety hazard. We strongly advise requiring your cleaning team to fully strip and inspect all bedding between stays. Thank you.

Great stay at Genting Highland Geo38. Large, clean and comfortable high level appartement with 1 bedroom with double bed and in the living room 2 double beds. Clean bathroom. Kitchen with table and chairs, utensils and even a washing machine in room available. For 134 RM a night it's an excellent deal!

Both swimmingpools were freezing cold, no heated pool here.

Water heater is not functioning for one bathroom. Check in line and time required to check in is long during 3pm peak . If could get earlier notification that the unit is available to check in would be preferable . Tv remote is without back cover . The item should be at least in order and check whether is in condition or not. Bathroom condition required to be recheck before let new guess check in.

Staffs are friendly, explanations are good and details. The house I stayed very comfortable and nice. Very convenient to shop and eat stalls.

The hotel lied about the heated swimming pool—it wasn’t working at all. Security staff were rude. Our room was full of dust and dirty. We contacted service, but they only brought one sheet at 1 a.m. without changing the duvet cover. Room facilities had many issues and staff service was poor. Not worth staying here.

Sangat kecewa dengan tahap kebersihan hotel ini. Baru sahaja check-in, tetapi keadaan tandas sudah kotor. Lantai, dinding dan beberapa sudut bilik air jelas tidak dibersihkan dengan sempurna. Kebersihan sepatutnya menjadi keutamaan sesebuah hotel. Diharapkan pihak pengurusan dapat meningkatkan standard kebersihan agar pengalaman tetamu lain tidak terjejas.

I usually stays here but this time The toilet ! Omg ! Very dirty, smells very bad (urine) that was not washed !! Microwave not working (not heating anything up) ! Dining table super dirty with stains ! Please do something about this unit ! Level 7 unit no 8 ! I swear its not pleasant to stay with that kind of toilet condition, dining table and microwave !

I had a really good stay here. The place was very clean and well maintained, which made me feel comfortable throughout. The person in charge was also very friendly and easy to deal with. Would definitely come back again!

The unit I booked was completely different from what was advertised in the listing. The photos shown were misleading and seemed to be used only to attract customers. When I arrived, the actual condition of the place was extremely disappointing. It felt more like a neglected lodging area used by strangers rather than a proper accommodation. The unit was very dirty, unhygienic, and had an unpleasant smell. What made the situation even worse was the way their staff handled my complaint. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to solve the problem, they showed no concern and did not seem to care about my experience at all. I feel completely disappointed and wasted my money. I stayed for three days and two nights in a place that was far below expectations. This is definitely my first and last time staying here. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The service, cleanliness, and attitude shown were unacceptable. A place that takes customers’ money should at least provide a clean and decent environment, not something like this.

Property was clean and located in good place we can get food and access to genting highlands easily.

Checkin checkout process need to updated, now it's really annoying. For checkIn/out we need to visit different building and stay in different building. They are nearby by walkable but not good with all the luggage.

Cleanlines of the unit, it was not clean at all. Dining table was sticky & stained. Floor was sticky, sofa had stain. Overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Elevator service was below par. Had to wait minimum 30 mins during checkout

The location is excellent and very convenient for visiting Genting Highlands. The suite was spacious, and having two bathrooms was useful for a family stay. At first glance, the room appeared comfortable, and the overall design of the property was quite nice.

The biggest issue was the check-in process. Although check-in instructions were provided, the check-in counter is not located in the same building as the accommodation. We first arrived at Geo38, only to discover that we had to travel to a different location to complete the check-in process and then return to the property. This resulted in approximately 1.5 to 2 hours of unnecessary confusion and delays. Future travellers should carefully review the check-in instructions before arrival. If you prefer everything to be under one roof, with the reception and accommodation in the same location, this arrangement may be highly inconvenient. While the process may work for some guests, we found it unnecessarily complicated after a long journey. The kitchen facilities were also disappointing. Although a kitchen was advertised, only a limited number of plates, cups, and basic utensils were provided. We could not find many standard items such as knives, forks, or other useful kitchen accessories that are commonly available in serviced apartments and premium suites. Another issue was the blue indicator lights on many of the electrical switches throughout the room. Having so many illuminated switches created unnecessary brightness at night and made the room less comfortable for sleeping. In addition, after closer inspection the mattresses showed visible orange stains or marks, which raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. While the property is marketed as a premium suite, some aspects of the facilities did not meet the standards we expected from similar accommodations.
