Dimora De Mauro

Dimora di Mauro was a very pleasant place to stay, with the apartments ranged round an attractive courtyard with plants and tables. Our apartment, No 110, was spacious, clean and quiet, well insulated from the noise of the busy street outside. We were only there for 2 nights and did not do any cooking but the place seemed reasonably equipped, with a dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. It was convenient having 2 bathrooms, one of which doubles as a laundry room, with a washing machine and a curious, plastic Belfast sink contraption on wheels for hand washes - handy if you only need to wash a few things. Quite a few restaurants close by, one next door, another just across the street and a grill place up the road. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They swiftly had the double bed converted into 2 singles for us and a defective bedside lamp was whisked away and replaced with a working one.

The only criticism is that the lighting is rather dreary, with flat ceiling lights and only one small table lamp; the light for reading is very poor. Would definitely benefit from a couple of nice, large table lamps or standing lamps. Also there is no lighting over the kitchen work counter, so it would be quite dark if you were cooking; under-cupboard strip-lighting would make a lot of difference.

Posizione eccezionale per visitare il centro di Catania. Carina la struttura con il cortile. Le ragazze della reception sono state fantastiche: simpatiche e di ottimi consigli.

Se avessi dovuto stare più tempo, non avrei apprezzato la poco luminosità dell'appartamento.

La.ubicación increíble, el personal muy atento. Se aparca bien en la calle. Esta en un barrio muy popular. Se puede dejar las maletas tras hacer el chek out lo que resultó muy cómodo para seguir visitando la ciudad. Puedes rellenar las botellas de agua potable.

Para 7 noches el sofa-cama no era muy comodo para dormir.

L unica cosa che non mi piaciuta è che ,mi abbiano comunque fatto pagare per il check in ritardato nonostante fosse dovuto ad un ritardo dell aereo, quindi non dovuto da noi. Ovviamente ne eravamo a conoscenza..ma nonostante tutto è andato tutto bene, lo consiglio!

I found the place to be very clean and spacious which I really enjoyed. The location is good, a few cafes near by but if you are older, it will be a challenge getting to and from the tourist district as this place sits on top of a steep ascent. I had no issues but some may. The place is awesome and I felt safe. I would recommend.

We really enjoyed the enclosed courtyard area and them accommodating our family with a ground floor unit. We had lots of baby supplies to bring.

El trato de las personas que trabajan en la recepción fue excelente. El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado. La habitación era muy completa, para una estancia muy cómoda. En general, una experiencia muy buena, repetiríamos.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Fräulein der Rezeption sind nett und hilfsbereit. Die Appartements sind aber unterschiedlich. Wir hatten zwei Appartements gebucht. Das eine war sehr vornehm und lag in einem oberen Stock: schöne Möbel, hell, Balkon. Mein Appartement war im Erdgeschoss (Vorteil: keine Treppen) - aber es waren einfache Möbel und eben mit wenig Tageslicht. Das war aber schon in Ordnung - hätte mir dann aber einen anderen Preis gewünscht. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich. Klimaanlagen waren vorhanden - somit war alles gut.

Mentre si fa la doccia si può tenere acceso un solo condizionatore per motivi di kW e con più di 40º può essere un problema.

Abbiamo apprezzato tutto: posizione perfetta per visitare la città a piedi. Struttura confortevole e molto pulita. servizio impeccabile e grande disponibilità... consigliatissimo!

W cenie nie były wliczone śniadania. Codzienna troska o czystość apartamentu i dostarczanie podstawowych środków higieny (papier toaletowy, szampon do włosów, żele pod prysznic). Apartament posiadał aneks kuchenny, lodówkę, pralkę, taras. Świetna baza do wypadów poza Katanię, np. Taoramina, Etna, Syrakuzy - dobrze skomunikowane miejscowości/miejsca

Sehr geräumiges Apartment mit nettem Balkon und traumhafter Aussicht über die Dächer Catanias. Auch die Lage ist super, sofern man kein Problem damit hat, bergauf zu gehen (weil Lage auf einem kleinen Hügel).

Das Bad ist nicht mehr das Neueste und die Dusche könnte bald mal renoviert werden. War dennoch alles sehr sauber.

Die Unterkunft war super. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, und es gibt sogar eine Waschmaschine. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen

Das Schlafen auf dem unbequemen Sofa war zunächst nicht so angenehm, aber wir haben es dann so gelöst, dass wir die Matratze ins Schlafzimmer gelegt haben, und danach war alles in Ordnung. :-)

Struttura al centro di Catania. Ottimo punto per visitare l’intero centro storico a piedi senza usare l’auto, parcheggio su strada (gratuito) sempre trovato sulla via adiacente.

Świetna lokalizacja, wszędzie blisko spacerem, w pobliżu kilka lokalnych knajp, bez tłumów, lokalny klimat, zawsze było miejsce. Apartament był bardzo czysty, dużo udogodnień typu zmywarka, pralka. Obsługa bardzo miła, bez problemu po angielsku można było się dogadać. Sporo miejsc parkingowych w okolicy na pobliskich ulicach. Bardzo polecam!

Me hubiera gustado que tuviera un microondas. El resto todo genial.

La struttura è pulita, accogliente, dotata di tutti i confort ed è situata in posizione centralissima per girare Catania. I proprietari sono persone meravigliose, gentili, disponibili e ospitali. Siamo stati qui 6 notti con il nostro cane e siamo stati benissimo. Struttura assolutamente per friendly. Lo staff è stato sempre cordiale e sempre sorridente. Insomma, Dimora De Mauro consigliatissima!

