Wow this place was so perfect 👌 The bed which is so important while traveling was so comfortable.

Parking is important to know how to parallel park very well. And the street parking is 1 euro and hour.

Fantastic breakfast! The food was always fresh and tasty and made with love!

We had an excellent stay here as a family of 4 with 2 kids. Had the bigger apartment with a sofa bed and 1 bedroom and it was so spacious and perfect size for us. It has had a full kitchen with stove, microwave / oven, fridge, range, dish washer with all cooking and eating utensils. Everything we needed for a long term stay. Each day breakfast is included: continental with local bread, jams and pastries and additional items like eggs, yogurt, etc upon request. on our last day they offered a to go baggie because it was earlier than normal breakfast time. There's a pool upstairs with a gym, sauna and Turkish stream room. It was a super relax time at the end of a busy day. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. Was able to easily contact them for anything via WhatsApp or front desk and always very responsive. There are 3 parking spots you can reserve ahead of time under the building but are very tight maneuvers. Free parking lots around the area which the hotel can guide you as well. Location is very central and in the middle of the city centre. Can't recommend this hotel enough if you're looking to stay in the city.

2eme séjour dans l’établissement: nous avons commencé nos vacances ici et cette fois nous avons fini nos vacances ici. Nous avons eu la chambre 4 qui est largement meilleure que la chambre 2 que nous avons eu la dernière fois.

The hotel truly lives up to its name. The rooms have a very clean and modern design, comfort assured and are very spacious. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful, always at service of the guests. They helped us arranging transport on the island, as we had 1 day without a rental car. They have also offer a take-away breakfast because we had a very early flight and gave valuable tips for the city and the island. The pool was also very nice. To mention also the great location of the hotel, short walking distance to an animated restaurant area and the city center. Also well located to get to the airport with a taxi ride of about 15 minutes. Overall a very pleasant and relaxed stay. Not to forget the wonderful gallery adjacent to the hotel and the art works at display in the hotel. Very well curated and will please all art lovers!

L’emplacement est parfait, avec possibilité de parking gratuit. Le personnel est au top, accueillant, prêts à aider à tout moment. Ils ont la gentillesse de nous préparer un go-bag pour le petit-déjeuner le jour de notre départ car le vol est très tôt.

Dans notre appartement, la porte de douche ne se ferme pas très bien

la douche a tendance à couler dans la salle de bain à cause d'un défaut d'étanchéité. l'espce est un peu exigu pour une famille à 4 dans les studios à 37 m2. les 2 enfant doivent dormir sur un canapé lit peu confortable.

Appartement très propre et beau et bien que petit, très bien aménagé. La clim est un avantage et l'intérieur de la chambre n'est pas humide. L'hôtel est très bien placé, la piscine sur le toit petite, mais parfaite pour se rafraîchir, la salle de gym bien achalandée. Le personnel est souriant et aide volontiers. Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre, au choix, est très bon et le petit électroménager dans la chambre suffisant. La place dans le parking fermé est un avantage incomparable.

Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner le sauna et le hammam. Si l'on a prévu de se détendre c'est un peu dommage, mais comme on vient surtout pour visiter, c'est moins embêtant. Dans les chambres à 4 personnes, le canapé lit deplié bloque l'accès au frigo et aux plaques de cuisson. C'est un peu étroit pour cuisiner.

We had a great stay at Casa da Galeria. The location was perfect for exploring Ponta Delgada, and our apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Having breakfast delivered to our room each morning was a highlight, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting with transportation and adding thoughtful touches throughout our stay. It was a great mix of a boutique hotel and a private apartment, and we would happily stay again.

La configuration générale est très soignée sur le thème général d’une galerie d’art contemporain sur le modèle du cube blanc mais en parvenant à y mettre du charme et de la bienveillance. Tout le personnel est agréable et prévenant, un grand merci à toute l’équipe!

Il pourrait être utile d’avoir un espace pour faire sécher ses affaires de plage (ou de pluie 😉)

The staff at the casa de galeria went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. They communicated well before and during our stay. When we told them we would leave before breakfast started, they provided us a bagged lunch to go, which was delicious. The room was large, clean and well maintained. The location was great!

