Booking.com location was 4km away. I walked with bags 500m hoping to see. Hotel gave me correct location but no nameboard except on corridor. Best give the location as the mane of the pharmacy in front. Future trips will not have the confusion.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Eu gostei de tudo, eles foram Exelentes, estavam nos esperando no aeroporto, e me ofereceram um serviço de transporte depois pro meu próximo destino, recomendo muito, me hospedarei de novo com certeza, eu fui recebida com um delicioso suco de laranja, o quarto estava extremamente limpo, tinha chaleira elétrica, fogão, panelas, eu me atrasei um Pouco para o Chek out e ele foram bem flexíveis, autamente recomendo

Staff seamed almost annoyed but your presence. Shuttle driver to the airport tried to get me to go hours earlier just to sit and wait for the gate to open, so I said naw you’ll take me 3 hours before the flight.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026We stayed one night at Sebastian Transit Katunayake before an early flight, and we were genuinely pleasantly surprised. The free airport pickup is a real game-changer — no stress, no taxi haggling, you're picked up right at the terminal. The welcome at reception was warm and attentive, which sets a great tone straight away. The hotel sits in a lively commercial area with plenty of shops all around, and just 900 metres away there's a train station with direct connections to Colombo and Ramana — from where you can reach virtually anywhere in Sri Lanka. Ideal if you're continuing your journey by rail. All in all, exactly what a transit hotel should be: friendly, well-located, and hassle-free. Perfect for a one-night stopover. We'd stay again without hesitation.
On the downside, the room window faces an interior corridor rather than the outside, so don't expect natural light or a view. The kitchen also came without any utensils for cooking — though in fairness, we never asked the staff, and we suspect they would have sorted something out had we done so

Die Beschilderung war unauffällig, die enge Gasse leicht übersehbar.

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Hele mooie, grote kamer vlak bij het vliegveld. Ook heel dicht bij Tuktukrental.com dus perfect als je nog even een nachtje ervoor wilt slapen. Ook werden we heel lief ontvangen en keurig opgehaald vanaf het vliegveld. Echt perfect voor je eerste nacht in Sri Lanka.
Helaas deed zowel de airco als de waaier het niet

No reserven aquí!! Nos dieron una habitación que ni aparecía en las fotos, con humedades, una cucaracha muerta debajo de la cama. Les escribí porque el colchón te clavas todos los muelles y aparecieron 4 personas aporreando la puerta, que entraron y empezaron a mover el colchón para girar las tablas de madera de abajo (sin preguntar nada) como si eso fuese a solucionar el problema de los muelles..en fin de las peores experiencias en un alojamiento que he tenido nunca.

Can’t really fault it due to the value for money, but if you are wanting to sleep in the day before a flight - bring earplugs as it’s off of a busy road.

Reviewed Mar 4, 2026Très proche de l'aéroport avec une navette gratuite à l'arrivée ou au retour, c'est l'idéal. La dame qui gère l'établissement est très serviable, elle nous a aidé à réserver un bus AC pour Anaradhapura. L'arrêt était à 50m du logement, parfait. Merci.
Les environs sont bruyants, mais en arrivant ou en repartant du SriLanka c'est le lieu idéal.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026Wir waren nur eine Nacht vor unserem Flug in der Unterkunft. Praktisch dank der Nähe zum Flughafen, jedoch - wie erwartet gibt es in nächster Nähe nichts spannendes. Für Restaurants muss man nach Negombo fahren, erreicht man mit dem Bus in 15minuten.
Unser Appartment hat ein bisschen schlecht gerochen, wir mussten also zuerst alle Ventilatoren anschalten.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025El dueño era muy agradable y nos recogió gratuitamente en el aeropuerto. La relación calidad precio muy buena y la ubicación resultó perfecta, porque está muy cerca del aeropuerto y a dos minutos andando de Tuktukrental.com, donde teníamos que recoger nuestro tuk tuk.
No es un lugar para pasar más de una noche, como escala del aeropuerto, porque hay bastante ruido de tráfico.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2025Siamo stati accolti benissimo fin dal primo momento: l’host è venuto a prenderci all’aeroporto al mattino presto e si è occupato anche di organizzare il nostro trasferimento verso la prossima destinazione. Ci siamo fermati nella struttura per poche ore. La casa è ben collegata, funzionale e dotata di tutto il necessario. Tranquilla, pulita e perfetta per un soggiorno comodo e veloce. Un’esperienza semplice ma davvero ben gestita, con un’ospitalità impeccabile.

W nocy było gorąco, klimatyzacja i wiatrak były dostępne ale momentami było głośno lub za zimno.

A nice beach restaurant within 7 mins walking distance (LKR 1000 for swimming there) - or arrange for a simple dinner at "The Table" next door which is associated with the accomodation.
Don't expect daylight but as an accommodation before flight departure adequate. Noise due to aircrafts, of course, so close to the airport but also significant traffic noises from the main road. Better after 10 p.m.
