The staff was amazing. So helpful. They let us change rooms after our first night no questions asked asked. Cute little kitchen/breakfast area that we hung out in late night.

Rooms are tiny. Not the staffs problem but should be more clearly stated in advertising materials.

Great location, in the Latin Quarter. Very good breakfast. Alex is a great asset to the Hotel, helped us with our bags to get to the top floor.

Worst room we have ever stayed in. Paid €469 for 2 nights for a tiny box of a room on the top floor with a tiny bathroom. Damp roof in bedroom. One side of the bed had a 6 inch gap to get passed between bed and wall. Don’t want to spend any time in the room as claustrophobic atmosphere and not relaxing at all. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I asked to move to another room for 2nd night as saw adjacent room was empty and made up ready for a new guest but was told we couldn’t as they’d have to clean our room for that guest. Had to request bed was made up and clean towels and had to help myself to toilet roll after asking for more TWICE. We were on the top (third) floor and fire exit is the entrance on the ground floor..:

The location is excellent and close to the action. Paid for car park just round the corner was also great. Our TV stopped working and the staff were excellent and very friendly and swapped it for another one straight away. The continental breakfast was perfect for what we wanted. For fancy coffee a shop directly opposite did a great flat white. Bed was comfy and cosy!

Our room was tiny but other rooms were much bigger. We had a dog with us so it was a bit tight! It can be noisy depending on your room. We were ok as used to ear plugs but it was university freshers night and noisy till late.

Good sound insulation - noise was really not a problem. Great breakfast but small room meant tables not always available.

We were warned about there being no lift - but did not expect room to be so small...

Die Unterkunft ist nie 4 Sterne wert. In einem sehr lärmigen Viertel. Alles sehr eng, Bsp. kleine Zimmer ohne irgendwelche Ablagefläche, kein Lift (für Gehbehinderte absolut ungeeignet), schmutzige Teppiche, Schimmel im Badezimmer, viel zu kleiner Frühstücksraum etc. Preis-/Leistung stimmt in keinem Fall.

Location is good if walking. Very quant and historic building right in the center of the action. It looks like they recently installed A/C which allowed us to close the window to help filter the noise. Breakfast was very good.

Rooms are tiny. Nowhere to put my suitcase. Shower also very tiny. There are pubs all around the hotel so there is noise until 2 am. If you’re not a late night person it could be an issue.

Location was fantastic - View out our bedroom window straight onto the vitality of the Latin Quarter below - buzzing! Staff were lovely and continental breakfast was great. Loved the historic aspect of the property too.

Stairs were a bit of a nightmare with suitcases but staff graciously carried them up for us.

Amazing place, right in the city center and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a bit of noise from the streets, but the hotel gave as complementary ear plugs. Amazing stay <3

Tiny rooms in very central location, in the Latin quarter. Very easy to get around town from here. Walk straight out to multiple bars and pubs and shops and restos. 5-10 mins walk to Aran Island ferries. The morning breakfast is excellent, especially the fresh fruit.

It's noisy. I eventually used the provided ear plugs to try get a good night's sleep. The hotel was refurbished a few years back but it's starting to feel a bit tired. The rooms are super small and not too practical. The shower was average. There's a lack of power points and unlike many other places we've stayed at over the past couple of weeks, there's no direct USB charger points.

Die Lage mitten im Zentrum war hervorragend. Ganz in der Nähe gab es eine Garage mit reduziertem Tarif. Das Haus war sehr alt mit Charakter. Es war sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer war klein aber funktionell.

E stata la peggior esperienza che ho mai avuto stavamo andando via la mattina dopo ma avevamo già pagato i due giorni per fortuna solo due. Mi sono sempre fidata del punteggio booking ma questa volta ha toppato alla grande. Camera microscopica (un ripostiglio) letto incastrato tra due mura niente armadio ne alcun appendi abiti me un piccolo supporto per aprire il bagaglio, ne spazio per tenere il bagaglio a terra. Odore di fogna in camera , camera rumorosissima, e,dulcis in fundo non fanno le Pulizie ne aspirapolvere ne pulizia del bagno ne letto rifatto solo un cambio biancheria da bagno . Mai visto un hotel con punteggio 8.5 con230 euro a notte con queste caratteristiche d'ora on poi mi guarderò bene dal prenotare con booking.

Die Lage ist perfekt. Direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Ohropax legt einem das Hotel hin. Das angegebene Parkhaus ist wirklich total nah. Frühstück war ok, ein kleines Buffet.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sehr klein und kaum Stauraum. Das Bad ist auch total klein. Für 1 - 2 Nächte ok. Länger schwierig weil man kaum um das Bett laufen kann und nirgends was ablegen kann. Selbst den Koffer kann man nicht richtig aufklappen. Es gibt keinen Schrank und kein Regal oder Stuhl oder Tisch. Nur ein Mini-Hocker. Der Begriff "smallest Hotel in Town" passt. Aber das macht nichts für einen Kurztrip.

Centrally located, it was easy to visit sites and pubs by foot. The inn is charming with its 700-year-history. The breakfast is excellent !

We had been warned that this is in the heart of Galway's pub district, but we were not prepared for the live music "LATE" (as advertised) right outside the hotel. We were provided with earplugs, but it was not enough to drown out festive sounds at 3 am.