Studio très sympa, nous y avons passé une nuit en transit entre 2 avions, navette aéroport pratique (15 euros quand même) on n’a pas eu le temps de tester la piscine! Dommage!

The location of the parking garage was a little tough to access when you’re not used to navigating the narrow streets of Ponta Delgada. However, the staff were helpful!

We enjoyed a marvelous stay, from the time of booking to check out, the communications and service was exceptional. The room was clean, breakfast had variety and was delicious and plentiful. The attention to detail was superb. The art gallery, pool and sauna, sitting areas scatttered around. They supplied yellow towels for the thermal baths. There was free parking throughout our stay. The location was perfect for strolling the old town with several excellent restaurants nearby. Such a warm and fantastic start to our Azores adventure, thank you for everything 🙏

Wir haben bei Casa da Galeria einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Angefangen vom herzlichen Empfang der Besitzer am Flughafen, über das moderne, sehr geräumige und liebevoll ausgestattete Zimmer, das reichliche und individuelle Frühstück (wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und man kann täglich aus einer sehr langen Liste wählen) bis hin zum Abschied, als wir noch ein süßes Geschenk erhielten und vom Eigentümer wieder zum Flughafen gebracht wurden. Aber ganz besonders zu betonen ist der herzliche Service - alle unsere Wünsche wurden stets perfekt erfüllt, höchste Flexibilität bei kurzfristigen Planänderungen und die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter. Man merkt einfach jederzeit das Bemühen um den Gast und fühlt sich wie in einer großen Familie. Die Lage ist recht zentral, man ist zu Fuß rasch beim Hauptplatz, am Hafen und bei den besten Restaurants. Wir hatten für die Woche einen Mietwagen (über Casa da Galeria organisiert) und einen Stellplatz in der kleinen, hauseigenen Garage - auf der Straße ist es dort überall SEHR eng und nicht einfach, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Vielen, vielen Dank an das ganze Team von Casa da Galeria!!!

We loved the friendly and helpful staff, the spacious, quiet, well equipped and clean room, comfortable bed and the yummy breakfast being delivered to the room each morning. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Ponta Delgada.

We liked everything about our stay.

We enjoyed everything, beautiful and artfully done ,very clean, the apartment was lovely. Bedding was fabulous (white and crisp) The staff were wonderful, took care of everything. Breakfast delivered to apt. and had everything you would want. They even have nespresso machine in rooms!!!!!

The breakfast was really good and the options to select from made everyone happy. The kitchen was very well equipped. Everything needed was there and also very clean. The people were very friendly and helpful.

Perfekter Aufenthalt! Das erste Hotel, in dem ich nichts von den Zimmernachbarn gehört habe! Superfreundliches Personal, nach den eigenen Wünschen anpassbares Frühstück zur gewünschten Uhrzeit aufs Zimmer. Tolle Lage, man hat in Fußnähe eine große Auswahl an Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Einzig den Verkehr hört man ein bisschen im Zimmer, war aber nicht schlimm, hab mich schnell daran gewöhnt und wichtiger war mir, dass ich nicht durch Zimmernachbarn gestört wurde. Die paar Verkehrsgeräusche nahm ich gerne in Kauf, dafür dass man nah am Zentrum übernachtet. Und bei der Ausstattung der Zimmer wurde an alles gedacht! Kopfkissen in verschiedenen Varianten, Bademantel, Slipper, Körperpflegeprodukte, sogar eine Küchenwaage stand zur Verfügung. Sollte ich nochmal auf die Azoren reisen, würde ich mich gar nicht nach einem anderen Hotel umschauen - besser als Casa da Galeria geht es nicht!

