The location with the view is wonderful. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. The room was big, clean and well furnished. The bed was very comfortable.
It was the end of season and some decorating work was going on. In both rooms there was no hot water to have a shower and a few light bulbs weren't working.
Location & sea views
Narrow stairs, thin walls, no plug in wash basin
Great location with fab views of the estuary, pier, etc. The room was lovely, again with a view. Bed was comfy and bathroom very clean. We had dinner in the lounge and it was great. Watched the sun set over Mulranny and Clew Bay - what more could you ask for! Would recommend for a short stay.
It didn't bother us but it's room only at this guesthouse/pub, so just be aware of that when booking.
The location and staff
The Irish Coffee was made with single cream A disaster 😪
Views if the bay were stunning and the bed so comfy
Tv a little small and the staircase door bang every time it closed so the slower closer may need adjusting
This place cost me 160 and ut was only b&b not only that but thwy disnt even swrve breakfast the room was small and dull they only had 5 or 6 channels on tv never again
Nothing
I was expecting some noise as its above a bar/restaurant. I arrived back late as I was attending a wedding elsewhere and was lucky enough that the bar was actually already closed - ended up being probably the quietest nights sleep I've ever had!😅The shower was fantastic. View was beautiful. Was delighted with my stay even if it was a short one.
Our room was lovely and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in. No tea making facilities but Ann gave us a kettle. No room service but we liked that as we didn't have to vacate too early and we could return any time we wanted too throughout the day. Car parking near by which was great. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and would hope to return again.

Room a little bit small
Lovely clean room with spacous en suite. Nice location near beach.
Right in the centre of Mulranny with gorgeous views. Nice restaurant and pub downstairs.
No clear instructions on how to check out.
It was absolutely gorgeous. What a wonderful place to stay. Close to the beach.
We loved everything about it
The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I’m over 6 feet & was a little too big for the bed.
great location, service and food
Would have loved a kettle in the room
Staff were lovely. Very reasonable rate for peak summer season. Good location with easy access to nearby beach and exploring Achill Island.
Three of the bedrooms face the sea, while the other three face the street. I was disappointed that my bedroom faced the street, as the room shown during booking had a sea view. I’d suggest making it clearer on your Booking.com listing which rooms have sea views and which face the street. The bedroom was of a lovely size but it could do with some maintenance - long wall crack beside bed and Sky channels on TV did not work.
Staff were marvellous, helpful and friendly. When we arrived our 'Deluxe' room wasn't deluxe. The room had bad plaster cracks on the walls, was backing onto the main road (noisy), had no view (only window was high above bed), the double bed was against a wall (so you couldn't get out of bed both sides), no kettle or tea-making facilities, hairdryer.... literally nothing that made it deluxe. But the staff were excellent and helpful when I spoke with them, and moved us to a much better room.... albeit still not quite what I'd describe as deluxe.
The room we were moved to had an amazing view of the sea, and a bed that was comfortable in spite of it missing some slats under the mattress. It had a wardrobe, small dressing table and night stands. But it was tight and there was no room for your bags. The toilet downpipe leaked, the sink leaked bady from the waste bend (across the floor), there was no plug for the sink. No kettle or tea-making facilities (rectified later), no hair-dryer and a very small TV mounted on the wall. If we had paid €70 - €80 per night, that would have perhaps been OK. But we actually paid almost €150 per night, and at that price, the rooms fell well short of "Deluxe".
Location was excellent. Cosy bedroom. Very nice place to stay overall
So friendly very very nice beautiful view definitely recommend
Clean, comfortable room with an amazing view!
No issues at all
The view of Clew Bay from the windows is spectacular! Comfortable beds, clean rooms and updated bathrooms. Really lovely.
The location was lovely. The room was adequate
We stayed here for a wedding in the hotel we had to go into the bar to check in we were just handed a key and told what room we were in. We were told nothing else it was late when we got back from the wedding. The toilet door was very stiff to open and close there was a bad smell in the room so I had to keep the windows open so little sleep was had as it was facing the main road.
The area is nice, it's close to Achill. There is a pub under the hotel rooms.
It could be cleaner
My room had a fantastic view!

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay great. We asked if they served tea in the morning, which they didn't but they provided tea-making facilities, which was very kind.
I can't think of anything. For the price we paid, we got exceptional service and a comfortable room for the night. It was a great base for exploring Achill and the surrounding area.
Comfy bed, friendly staff, great food
No soap/shampoo in bathroom. No coffee station in the bedroom. No Seaview from the bedroom
Cobwebs in area of the ceiling.
Staff seemed friendly and location is great but room was poor. Checked out less than an hour after check in and moved to another accommodation.
Quite a bit of black mould in shower, no bin, room not cleaned properly, empty soap/shampoo dispensers, no kettle, tea or coffee.
