Lovely small hotel which is run like clockwork in a discreet and friendly way. All staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, breakfasts are delicious. & very good value, all food freshly prepared & is brought to your table. Gluten free choices are not only available, extra treats were also provided. Diner in the restaurant is also very good.

Un petit bémol sur la climatisation dans le séjour, beaucoup trop bruyante, le bloc étant rattaché au mur du balcon adjacent au séjour, ce qui avait aussi pour effet de générer beaucoup de chaleur sur cette terrasse.

The facilities looked much more modern in the photos than they actually were. This might be a good place for elderly people, but not for young people. And the food was not good! We probably had the worst eggs for breakfast ever. They were swimming in a pool of oil. When we asked for another serving, the girl who was serving us relayed the kitchen’s response: the eggs had to be cooked with that much oil, otherwise, they would stick to the pan. Like, WTF? We were paying a lot of money for each night, and they couldn’t even provide decent pans? They seriously need to invest in some good-quality cookware!

The stunning views! The wonderfully spacious and comfortable apartment with the Spinalonga suite, the private pool! The food was also terrific, the breakfast was consistently fantastic. The staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating, and they seemed to have a consistent return of familiar faces who were greeted like old friends.

In order to get to those stunning views you do have to scale that steep hill, which after dinner and drinks was a strong effort!

Everything was perfect! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a stunning view. The breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jams and desserts. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

The panoramic view from the pool and room was exceptional. The excursions that we went on as recommended by some of the staff were all excellent, and they helped with booking everything. The breakfast in particular was even better than we were expecting and we felt as though the staff went above and beyond at every opportunity. The Greek club sandwich on the lunch menu was absolutely fantastic (as was everything else we tried).

We had such a lovely stay and left with genuinely warm memories of both the place and the people. The hotel sits high on the hill, with a beautiful panoramic view over the town and the sea. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was wonderful. Ritsa welcomed us warmly, showed us around and made us feel at home straight away. Natalia and Kostas are incredibly kind and attentive hosts. They create such an open, relaxed atmosphere that you always feel comfortable asking for help. During our stay they helped us more than once, from a small first-aid situation to rescuing us when we forgot the PIN for the safe. Sorry about that :) It is these little things that make you feel genuinely looked after. We stayed in the Spinalonga room, which had just opened. Natalia designed it herself, and it shows: everything feels thoughtfully planned, practical and exactly where you need it. The absolute star is the private pool and its fantastic view. Easily the best private pool we have experienced so far. With no neighbours above and a proper partition on the side, it truly feels private. Walking down into town is easy. It is small, but full of great restaurants, beautiful views and lovely people. The only warning: walking back uphill after a big dinner is definitely a challenge! :) The hotel itself has a cosy, peaceful atmosphere, with a pool bar for food, drinks, sunbathing and the main pool. Breakfast follows the same menu each morning, with an additional homemade sweet or savoury treat. We loved the location, the room, the view, the food, the calm atmosphere, and most of all how genuinely kind and helpful everyone was. Thank you, Natalia, Kostas, Ritsa and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We would be very happy to come back.

We booker the Spinalonga Suite for 2 nights and the View was absolutely stunning. It’s pricey but definitely worth the experience once in your life. It’s a family hotel and the quality of services is exceptional : everyone is super nice, landlords very reactive and you have a lot of privacy.

The hotel is absolutely amazing, but if you can afford I would recommend booking the Mirabello or Spinalonga suites as they are better value for money.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel overlooking the stunning bay. We had a fantastic time: the hosts and all staff are lovely, they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Breakfast is plentiful and includes lots of delicious products and homemade pastries/cakes. The restaurant is gorgeous, very relaxing and the chef makes a different specialty every night. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the lovely east part of Crete. We also benefited from lots of great suggestions about places to see in Crete! We’ll definitely come back!

Siamo tornati per il secondo anno consecutivo in questa struttura. Non lo avevamo mai fatto prima, basta questo. Menzione particolare per la qualità del sonno e della colazione.

Niente. Una sola avvertenza la struttura si trova in una posizione molto panoramica in cima ad una salita molto ripida.

