Das Lieblingsquartier ist eine besonderes schöne Unterkunft, in hervorragender Lage, sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung und sehr nette Gastgeber, wirklich zum Wohlfühlen.

Frühstück wird leider nicht angeboten aber man kann selbst etwas zubereiten. Check-out um 10:00 ist ein bisschen sehr früh 🙁

We had a very pleasant stay in St. Gilgen. The location is excellent — close to a supermarket and within easy walking distance of the cable car, which was very convenient with children. It was also a great base for exploring the area, with easy access to many different day trips and attractions around the Wolfgangsee and Salzkammergut region. A very convenient location for a family stay, especially if you’re planning to explore the surrounding area by car while also having useful amenities and activities nearby.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, die Küche bestens ausgestattet,alles sauber, ein schöner großer Balkon mit Blick auf den Wolfgangsee. Viel Platz für einen Hund, viele Möglichkeiten zum Gassi gehen. Fünf Minuten entfernt befinden sich Supermärkte. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Parkplätze direkt vor der Unterkunft. Wenn wir nochmal in der Gegend sind würden wie definitiv wieder buchen.

Es könnte vielleicht ein Blickschutz am Badfenster angebracht werden. Es hätte mehr Auswahl an Früchten geben können, bei unserem Aufenthalt gab es nur Äpfel.

It was fully equipped (from cooking oil to bin bags to cooking foil); comfortable bedding. Fantastic warm swimming pool!

No air conditioning (even though its not in the description, it was really hot during heating wave); no laundry possibility (we stayed for 8 nights, once owner agreed to help with laundry, for the second time - got angry at us for asking); no cleaning service during the weekend (even though its not stated anywhere that we cannot ask for cleaning during the weekends). The guy expressedly showed when he was not happy about our requests for cleaning or laundry. The promised fruits meant a few apples standing there for a week which ended up with 1 lonely apple. So this is really an overpromise. Its far from the town/lake. You need to drive and parking is an issue in the town.

Prachtig verblijf met een mooi uitzicht over de Wolfgangsee. St. Gilgen is een gezellig dorpje en zwemmen in de Wolfgangsee is zeker een aanrader. Het appartement zelf is mooi en erg netjes. Het balkon is een fijne plek om ’s ochtends te ontbijten of ’s avonds nog een drankje te doen. De gedeelde koelkast is handig en er zijn ook borden, bestek en glazen aanwezig. Op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen zit een SPAR waar je ’s ochtends o.a. verse broodjes kunt halen. Het centrum van St. Gilgen en de Wolfgangsee is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen. Ook is het erg handig dat je vanaf het verblijf in ongeveer 45 minuten gratis met bus 150 naar Salzburg kunt. Het contact met de beheerders verliep prettig en soepel. We hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad!

The area

Excellente localisation et chambre confortable, bien climatisée. La petite piscine est très agréable.

Lovely view of the lake. Rooms were all a good size, nice bathroom. Swimming pool was perfect for our kids. Nice location, in a nice area. 15 minute walk to the lake and centre. (Uphill on the walk back - but that gives you the nice view) Parking available, 2 supermarkets less than 5 minute walk. Kitchen compact but had everything we needed.

It was unusually hot and humid whilst we stayed here, a fan for the bedroom might have helped.

Der Balkon war sehr groß und das Bad wirklich schön. Auch das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet. Ebenfalls praktisch ist der Parkplatz vorm Haus.

Leider keine Klimaanlage. An sich hätte ich die auch nicht vermisst, wenn der Sommer dieses Jahr /2026/ nicht so heiß wäre.

Nice location and nice swimming pool, very nice view from the balcony

It was not perfectly clean and even though it is offered as an apartment for 3 people, it is rather for 2 people only. Only 2 chairs at the table, very small bathroom, the sofa in the living space is not really comfortable for sleeping, not even for a child. There is no air-condition so it could get quite hot on a summer day.

Ruhige Lage, beheizbarer Außenpool, moderne und gut ausgestattete Wohnung, netter Vermieter, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten um die Ecke, Ortszentrum schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Zimmer und die Nasszelle waren sehr sauber. Der Balkon für Zimmer Nr. 6 war grosszügig und die Aussicht in die Berge sehr schön. Wir konnten unser E-Auto aufladen. Herzlichen Dank für die unkomplizierte Betreuung bei Fragen. Diese Unterkunft können wir gerne weiter empfehlen.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, alles gut durchdacht. Toller See-und Bergblick. Entfernung zum Centrum gut zu erreichen. Toller Pool , rundherum Wohlfühlquartier.

View from the balcony over the lake. 10 minute walk to St Gilgen centre for excellent cakes coffee and then evenings for traditional Austrian meal at Wirt am Gries.

It’s not exactly room with lake view. Also no microwave and internet was spotty. Guidelines to connect to WiFi should be provided in English

Tolle Lage,die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet. Danke an den Gastgeber Philipp der von früh bis abends um die Gäste bemüht war.

Everything was perfect. NIce and helpful owner Phillip. Tastefully equipped apartment on the ground floor with exact entry to shadowed terrace and beautiful garden with covered swimming pool. Parking place in the garden. Stunning views on mountains from every window, terrace, deckchairs, swimming pool with warm water. Nice little kitchen, dishwasher, coffee machine on capsules (Nespresso and others), toaster, cooking stove with oven. Spar supermarket under the hill 200 m from the house. Nice little path through the meadow to the beach, center of the town and a little harbour from which you can go by ship to other beautiful places placed around the lake Wolfgangsee. Many good restaurants in the town. Plenty places to go and admire. The water in the lake is of incredible turquoise colour.

Perfect place to relax with mountain and lake views. Large terrace, coffee and tea in the room. You can use the fridge which is located in the hall.