The bed was ok.
Bathroom items - soap, shampoo, shower-gel - not available - dispensers empty. Staff unable to provide any of these items. No restaurant on site. Doherty's Pub across the road serves good food at reasonable cost. Light in shower cubicle not working. No housekeeping - cleaning, bed making etc -during stay, contrary to services listed on Booking.com Corridor and stairs filthy. Various items - ironing board, folding bed - left in corridor. Dirty glasses left on window-sill on stairs. Cleaning items related to on-going decorating work left on floor at bottom of stairs and floor not swept during this work leaving the stairs slippery. Walls are very thin so sounds from adjacent rooms can be clearly heard. No staff available before noon.
The check in is seamless, the staff very welcoming and the ambience of the place, the dining room views, the food was out of this world!! it all made for a really enjoyable
Niets
Views and location excellent
Room small, shower you needed to turn on from the bedroom! All soap dispensers empty and only 1/2 toilet roll!
They had Sky Sports and my team were on. Pity about the result!
The shower swich was in need of repair, so it couldn't be adjusted. They will get this fixed.
Amazing view
No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Cafe not open for breakfast. No hot water for showers on our last morning. Off site management, so we were unable to report lack of hot water and poor heating.
Clean & tidy. Friendly staff
Chef was off so no food available.
Nice views, easy to find good parking Comfy bed and nice staff. Food in pub was nice.
No kettle in the room. No tea coffee available on site so over to a local shop for a takeaway every morning. Showers were not always hot, cold shower on day 3. Entrance hallway up to rooms was quite dirty. Outside door to rooms was not lockable which felt a little unsafe overnight for 3 ladies. No breakfast available at all.
Views. Very comfortable bed. Staff.
Room was cold.
Bardzo smaczne jedzenie ,wygodne pokoje z ładnym widokiem
Nic
We loved the view from the window.
Room was super small, there was no coffee sachets in the room. You could hear every detail of neighbors conversation.
Chambre assez grande,très jolie vue, personnel très accueillant
The room was overcrowded with furniture and blocked 1/2 the window. Needs a rearrange and loose the oversized wardrobe. Also needed a bedside light and table
The property was clean, and although the rooms more basic than a hotel room we had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were good, the fan was excellent in the bathroom. I loved the crisp white bed linen, dark wood furniture and wooden floors. The views were amazing, and we had dinner in the bar which was very nice. A brilliant location if you want to be close to Achill Island and Nephin National Park. I would stay here again.
It is a shame the breakfast isn’t included in the price and we found it hard to control the temperature of the room, it got extremely hot in the middle of the night as they seemed to turn the heating on at unusual times. Sometimes a little noisy with sounds from the road and other guests rooms.
Very cheep amazing bedroom had everything
I liked everything nothing to dislike
Views and staff
No hot water or heating in bedroom Person in next room very loud all night long both nights
Location was perfect. Easy parking. Comfortable bed. Doherty's across the road for food.
Room a little smelly. Shower stopped working one night. No food available.
Cama confortável, fácil acesso e bom atendimento
The view of the dunes and Atlantic is amazing, and the service is standard. I had no real problems while there, the owner was very accommodating. For my first trip to Ireland, this was a great spot for a bit of solitude.
There will be noise, but its expected with the bar below. The walls are thin as well.
Lovely location & room
Everything--- it was so confortable
The shower couldnt be regulated easily
Nothing
Value
Wasnt room in picture here room was fine But no heat not fine broken shower not fine Having a flood no staff on call not fine Complete nightmare
The village
Good location to explore the surroundings. Great bed.
This place is a hidden gem. From we arrived Ann was nothing but amazing. She provided us with lots of local information, was so attentive and made us feel at home. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We can't wait to come back again later in the year. The Guinness is also unbelievable in the bar and it was accompanied with a lovely open fire
NOTHING ! A sespit...Arranged to be at the property at 3pm. No one was there. A phone number on door called it twice it went to a full mail box. Looking through an open hall way the place was so dirty. Carpet going up stairs was filthy. Walls filthy paint and lumps missing from the walls. Plastering on the walls and paint damaged. The place appeared abandoned. I was told by booking.com to call the number attached to property. A man answered and to describe him as rude would be a understatement. He was vile and threatening. I would not feel safe staying there! A Complete and utter DUMP! I asked for refund and was told "no refunds "! I will be taking the matter further. So disappointing considering the location.
Everything it was a hideous experience
Location and view from the room was perfect. Room was lovely and bed very comfortable.
Plugs in the room went off and did not work and the tv also went off. Unable to dry my hair in the room and had to use the plug in the corridor which was not ideal as there was no mirror. The corridor floor was not clean. There were no staff around to tell so for 2 days we could not charge our phone or use a hairdryer.
Vistes des de l'habitació. Ampli i còmode