Eine sehr schöne kleine Hotelanlage über Elounda, toller Blick auf die Bucht. In die Stadt runter führt ein sehr steiler Weg, den man dann auch wieder hoch muss. Da hat man gleich wieder ein paar Kalorien verbraucht. Zimmer mit kleiner Küche, Leitungswasser ist trinkbar, Toilettenpapier kann in die Toilette und nicht, wie überall üblich, in einem Eimer daneben und sehr sauber (Zimmer wurde während man gefrühstückt hat schon still und heimlich gereinigt). Alle unheimlich freundlich. Frühstück ist à la carte, was wir sehr angenehm fanden. Dazu jeden Tag noch extra selbstgemachte Kleinigkeiten. Es gibt auch ein Restaurant, was wir während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht genutzt haben.

Magnifique hôtel situé à seulement 5 minutes à pied du centre-ville d’Elounda. L’hôtel est très calme et familial, avec une superbe piscine et un cadre vraiment reposant. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et aux petits soins. Le restaurant est également excellent, avec de très bons plats. Un endroit parfait pour profiter d’Elounda au calme, tout en étant proche du centre-ville. Nous avons adoré notre séjour !

The property is very nice and peaceful. The pool area is lovely and overlooks the coast, with a fantastic view. We had breakfast in the morning, and it was absolutely delicious. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the facilities are excellent, and the staff are lovely and welcoming. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and should we find ourselves in Elounda again, we will definitely return. You really do get that deluxe feeling here!

No fault of the owners or the property, but when people say the hill is steep, believe them! It’s nothing impossible, but it can definitely be challenging, especially in the heat.

Kadangi mes esame aktyvaus poilsio mėgėjai, kasdieninis grįžimas į viešbutį (kopimas į kalną) po vakarinio pasivaikščiojimo mums labai tiko ir patiko. Nemėgstantiems įveikti kalno po dienos poilsio - jokios bėdos - miesto taksi visda pasiruošę padėti. Pusryčiai nėra gausūs, bet pakankami ir kokybiški. Mandagus aptarnavimas, toks, kokio ir tikiesi viešbutyje sikrtame tik suaugusiems.

Vienintelis dalykas, kurio šiek tiek pritrūko – norėtųsi, kad baseinu būtų galima pasimėgauti ir grįžus iš miesto vėliau. Būtų smagu, jei baseinas veiktų bent iki 21 val. – po dienos išvykų tai būtų puiki proga atsipalaiduoti ir atsigaivinti

Het was echt geweldig De locatie erg mooi. We hadden een kamer met fantastisch uitzicht. Erg schoon en mooi ingericht. Heerlijke bedden. Vers water uit de kraan. Mooi zwembad en mooi aangekleed met bomen, planten en bloemen. Ontbijt was heerlijk. Volop verse producten. Personeel allemaal erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We hebben ons echt heel welkom gevoelt.

Das Hotel liegt oberhalb von Elounda. Die An- und Abfahrt ist nichts für schwache Motoren. Zu Fuss zum Hafen und zu den Restaurants erfordert durchaus Kondition. Das muss man wissen.

לא אהבנו שהמנע של המזגנים היה במרפסת שלנו. כך שכדיי להנות מהישיבה במרפסת נאלצנו לכבות את המזגנים.

We really loved our stay! Staff were all lovely, the hotel is quiet, well kept and lovely atmosphere. The pool was a godsend as the weather was very hot, having the poolside snack bar was perfect with really attentive, friendly staff. There were lots of pool loungers around the main pool and it never felt too busy or noisy with other guests, everyone seems to be on the same wavelength and wanted to relax, so no loud/party vibes, just chilled music playing quietly as you sunbathe or swim. The pool itself was great, was really deep in places and you were able to swim lengths and chill - again the pool was never too busy so you could always enjoy it without feeling on top of other guests. Our room had an amazing view of the sea, surrounding mountain ranges and islands. Even with our suite being in relatively close proximity to the pool there was never any loud guests or noises which really helped create a tranquil environment. Each day the room was cleaned with the option for fresh room towels. Small touches like the guest mobile app for communications during the stay, lovely complimentary hotel tote bag, fresh pool towels, spare suncream by the pool helped add to the warm atmosphere. Lastly, we were also celebrating our anniversary which we briefly mentioned on check-in and were surprised with a beautiful bottle of wine by the staff as a gift. This was really unexpected surprise and we were really touched by this.

