Robert was very friendly and helpful. I loved that the hotel is a family run business. It was like staying in a home. The breakfast was delicious! I liked that the location was quiet and near the lake.

The manager is amazing. He takes pride in making your stay one of a kind.

Obsługa w hotelu bardzo miła i pomocna. Codziennie sprzątany pokój i śniadanie przygotowywane na świeżo przez personel. Super udogodnieniem były karty na autobus, którym można było dojechać do centrum Lucerny.

Location next to bus stop, free onsite parking, Luzern bus pass included, good fresh breakfast. This was my second stay. The owners are available onsite and nice gentlemen.

Hotel has no air-conditioning, the small table fan does not provide the needed cooling. With the change in europian weather with each summer hotter than before. These old hotels need to make this change. Luckily the weather improved from the second night onward for our stay. It's not value for money considering you don't get room amenities like a kettle or small fridge or in room ironning facility. At 200+ franc / night it's not value for money. And they charge 40 CHF/child /night extra. Book at least 3+ months ahead to get good rates. The reason for I booked this hotel were 2: a)they are out of Luzern center in a peaceful locality. b) lake Luzern was accessible on short walk. The second reason is gone now since that place is now closed off due to massive lake side mansions. There used to be an amazing peaceful shaded spot on lakeside to relax which is now part of private property. I am not likely to stay again at this property.

The service provided was emaculate. Everything was communicated professionally and clearly. Breakfast was amazing everyday. Recommended us amazing restaurants we loved. would go back to the same hotel if we ever visited again

I didnt like yhe check in time frame. It was communicated via email that if we wanted to check in outside of the check in window, we had to set up appointment which it recommend if you get their early.

Very quiet, helpful staff , very comfortable bed, easy access into Lucerne , very tasty continental breakfast with a great choice of cold cuts and an egg boiled to your liking .

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and the dining room was beautiful as well. Our room was very lovely and the location is perfect to swim in Lake Lucern in the mornings as well.

The shower space is small with the plastic shower curtain easily touching one’s body which is not very comfortable.

Hotel situated outside Lucerne but easily accessed by bus to the central of Lucerne in about 20 minutes. Lovely big room with a beautiful view of the lake.

Robert è un albergatore molto disponibile ed attento alle esigenze della clientela. La struttura è datata ma funzionale, la camera spaziosa e molto pulita, la vista sul lago meravigliosa sia dalla stanza, sia dalla sala colazione. Colazione servita, varia sia dolce e salata, con preparazione delle uova sul momento. Fermata dell'autobus letteralmente di fronte, in 20 minuti scarsi si arriva a Lucerna con grande comodità.

Kahvaltı gayet yeterli ve çeşitliydi, sıcak kahve, isteğimize göre haşlanmış yumurta,sıcak kruvasan ve ekmekler, çeşitli meyve ve yoğurtlar…Ayrıca Müslüman olduğumu bu yüzden domuz ve alkol ürünleri tüketemeyeceğimi söylediğimde bana özel vegan peynir tabağı hazırlanması da çok mutluluk vericiydi. Our host was very attentive. The furniture in the roon and on the corridor included lot of old stuff which made a good vibe. The nearby restaurant which they recommended for dinner was fine (Ristorante Schlössli), as well as their own breakfast. They have own parking place. We had stuunning view from our room to Pilatus Mountain. With the accommodation you get also free access to the Luzern City public transport, which is very handy.

The cows of the neighbouring meadow made a suprisingly long, funny night "concert"... but in fact we enjoyed it:)

Old classic building absolutely stunning

הדירה באזור יפה מאוד אבל מרוחק מהעיר. אבל נותנים כרטיס לאוטובוס במתנה כך שזה עזר. יש גישה רגלית לאגם. החדר גדול ומרווח. ארוחת בוקר סבירה. ביצים קשות. גבינות ולחמים ומיץ תפוזים טעים.

1. חם, היה מאוורר קטן שלא עזר ואסור לפתוח חלונות כי ניכנסו מלא חרקים. 2. שעות הקבלה לא נוחות 3. המיטות לא נוחות נופלים למטה 4. המעלית לא עוצרת בקומה אלא בין הקומות ועדיין צריך לעלות עם מזוודות כבדות. 4. בלילה התקרה מלאה בעכבישים ענקיים ומפחידים. לא יכולנו להיכנס לשטוף פנים. בבוקר הם נעלמו.. והמנהל לא ענה וכעס עלי ששלחתי לו הודעה באמצע הלילה.

Es riecht im Hotel und vor allem in den Gängen abgestanden und sehr muffig. Die Badezimmer haben keine Duschkabinen und könnten deutlich renoviert werden. Die ganze Einrichtung wirkt sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Was in der Gaststube historischen Charme vermittelt, wirkt in den Zimmer eher wie eine verpasste Chance, das eigentlich schöne alte Haus zum Glänzen zu bringen.

