Gorgeous view out the back. Sara was a superb host, cook, historian and tour guide.

When we first arrived I was confused as to what door to go in.

Sarah was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional, kept us going all day. Within short walking distance of McLoughlins where we had a wonderful meal with the same exceptional views as the b&b. Lovely to lay in bed and look out at the sea. Would definitely recommend.

The bed was too soft and bouncy for our liking, but that was our personal feeling.

Bed was comfortabel, alleen bedplank was wat onhandig (bed net te kort), kleine wasbak.

Superbe vue, chambre propre et spacieuse, parking privé . Sarah est de bon conseil, très disponible et soucieuse de nous satisfaire, merci beaucoup à elle!

The location was excellent. The kitchen was a good size and clean. Bedroom was spotless. Good size and nice shower room. Close to Achill Island. Two restaurants with bars and supermarket minutes away from property. Doherty’s restaurant and bar was fabulous. Food was excellent and had some entertainment too.Plenty places for walking with beautiful views. On the way to Achill island there are lots of places to see and to stop for food or coffee etc. would definitely go back and stay in the same place. Loved it.

Great location with amazing view of the sea. Clean and modern.

There was little to no sound insulation making all sounds from the road spill through, would recommend bringing ear plugs for sleep.

Location was outstanding-could not be bettered. Breakfast facility was available but there was no service. Room and building was clean. Telescope over the bay was a nice added touch. Thought the room was a little too basic-no place to sit except bed. Thought room should be cleaned daily, not after duration of stay. It would be a nice idea to recommend breakfast options nearby. No contact with customers may suit the owner but it was quite a soul-less experience.

First time in a B&B in Ireland and everything was perfect. Friendly host, spotless comfortable room, great breakfast. The views are also amazing, did not expect them to be as beautiful as they were.

Comfortable, spacious, well-appointed room with outstanding view across Clew Bay. Very quiet, which was welcomed after a long day of cycling. Breakfast was excellent, high quality ingredients and preparation. Short walk to pub for dinner. The visit was entirely relaxing.

The property was clean, tidy, and well-maintained, making for a generally comfortable stay It was conveniently located, with easy access to nearby amenities.

- The hallway light could not be turned off, which caused disturbances during the night and made it difficult for children to sleep undisturbed - The bathroom’s sensor lighting made it challenging to ventilate the room without repeatedly activating the light, which was inconvenient, especially since we went during a heatwave and were not able to open the windows fully due to safety considerations for children - Communication from the owner was delayed, with responses only received the following day, which made it harder to resolve issues promptly - The shared kitchen arrangement was somewhat unclear, with utensils distributed across multiple stations and limited guidance on their use, leading to confusion about what was available and permitted to use. There were several items in the drawers that had a note saying these items were reserved

Absolutely strategic place closw to achill island. The view was magnificient right in front of Mulranny beach . When you stay here you get to cover almost the whole beauty of achill island in compared if you stay in the island itself. Mulranny has the most stunning beach . Its my favorite one

Excellent B&B or House/Inn as others might call it. Very Clean and comfortable. Sarah, the owner is perfectly friendly and helpful. I will definitely try to return next time i am in the area. Breakfast was amazing, in a beautiful dining room. Expect to meet people and exchange some pleasantries. The highlight of this house is the views from the rooms, it is good for the soul!!

Not much, but I'd encourage to the owner keep up a fantastic job. Room are decorated with attention to detail and a lot of class. Maintenance needs to check everything, and use the rooms to fix all the normal wear and tire incidents that occur. Always room for improvement, but i love this property and am really only trying to answer the question.

The location is stunning and the bedrooms are new and clean.

The shared kitchen is big but we had no idea if we could avail of the crockpots and pans that were there. We used a pan in the morning and were embarrassed to find out it was someone else’s and we had to clean it to give it back. There should be more indications of the rules.

Amazing place to stay. Very clean and well kept. The breakfasts were fantastic. Oh the soda bread!!! Highly recommend

The rooms were a little small, but we made it work.

Brilliant views and location (between Achill and Westport) Sarah is a lovely host and made excellent breakfast and juices. Room was a good size with comfy and warm bed. Couldn't recommend this place enough for those visiting achill or surrounding area.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin und tolle Aussicht. Schöne Atmosphäre beim reichhaltigen und sehr guten Frühstück.