Die Lage ist zentral. Die ausgestellten Bilder in der Galerie Geschmackssache, in Summe süß gemacht, eher minimalistisch. Dachterrasse ist nett. Personal freundlich und bemüht. Haus grundsätzlich modern. Abholung vom Flughafen für 15 Euro klappte. Taxen gibt es aber auch und sind günstiger. Tägliches Frühstück aufs Zimmer kam pünktlich und war auch ganz süß. Das Bestellen und Tablett abholen bringt allerdings einiges an extra Kommunikation. Küche funktional ausgestattet. Betten sehr bequem. 4 Stühle und Sofa boten genug Sitzgelegenheiten. Wir hatten erst Apartment 1 und durften dies freundlicher Weise wechseln zu Apartment 7. Das war sehr nett.

Apartment 1 hatte nur ein schmales kippbares Fenster. Die Belüftung war uns für ein Zimmer mit Wohn-, Schlaf-, Kochbereich und innenliegendem Badezimmer am Ende des Zimmers nicht ausreichend. Die Klimaanlage als Alternative zu nennen ist kein Frischluftersatz. Das Fenster ging auf Parkplatz und Innenhof mit Aschenbechern. Zweites Fenster nicht zu öffnen, dafür Zimmer sehr hell. Apartment 7 hatte dann 2 Fenster kippbar zur stark befahrenen Hauptstraße raus. Es war besser geschnitten und hatte eine moderne Glasduschwand, das andere hatte einen Vorgang und war eigentlich für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet. Stauraum gibt es faktisch nicht. Der Kleiderschrank ist voll mit Kissen, Bademänteln u.ä., keine Garderobenhaken für nasse Straßenkleidung am Eingang, keine Regale im Bad oder extra Haken für Bademäntel. Man lebte also aus dem Koffer trotz des recht großen Zimmers. Stadtblick war nicht. Blick runter auf einen Dachvorsprung und gegenüber auf ein Haus. Mit dem lauten Wasserboiler, von dem hier einige schrieben, machten wir auch Bekanntschaft, ohne Vorwarnung. Der Pool ist wirklich klein und reicht zum Abkühlen. Die Liegen und der Außenbereich könnten gemütlicher sein, dann wäre es eine kleine Oase in der Innenstadt. Grundsätzlich war das Apartment sauber, leider hatten wir aber immer wieder fremde Haare im Bett und im Bad. Für mich war bei der Buchung besonders wichtig ein Haus zu wählen, dass keine Haustiere gestattet, da ein akuter Allergiker dabei war. Leider stand bei Buchung nirgendwo etwas von der Hauskatze, die sich im gesamten Erdgeschoss aufhielt, auf Sofas, auf dem Tresen, im Hof, usw., sodass man immer draußen warten musste, um einen Allergieschub zu vermeiden.

Pobyt w Casa da Galeria w Ponta Delgada był naprawdę wyjątkowy. Wszystko było na najwyższym poziomie – hotel bardzo czysty, zadbany i świetnie zorganizowany. Ogromnym plusem były pyszne, regionalne śniadania, dzięki którym można było poczuć klimat Azorów już od samego rana. Personel zasługuje na szczególne wyróżnienie – niezwykle pomocny, serdeczny i zawsze uśmiechnięty. Od początku do końca czuliśmy się mile widziani. Bardzo wygodnym udogodnieniem był również transport z i na lotnisko, który przebiegł sprawnie i bezproblemowo. To miejsce ma wyjątkową atmosferę i zdecydowanie chętnie wrócilibyśmy tam ponownie. Gorąco polecam!

Beautiful hotel, nicely renovated, serves as an art gallery as well. The staff was amazing to us and helped us beautifully to sort a small problem we had with our luggage.

Rewelacyjne położenie. Personel przemiły i pomocny. Kot na zarządzajacy recepcją imponujący.

Frühstück konnte man jeden Tag neu auswählen. Allerdings hat man die Auswahl schnell durch. Die Lage war sehr zentral, in 6-8 Minuten ist man im Stadtzentrum in 10 Minuten am Hafen/Meer.

Appartment ist relativ klein. W-lan ist nervig, da man sich jedesmal neu anmelden muss (captive Wlan). Lärmbelästigung durch Verkehr direkt vor dem Hotel/Straße - im 1. Stock konnte man die Türen nicht öffnen.