Nothing at all. You need to walk for about 10 min to the centre of the village which is not a problem for us.

Przepiękny ze wszystkim co potrzebowaliśmy, czysty, kuchnia w pełni wyposażona, łazienka bardzo ładna, łóżko bardzo wygodne. A taras to wisienka na torcie widok na jezioro i góry .Blisko miasta parking na auto pod domem. Spędziliśmy wspaniały urlop. POLECAMY !!! Dajemy nie 10 ale 20 punktów.

Schöne Wohnung in schöner Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sicherlich wieder.

Krasné ubytování v blízkosti centra městečka. Apartmán byl čistý a skvěle vybavený, nic nám nechybělo. Předání klíčů bylo jednoduché, při odjezdu nám byl nabídnut i pozdější check out zdarma.

schönes modern eingerichtetes Apartment mit großem Balkon in einer ruhigen Gegend mit wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge und den See. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kommen gerne wieder und würden es jedem empfehlen.

The room was bigger than expected. Beds were comfy. Nice view of the lake/mountains from our room too. There is a SPAR located nearby as well, so just a short walk to get groceries, baked goods for breakfast etc.

The nespresso machine in our room did not work. There was no elevator so it was a bit of an effort to get to our room with luggages. The hotel is located some distance from the town centre and it was on a little steep slope. So, abit of 'hiking' involved to walk back to the hotel from the town centre.

It was clean, secure, dog friendly (€30 for two nights) and a 10 minute walk to the town center (note it is a relatively sharp decline on the way there. Not a huge problem for us but something to consider). The host was friendly and prompt, offering to help us with our baggage. The view from the balcony was exceptional, especially for the price compared to other locations in the area. There’s also a self serve honesty bar with drinks and snacks available.

A couple of very minor complaints: 1. The walls were pretty thin. We happened to be staying with a large group in the adjoining rooms, and they were up until pretty late having a good time. We found it difficult to sleep the first night. 2. The incline wasn’t great walking back to the lodging at the end of the day, but it can’t be helped by the host.

Ein besonders geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtetes Apartment mit großer Terrasse und Pool im Garten. Das Apartment liegt in einem ruhigen Teil am Rande von St Gilgen. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle Aktivitäten rund um den Wolfgangsee. Man ist zu Fuß schnell beim Supermarkt, in der Stadt und am See. Wunderschönes Panorama auf die Stadt, den See und die Berge. Wir und unser Hund haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Totul exxelent: de la locatie, la confortul apartamentului complet utilat si pana la atentia si ospitalitatea gazdelor. Vom reveni aici!

The interior, furnitures, and overall vibe was great, the panorama was fantastic from room 8. The room was clean, and convenient, and the coffe machine was very much appreciated.

The sound insulation wasn't great between the rooms (there were 3 rooms in out floor), we could hear our neighbours with a kid waking up earlier than we preferred... At the end we had more time to spend in nature, so this was not a big issue for us. A minor improvement could be a sponge and kitchen towel to clean the coffee mugs, etc.

שהינו במקום במהלך הטיול שלנו בזלצבורג והחוויה הייתה פשוט מושלמת. הראשון שמרגישים הוא המיקום המעולה – שקט, נגיש, ועם נוף עוצר נשימה מהחלון ומהמרפסת. כל בוקר התעוררנו לנוף שלא רצינו לעזוב. המבנה עצמו מעוצב בטעם, משלב אסתטיקה מודרנית עם חמימות ביתית, והחדר שקיבלנו היה נקי, מרווח ומאובזר עד הפרט האחרון. היה ברור שהושקעה מחשבה בכל פרט קטן – החל מהמיטות הנוחות ועד האביזרים הקטנים שהופכים את השהות לנעימה באמת. בעל המקום היה נפלא, אדיב ומסביר פנים, תמיד זמין לכל שאלה ועם חיוך אמיתי שעושה חשק לחזור. כבר מהרגע הראשון הרגשנו כמו בבית. זה מסוג המקומות שגורמים להרגיש שהבחירה הייתה מושלמת – אווירה ביתית, נוחות, יופי ושירות מצוין. ללא ספק נחזור לכאן בביקור הבא בזלצבורג, וממליצים בחום לכל מי שמחפש מקום איכותי וייחודי.

Die Wohnung an sich war sehr schön und die Vermieter sind an sich auch bemüht.

Kommunikation war ein bisschen schwierig, weil Fragen nicht beantwortet wurden Ausstattung teilweise nicht ausreichend (z.B. nur 3 Müslischüsseln) Kochgeschirr und Kaffeegeschirr klebrig, vermutlich durch den nichtexistenten Dunstabzug - aber so mussten die Dinge zuerst von uns gewaschen werden Laden von E-Auto hat nur bedingt funktioniert (lag wahrscheinlich am Zusammenspiel von Wallbox und Auto), Wallbox hat sich immer wieder abgeschaltet und Auto hat dann nicht mehr geladen

Great view from the room, everything is very clean, room has everything you need. Refrigerated drinks, fruits and mini chocolates are a nice bonus. Very kind, non-complicating host.

Wir haben 4 Nächte mit unseren Hunden in einem hundefreundlichen Apartment verbracht. Das Apartment liegt in einem ruhigen Teil am Rande von St Gilgen, ideal für Hundebesitzer, da man in wenigen Minuten im Wald ist. Das Apartment war modern und gut ausgestattet mit einer großen Terrasse, im Sommer steht ein Pool im Garten zu Verfügung. Sehr nette Vermieter! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful view! The owner was helpful and we had everything we needed. There was a trailhead right up the street and the walk to the market and town was easy.

The bed was a bit hard and pillows quite soft.