We REALLY loved our stay so these next two points are more small details to share and don’t take away from our time spent at Elounda Heights: One SMALL thing was that the shower cubicle in the room was a bit narrow/tight. As both myself and my partner are quite tall, we were either hitting our head on the window which we kept open for ventilation or hitting the tap as you turned around while washing your hair. Small detail but thought it was worth mentioning as perhaps changing the tap to a twist/alternative style could help to create a little more space for tall or curvaceous guests. Otherwise it was still a really beautiful room and bathroom so no other complaints. This is point is more about the location and not to do with the hotel itself: The hotel is on a really steep hill, we are quite fit and healthy but don’t drive, so initially it was a bit of a challenge to walk up and down each day (particularly on a hot afternoon). It was a good way to walk off the dinner and get your daily steps, and we just about got used to it towards the end of the trip. But I would say if you are not physically able to walk up steep hills to catch a taxi or hire a car to help here.

The attention to detail from the home made breakfast which include cakes ,jams ,biscuits all made by Natalia and her amazing team to the evening meals. We have already booked for next year. De eigenaars van dit hotel waren fantastisch. Ze hadden veel tips en waren heel behulpzaam. We hadden een Spinalonga bungalow. Deze was net nieuw en was heel erg fijn. Het uitzicht was geweldig (vanaf terras maar ook vanaf het bed). Het bed was zeer goed en alles was schoon, netjes en goed in orde. Het was ook erg stil wat heerlijk was. Het was ook heel fijn dat het hotel op loopafstand van het stadje ligt waar je keuze hebt uit veel restaurantjes.

Het hotel zelf was perfect. Wat een beetje tegenviel was het plaatsje Elounda zelf. Het was klein en deed een beetje vervallen aan. Er was ook niet echt een mooi strand dichtbij.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The pool was a great size and deep enough to enjoy a proper swim, which was a real highlight. The grounds are well maintained and pleasant to walk around. Having a restaurant on site was very convenient, especially if you don't feel like going out. The views from the hotel are beautiful and really add to the overall experience. The cleaners were really lovely and friendly.

The pool bar lacked atmosphere, and as breakfast is served around the pool, it didn't feel comfortable having a morning swim. We were given a room with very little privacy, as guests were constantly walking past and the sun loungers were right by the pathway. "laundry facilities are available", usually for the price you would get a washing machine in the room but there was 1 washing machine to share in a shed for everyone which was a little inconvenient. "coffee machine" is apparently found in the room but not our room. Also we didn't get our instant coffee topped up for our last night. We went to town for breakfast for a more authentic experience. The walk back from town is up a steep hill, and our dinner at the hotel was disappointing—the T-bone steak was very thin and overcooked. The Greek salad had lettuce and carrot in. The bedding also looked off-white rather than fresh. The hotel had a very quiet atmosphere, with most guests appearing to be over 60. Overall, it wasn't our favourite place in Crete, and there are better-value hotels nearby offering a similar experience.

Bed comfortable, spacious balcony, great views. Ask Kostas (owner) for car rental, he gives a good deal better than local car rental. Natalia and Kostas and everyone else from staff are great and very helpful.

Breakfast has only few options. Dinner didn’t meet our expectations, the food was below average and tasteless. The hill that almost every guest mentions, it’s truly challenging even for fit people. The hotel doesn’t have anything to eat or drink after 10PM. Perhaps a vending machine would help the guests.

Fabulous breakfast. Exceptional. Lovely pool bar and onsite restaurant. Food gorgeous. Accommodation was just beautiful and to wake up in the morning and to be able to see the mountains and sea from your bed through the patio doors was breathtaking. Everything so clean and tidy. The additional pool for our Mirabello suites was a fabulous bonus. Lots of sun-beds too. Owners and team exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Setting so tranquil. Stunning views all around. Beautiful setting. Harbour full of lovely restaurants and taverns. Fabulous food and very reasonably priced too. Everywhere so friendly. Free parking such a bonus.

The hill down to the gorgeous town is rather steep but we did get use to it after day 2 and a taxi back up from harbour was only €6 if you didn’t fancy the 5 min climb back up. Lots of taxis in town.