Il signore che ci ha accolto è stato gentilissimo e parlava italiano. La colazione buonissima, in una sala molto accogliente in stile "svizzero" che i bimbi hanno molto apprezzato, non di quelle tipiche delle grandi catene: eravamo solo noi nella sala.. Il parcheggio è proprio davanti la struttura. Ultima nota carina: c'era un pastore svizzero che i bimbi hanno adorato.

Nulla, forse che la struttura è un po' fuori Lucerna.

On the street in front of the hotel is traffic and is quite noisy. If you stay longer, you would appreciate some change on breakfast, but….?

Convenient location and easy to get to ny bus. Clean place and friendly.

Unbeatable location right beside the train and bus stations, providing easy access to the entire region. The room was generously sized and comfortable, but the highlight was the stunning view of the peaks and a glimpse of the lake. The classic, old-world aesthetic added a great touch to the stay.

The property seems to be run entirely by one person, who appeared quite stretched thin. While this is understandable given the workload, it unfortunately translated into a few interactions that felt rather blunt and unwelcoming.

A really good, cost effective, traditional hotel. 10 mins outside the centre of Lucerne (the bus stops right outside the hotel and you get a free travel ticket for your stay) but with great views of the lake. The Host was amazing - clearly explained everything to me, showed me to my room and made sure I had everything I needed. I also heard him speak in five different languages while I was there - German, French, Italian, Spanish and English - massively impressive. I had an amazingly large room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. While there was no aircon on a hot night, a window open and a provided fan t sorted that and I slept well. A large carpark if you are travelling by car too. Impressive value for money and a great location for visiting the surrounding area. Would stay again.

No option to buy a coffee or tea neither can you make your own as they donot offer any kettle for making hot water. No utility stuff in the room(like mini fridge). Room was very warm and a small little fan was provided which was not good

Posizione ottima e tranquilla, con fermata bus proprio sotto la struttura, bus che passa ogni 15' e in un quarto d'ora porta al centro di Lucerna, oltretutto gratuito con la carta turistica fornita in albergo. Parcheggio gratuito proprio davanti alla struttura. Camera grande e bagno perfetto, con doccia spaziosa. Colazione ottima, servita al tavolo con salumi, formaggio, uova, pane caldo, burro e marmellata. Siamo stati veramente bene.

Ville have været rart med adgang til køleskab, er lille skrivebord på værelset (hvis muligt), og flere stole og borde på terrassen foran hotellet.

非常棒的体验，老板热情，介绍的特别详细，关键房间超级大，相比其他小小的放假，这家一个房间可以睡4个人。早餐也不错，位置也很好。离一个开放的游泳点特别近，住了2个晚上，下湖游了3次。这家酒店是这次旅行的意外惊喜。

Wonderful location. The room was quite spacious.

Maybe there is a inconsistency between my evaluation and the finally given "very good" classification. The reason is, that despite the shortcomings of the room (noisy, warm w/o A/C, no table in the room), the owner did his best for our wellbeing, even taking into consideration the breakfast, the information given, the advices concerning Luzern, or the free public transport pass and reduced musuem ticket prices ensured by the gasthaus.

Our biggest problem was the lack of -even a very small- table in the room. We kept the shutters of the room closed while were out, therefore the room didn't get overheated, but this is not the best way of air-conditioning... And really, the gasthaus was expensive comparing to our other hotels, accomodation in Switzerland.

Very well connected to Lucerne. Extremely warm welcome and very professional service, always open for advice and very flexible in accomodating our needs.

l'accueil était très agréable, le petit déjeuner très bon servi par un hôte très aimable et parlant français, la présence d'une moustiquaire très appréciable ainsi que d'un ventilateur.

Il y a trop de bruit à cause de la proximité de la route et comme il faisait très chaud nous étions obligés de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes.. Il manque aussi une table ou un petit bureau afin de pouvoir écrire

Great location, easily accessible and also carries the history of a 100 plus years. Facilities are comfortable, breakfast is great and is family friendly. Has an old world charm around it and we loved the architecture and the simplicity of the hotel. Robert is a great host and is a very able guide and we cannot thank him enough for his assistance and help.

Nothing much to write about here. It is located on the main road and sometimes the vehicle sounds may disturb your peace but that was a very minor irritant for us.

We stayed in a very large room that was clean and relaxing. There was some road noise but did get quieter after 10:00pm. A short train or bus ride from downtown Luzern with free travel voucher provided . Great communication from owner. Nice place for dinner a block away with a lovely walk to the lake after. Very nice breakfast