Hätte mir einen kleinen Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer oder Aufenthaltsraum gewünscht. Aber die Gastgeberin hat uns auch hier geholfen. Und bei B&B ist es wohl auch nicht üblich. Kein wirkliches Problem..

The view is spectacular, looking out over the tidal bay. Quite village with a great pub just down the road.

Das Frühstück war wunderbar. Lecker gekocht und der Orangensaft frisch gepresst. Die Vermieterin super freundlich und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Was uns ebenso gut gefallen hat war, dass man durch eine Schiebetüre direkt aus dem Zimmer nach draußen gelangen konnte. Tolle Aussicht.

The room has a beautiful view on the beach, the tide and the mountains. Near by on walking distance is a shop and restaurant with a similar view plus delicious food and drinks. Sarah is also a top host!

Very clean, exceptionally good staff

Mulranny House is located in a picturesque setting directly overlooking the beach & sea. Everything about our stay was excellent - the room was clean & tidy & the facilities were faultless. Sarah (host) went above & beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Food prepared was superb & she even emailed over her brown bread recipe. I could not recommend the Mulranny House & Sarah more & would recommend anyone to stay.

There is nothing about our stay we did not like. The b&b is in a remote setting, though there are pubs & a convenience store nearby.

our first room 3 was very loud but when we requested a change we were able to go to room 4 and were delighted!! Quiet and nice shower

Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und von der Pensionsinhaberin freundlich serviert. Es gab eine reichhaltige Auswahl zum Frühstück . Die Pensionswirtin war äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich und an ihren Gästen interessiert.

Es gibt wirklich nichts zu, was nicht gepasst hätte.

The property was easily accessible and communication was great with the hosts. Very new and clean and located right in the village so perfect for those who Arnt wanting to drive. Opposite the beach where I got some great walks in. And 2 pubs and shop 5 minutes walk away x The property was well facilitated with cooking facilities downstairs for self catering x Nothing was to much trouble for Clara the host. Would highly recommend and would stay here again most definitely xx

Only one thing I would ask for …… a mirror in the bedroom 😂 as a woman I needed one to dry hair etc. but I woke xx around it. That’s the only thing I’d say ❤️

We loved our stay! The room was big, bright and warm with an amazing view of the bay from your bed. From check in to check out we enjoyed our stay. We were attending a wedding nearby and Sarah our host was gracious enough to offer a late checkout in order for us to dress and put makeup on before going to the venue. The breakfast was delicious. Would recommend anyone to stay here and we'll be back

Great spot to bike Clew Bay

Mulranny House was very welcoming and Sarah was a great host. The room was beautifully decorated and had an amazing view of the beach, we had everything we needed for our stay in the room. Our breakfasts in the mornings were delicious and plenty of choice.

Tolle Lage; super Frühstück

My Husband and I stayed her for a couple of nights while attending a wedding in the nearby hotel. Our Room was in a side part of the house with its own front door. It had everything we could have needed and couldn't fault anything. The Breakfast was absolutely amazing, So much to choose from but very hard not to go for the Full Irish when its on offer and I wasn't disappointed. Sarah was so kind and the most welcoming host ever! It was just an overall 10/10 and I'll definitely return!

This is a wonderful location. The view from the room is remarkable and invites you to tour Crew Bay and Achill Island. Sarah is friendly and helpful, and her breakfasts have a very personal touch. The room is well-equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. I certainly hope to return.

We hebben niemand van deze faciliteit gezien; weinig parkeermogelijkheden; overvolle frigo's en vuilnisbakken in de selfcatering keuken: geen aangename ervaring om in dgl keuken te moeten ontbijten; vrij kleine en warme kamer, wel proper. Dit is niet echt wat we verwacht hadden, en we zouden er niet meer terug naar toe gaan...

Quizá en una estancia de dos noches deberían al menos cambiar las toallas (o hacer la habitación) que no se secan de un día para otro.

Rooms better than pictures show. Bathrooms very modern , towels and toilet roll supplied by the guest house which i didn't expect . Kitchen facilities excellent , 4 kitchen units to share , I expected one like most places . Close to the beach , achill , westport . Will definitely be back and stay longer than 2 nights

The view from out room was OMG! We had the most amazing pancakes and our host - Sarah -went out of her way to serve us an early breakfast as we were traveling to the airport - really grateful Loved the little patio outside our room and though the weather was not great - we got to see a beautiful rainbow across the sea