Le personnel est très sympathique. La vue magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est top avec la directrice très sympathique qui parle français. La piscine est agréable. Pas de problème pour se garer.

Rien a dire sauf que l'on voit que notre studio a déjà de nombreuses années.

This is a family run place that does 5 star quality! Unbelievable staff that couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable, great food available all day and evening. We were in a brand new junior suite which had pool shared with only 6 other rooms so was always quiet. The walk into town took minutes. Kostas had just launched an App which meant you could get lots of info about the hotel and local area and best of all could WhatsApp the team easily who always replied within minutes. A brilliant holiday, thank you to Natlalie, Kostas as all of their team.

Tout était parfait merci infiniment pour tout. Le déjeuner était plus qu’incroyable, autant sur la qualité que la quantité. Le restaurant était si bon aussi ! J’ai vraiment rien à redire à part merci x100, et d’une gentillesse et d’un accueil tellement chaleureux. impossible de pas s’y sentir bien. Merci encore j’espère revenir !

הצוות ממש מקסים , מלון משפחתי שיושב מעל העיר עם נוף מדהים. החדר גדול ונקי.

לקח זמן למצוא את הפנייה למלון. אבל התקשורת היתה מצויינת והם ליוו אותנו טלפונית עד ההגעה.

Super fantastisk lækker ny lejlighed med en fantastisk “dele” pool med 4 andre værelser. Super poolbar hvor man også spiste den meste lækre hjemmelavede morgenmad. Personalet var alle fantastiske og fik dig til at føle du var i centrum.

Jeg må sige at beliggenheden har den mest fantastiske udsigt og vand og by, men turen på gå ben ned og op ad var ret hårdt for et par i 60’erne.

Lite väsen från poolområdet då personalen ställer i ordning inför dagen/ frukost samt när någon satte på en tvättmaskin tidigt på morgonen 6.30. Skulle varit skönt med skugga över bilparkeringen. Behöver städas i gymmet och en del utrustning borde bytas ut.

My stay at Elounda Heights was just PERFECT ! The location just above the town provided that extra tranquility and stunning views. The hospitality was outstanding. The room spacious, attention paid to details in the design, wonderful balconies and views ( the most stunning sunrise seen from the bed!, comfortable bed . The pool area and pool beautiful. Truly exceeded expectations. The location for me was excellent - enabling day trips to villages and visiting other bays, as well as local walks around the area and Kolokytha Peninsula. I hope I have the opportunity to return - and soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Ha sido una experiencia muy espectacular. Los desayunos son increíbles, todo es casero y está buenísimo. Las vistas son también espectaculares,se observa todo el mar y el pueblo de Elounda. Por otro lado está bien comunicado con otras zonas. Los anfitriones encantadores. 10/10

De locatie was in een uithoek van kreta van waaruit we verschillende prachtige uitstappen konden maken en zo een weinig toeristisch Kreta konden zien. Het hotel hadeen prachtig uitzicht Vanuit het hotel liepen we in enkele minuten naar het plaatsje Elounda wat erg gezellig was. Het hotel had een prima zwembad. Het ontbijt was erg lekker en zeer gezond en werd ter plekke verzorgd.

Eigenlijk niet. Misschien dat de fitness niet veel voorstelde.

We had a perfect stay in one of the Spinalonga suites. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We loved the library of books and also made use of the gym. The varied selection of homemade treats at breakfast was fun to try each morning. It was a fantastic babymoon/anniversary with our private pool looking out over the ocean. A very special trip.

The walk up the hill from the town centre was a bit rough but we knew about it in advance. There is some parking in town near the beach if you are renting a car (which we weren’t).

Kostas & Natalia sont des hôtes dynamiques. Leur hôtel est vraiment magnifique sur les hauteurs Elounda. La piscine et son bar vous permettront de pouvoir petit déjeuner avec des confitures maison (kakis & pamplemousse) et prendre une boisson ou plus si vous avez une petite faim dans la journée. Pour le dîner, vous pourrez déguster les inspirations du chef, agrémentées d’un verre de très bon vin. Tout est délicieux sur leur carte. Il y a une superbe roseraie. Que du bonheur dans cette très grande maison.

Une nuit c’est vraiment trop court pour pouvoir profiter totalement de cette hôtel. Nous reviendrons très bientôt plus longuement