La struttura era a due passi dal centro, comoda e tranquilla. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile. L’appartamento con Internet superveloce, aria condizionata e bagno grande. Ottima struttura per smart working.

Posizione comoda, contesto generalmente protetto all'interno di un cortile completamente dedicato al pernottamento. Appartamento ampio.

L'appartamento si trova al piano terra, quasi completamente senza finestre. Le ante che danno sul cortile sono opacizzate, per cui entra al più una luce soffusa, mentre la camera possiede una bocca di lupo su una strada alberata, anch'essa buia. Il bagno non possiede il piatto doccia, per cui quando ci si lava occorre compartimentare bene gli spazi per evitare di dover navigare quando poi, dopo, si usa il wc.

Bij het balkon zit een rooster waar warme lucht uitkwam. Was soms wel een beetje te warm in combinatie met het weer.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno piacevole. L’appartamento era pulito e aveva tutto il necessario per sentirsi a proprio agio, compresa la lavatrice, che è stata molto utile. La posizione è abbastanza centrale e comoda per raggiungere i principali punti di interesse. L’host è stata molto gentile, disponibile e sempre pronta ad aiutarci. Lo consiglio a chi cerca una sistemazione pratica e confortevole.

il proprietario, gentilissimo, ci aveva dato la possibilità di fare un check-in di notte perché arrivavamo con un volo oltre la mezzanotte.. mi ha contattato in anticipo per assicurasi di avere tutte le informazione. .purtroppo l'aeroporto chiuso per cenere ci ha fatto arrivare solo la mattina dopo.. la stanza da letto era veramente enorme, con posto per 4 persone. la struttura è molto bella

Il mio appartamento era luminoso e spazioso. Posizione molto comoda per le mie esigenze (vicino all’università). Appartamento ben pulito. Carino il cortile all’entrata.

Struttura 4 stelle ma in realtà è un 3 stelle a malapena. Arredamento datato e essenziale. Il bagno non ha il bidet ma una doccetta che perde acqua (la mia era così) e con molto calcare. La doccia non ha il piatto doccia quindi il bagno si allaga. Il letto non era affatto confortevole.

Súper espacioso (ojo con la ducha, es lo único extremadamente chico), muy bien ubicado, de noche no se escucha un solo ruido, el personal súper atento y simpático.

Keuken was karig qua spullen. Geen koffieapparaat, geen wijnglazen, weinig water in koelkast. Douche bijna in toilet of de toilet in de douche. Vind het niet 75,00 per nacht waard . Ip de slaapbank schijnt in de vroege ochtend de zon recht in je gezicht. Wifi moeilijk in te stellen .

Pas de petit déjeuner contrairement à ce qui est dit sur booking et pas de parking contrairement à ce aui est dit sur booking. Il y a un parking à 8 mn à pied 3.5 E la.nuit dee 20 h à 8h

La habitación en general estaba bien. Tenia una cocina de una parte al entrar y la otra con un pequeño sofá para ver la TV. Luego un pasillo pequeño que llevaba al baño y enfrente el dormitorio. El acceso a la habitación estaba en un patio con mesas y sillas. Había una recepción con personal muy amable que nos atendió cuando necesitamos su ayuda.

Aunque el cuarto de baño era grande su construcción era bastante mejorable. La ducha era un apartado con una cortina de tela, sin plato de ducha ni bañera sino el mismo suelo con su desagüe y una pequeña plataforma de madera encima. Y aunque la ubicación era bastante buena lo peor fue que la calle era empinada.

Een fijn ruim appartement met wasmachine aan een rustige binnenplaats. Centrale ligging in de stad. Parkeren op straat was prima. En goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Wij komen graag nog een keer terug.

The location is perfect within walking distance of the central area and great restaurants. Check-in and check-out processes were seamless.

It would be nice if there was a kettle and a mirror in the bedroom not only the bathroom.

Per chi si muove a piedi c’è una tratto da fare in salita, ma fattibile se si ama camminare. Potrei giusto consigliare includere dell’acqua fresca in frigo. Sarebbe cosa molto gradita.

Nos pusieron en un apartamento de dos habitaciones y dos baños que no necesitábamos, arriba del todo por escaleras, cuando se notaba que estaba casi vacío. El apartamento es muy grande, pero desangelado y poco cómodo. La televisión no funciona, la ducha es pequeñísima... No es cuatro estrellas ni de casualidad. La chica que atendía no tenía mucha disposición a ayudar.

El apartamento era muy espacioso. Relativamente, bien ubicado. Casi muy bien equipado.

Para ser un departamento para turistas debería haber contado con un microondas y calentador de agua eléctrico, es mas practico que la cocina eléctrica que había. La ducha muy pequeña. Estaba en un 1er piso y había que subir por escaleras.

Great location — it's close to the city center and within walking distance to many places. We were also able to find parking nearby without too much trouble. The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The reception staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated that they stored our luggage after check-out, which made our trip much more convenient.

the windows were quite small, so the room felt a bit dark during the day.

Rooms were spacious, well equipped and quiet. Location was in historic centre near the monnastry at the top of a hill with many wine bars and restaurants nearby - a 10 minute walk to the tourist centre (fish market, duomo). I was a bonus having a washing machine in the bathroom.

While generally clean there were a couple of places which were quite dusty - the staff were quick to remedy these areas.