Chambre minuscule (moins de 8m2) impossible d’y entrer une seule valise. Salle de bain qui fuit, rien ne sèche. Impossible d’ouvrir les fenêtres. Bruit infernal jusqu’à plus de 2h du matin et double vitrage inefficace. Pas assez de tables pour tout le monde au petit déjeuner et celui ci est très moyen et en plus ça fuit de partout. Le nom boutique hôtel est usurpé

De locatie is uitstekend, personeel erg aardig en ontbijt goed. Hoewel we aan de voorkant zaten totaal geen last gehad van het geluid van de straat.

De kamer is heel klein, 1 nachtkastje en wij hadden het idee dat het bed een beetje naar 1 kant helde. Bed ook klein (voor boven de 1,80m). Oud pand dus dat zal het zijn.

The breakfast room, it was lovely. The quietness, being in the busiest part of town where the buskers play, it was very well isolated.

The location is right in the Latin Quarter so if you want a peaceful place this isnt it. If you want a place in the center of everything where you can stay up late in the pubs and then walk home, this is it. They provide earplugs so that tells you something. The place was very clean though rooms small, the owners and staff accommodating and nice. The breakfast was not a hot one but it was big, fresh with a lot of choices. Id stay again for sure

J'ai bien apprécié la localisation en plein quartier latin. C'est un immeuble ancien avec plein de charmes. Le personnel est très serviable et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

Personal und Lage waren sehr freundlich bzw gut. Zimmern sind so klein wie beschrieben, aufgrund der Lage logischerweise etwas lauter. Das hat uns nicht gestört. Frühstück war ok, aber nichts besonderes - für irische Verhältnisse vermutlich nichts, eher ein typisch kontinentales Frühstück.

Betten sind etwas durchgelegen, muffiger Geruch im Bad, sehr, sehr wenig Platz

Right in the middle of the Latin quarter. Full on party mode.

The room was small but fine for one person. They provide earplugs for the noise - I’m a light sleeper but I did not need them. The double glazing was effective. The breakfast was wonderful, especially for a place that lived for the nighttime.

Quirky property in the heart of the cities party area. If you close the windows and put on the air con the noise you are warned about is minimal.

Perfect location to explore the heart of Galway and experience the shopping, restaurants, live music, and nightlife. Friendly staff. Small but comfortable rooms. Rich history with this hotel. Laundromat was right around the corner.

Narrow hallways and stairs and no elevator, but this was well- communicated in the booking. We had one person with minor mobility issues so they were accommodating by giving them a room closest to the ground floor.

Ubicación perfecta. A pié a todas partes. Colchón cómodo aunque habitaciones pequeñas. Lugar con mucha historia y encanto. La primera noche la habitación no correspondía con lo contratado pero al reclamar nos cambiaron a la adecuada la siguiente noche. Desayuno completo continental. El ruido no nos supuso ningún problema.

Que no respetasen de entrada que la reserva era a habitación con "vistas a ciudad" y no a un callejón oscuro por el mismo precio .Bien es cierto que al día siguiente después de quejarnos lo arreglaron pero con las consabidas molestias para nosotros. Por lo demás todo estuvo bien. Encantadores

Liked everything, was as advertised, but cosier

Frühstücksraum viel zu klein. Bei vielen Gästen war das Personal überfordert, kann aber nichts dafür. Die Zimmer sind extrem klein, das Treppenhaus extrem eng. Das müsste alles bereits in der Ausschreibung stehen, nicht erst in der Mitteilung kurz vor Ankunft.

We liked they were super welcoming to our small dog, even letting him be in the breakfast area. The staff was super polite, diligent and welcoming. The property was clean and in great shape. The breakfast did not have any hot items (just toast) however, there were plenty of things to choose from and it was all fresh and nicely laid out and replenished. Easy to locate, easy check-in/out and right at the foot of busy, vibrant, and party ambiance Galway city.

The room felt very small, but no different than most B&Bs we've stayed at.

The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the Latin Quarter. Our room was cozy, but comfortable, and the breakfast just right. We had no problem with street noise. The building has a fascinating history you can read about during breakfast. Great place to stay if you want to wander around the Latin Quarter.

The hotel is quite vertical with narrow stairs - persons with mobility issues may find it challenging.

Sehr zentrale Lage mitten in der Innenstadt von Galway und nett in den allgemeinen Bereichen eingerichtet. ABER: es ist wirklich sehr laut bis sehr spät in der Nacht und früh morgens durch die Reinigung der Strassen!

Dieses vermeintliche 4* Hotel ist eher eine Pension. Das Zimmer (Nr. 4, Merlin) hat gerade mal Platz um um ein Bett rumzulaufen. Für 2 erwachsene Personen ist es unmöglich sich zu bewegen, ohne das einer aufs Bett ausweichen muss … das Bad ist ebenfalls sehr eng mit sehr rudimentären Armaturen - keine Steckdose und der Wasserdruck sehr niedrig. Für über €200.- pro Nacht ist sehr überteuert.

Being close to the Galway restaurants, pubs, music, & hotel, we’re a plus. The 2:30 am outdoor revelry could be heard but not a problem. The hotel room was small; but included 2 twin beds with just enough walking room, a full bath (toilet, small sink & shower),a smart TV, fulfilling breakfast options & a staff willing to accommodate when necessary.

Be in shape yo lug luggage up 2-3 floors; although the staff was there to assist us in our 79d

Location was near pubs and restaurants. Can be a little noisy but you are supplied with ear plugs. Which we didnt need. It is the spainish quarter so would suit younger visitors.

Its an 600 year old building so no lift up just narrow step stairs. Again suit younger visitors Im 70 but managed. Rooms small. Breakfasts good.
