Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Very pretty location with a view of the lake. Everything pristinely maintained. Pretty dining room with and outdoor area. Really nice swimming pool. We had a room with a sitting area and a small balcony that looked out over the lake.
Sister wished there was AC.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026Location was perfect. It's a short walk to the lake and Sankt Gilgen. We had two rooms, one with a balcony. The beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The views from the third floor room were spectacular. There's no kettle though and I had to pay for hot water for a drink. A bit disappointing for the price. There is a fridge in the hall, we found useful for storing drinks etc . We were half board and the food was very good. Parking was plentiful. It's opposite a small supermarket for lunchtime snacks. The spa and swimming pool are lovely. Robes were provided.
It was very hot during our stay. Our ground room wasn't too hot but the third floor was very warm and only a fan is available to cool the room. The door to the balcony couldn't be opened due to the number of wasps in the eaves. I think the hotel needs to invest in air conditioning. We had a child in the room who slept on a very uncomfortable sofa bed. She stayed free but I wouldn't have been happy if we'd paid extra for her. The outside space was overrun with wasps, so many we couldn't sit outside. The hotel appeals to an older crowd, so was a bit quiet for us. Not the hotel's fault but I prefer a hotel with more mixed ages. It's expensive!

В номері дуже спекотно і душно. Не зручні подушки. Немає кондиціонера, немає холодильника, немає мінібара. Сніданки дуже скудні. Їсти практично немає нічого. О 9:30, вже все прибирають і ходиш просиш щоб принесли хочаб яйця.

פחות מתאים לילדים. מעבר לבריכה אין התיילסות בכלל. היציאה מהחניון לכביש מסוכנת מאוד. אין שדה ראייה לשמאל מה שכמעט וגרם לי להיות מעורב בתאונה. לצערי הדיווח לצוות הסתיים ב "זה פעם ראשונה שמישהו אומר את זה". אשמח לשלוח לצוות תמונה וסרטון כדי שיטפלו בנושא.

Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer zur Strassenseite (ohne Seeblick) war teilweise etwas laut, wenn man bei Sommertemperaturen mit offenem Fenster schlafen möchte.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by stunning scenery and in a very nice location. The lake is lovely, and the dinner buffet was also very good.
The hotel caters more to an older crowd and isn’t particularly kid-friendly. There is no fridge or kettle in the room. The bed was quite uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The biggest downside for us was the lack of air conditioning. It was really hot during our stay, and having AC would have made a huge difference.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Zeer vriendelijk personeel. De bedden en de slaapbank waren comfortabel. Het uitzicht is prachtig; het lijkt net een schilderij.(We hadden een superieur kamer met uitzicht op het meer) Ook de sauna en het zwembad waren prima. Het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en van goede kwaliteit. Het dinerbuffet hebben we alleen de eerste avond geprobeerd, omdat we de keuze wat beperkt vonden.
Bij aankomst troffen we op de vensterbanken, achter de slaapbank en in de badkamer meerdere dode insecten aan. Waarschijnlijk had de kamer enige tijd leeggestaan. Gelukkig was alles na de schoonmaak de volgende ochtend netjes verwijderd. Toch verwacht je bij een kamerprijs van meer dan €490 per nacht incl ontbijt dat de kamer bij aankomst volledig schoon is. Dit is zeker een aandachtspunt om te verbeteren.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026All the staff we interacted with were extremely kind and helpful. Reception, restaurant, housekeeping - everyone without an exception! We felt very welcome and valued. Whenever we wanted any information or recommendations, the receptionist was very helpful providing us very detailed information including her experience/preferences instead of just pointing us towards brochures. The owner is very involved in running the establishment and this clearly showed in the way the staff interacted with the guests. The breakfast was wonderful, it is a bit different from the typical breakfast buffet. We really enjoyed it. The view from the our room was really nice and the indoor swimming pool too was really nice. Convenient location as well, bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Can't recommend this place enough. Suggestions to travellers booking their stay here - spare enough time to walk around Wolfgangsee lake and St Gilgen village. Also walk along the lake to Furberg.

Єдиний маленький мінус але він не зіпсував загальне враження - друге ліжко в кімнаті скрипіло і було завузьким для двох. Але це не зіпсувало враження про це чудове місце.

There is no aircon in the rooms which meant my room was too hot during the day. This is understandable given there was a heatwave but I think considering it is a 4 star hotel, they should have aircon in the rooms.

Reviewed May 25, 2026The hotel is excellent, good food, good facilities, pleasant public areas, and a very kind staff. The service throughout the stay was good, and the daily housekeeping during the stay was excellent as well. Overall, I recommend the hotel, but I would avoid booking the cheapest room category. That seems to be where the gap between the room experience and the otherwise very high hotel standard becomes noticeable.
My issue was specifically with the room I booked. It was relatively spacious, but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. There was also no minibar/fridge or kettle. Not having a fridge in a hotel of this level was honestly surprising and inconvenient for me.

The service and the staff’s attitude toward guests who come there to relax were outstanding. One thing I especially appreciated was the trust and professionalism from the very beginning — they do not constantly charge you during your stay, and everything is simply settled at the end, which creates a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The view is absolutely beautiful, the location is perfect, and it genuinely feels very close to paradise in that region. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone seeking a peaceful, high-quality experience.

Oceňuji také vysokou úroveň čistoty ve všech prostorách hotelu i samotného apartmánu, který byl prostorný, komfortní a velmi příjemně vybavený. Velmi pozitivně hodnotím i gastronomii – kvalitní snídaně i celkovou úroveň restaurace. Pobyt na nás působil velmi příjemným a profesionálním dojmem a hotel bychom bez problémů doporučili dál.

It is a family-run hotel. I initially booked a single room but was given an extremely small room with no balcony or view, which felt more like a box than a proper room. When I asked if it was possible to move to a room with a view, I was told I would need to pay extra for an upgrade. I agreed because I didn’t want to spend the night in such a confined space, especially after already paying €126. What made this disappointing was that the hotel appeared to have only three or four guests at the time, so charging extra for the upgrade felt unnecessarily petty. Ironically, the upgraded room was still quite small. The hotel itself is quite old and dated. The bathroom and décor feel tired, and there is very little soundproofing — I could clearly hear conversations happening at reception from my room. The spa was also underwhelming. One of the rooms was not functional, and the steam room was barely warm. Overall, I feel I significantly overpaid for this stay. In my opinion, this property would be reasonable at around €80 per night, but certainly not the €150 I ended up paying. I wouldn’t recommend it at that price point.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Unser Kurzurlaub war sehr erholsam. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Das Hallenbad lädt von früh bis spät zur Bewegung ein und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
