The shower could’ve been a bit more powerful but that is all.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026Im Zimmer, das wir gebucht hatten, fiel am Tag unserer Ankunft die Pumpe der Dusche aus. Mary hatte gemailt "Unfortunately because of this you wont be able to use the shower!". Wir waren aber im Auto unterwegs gewesen und hatten die Nachricht nicht gesehen. Vor Ort bot Mary uns dann 15% Preisnachlass an, wenn wir das Zimmer trotzdem bezögen. Aber wir waren gewandert und brauchten dringend eine funktionierende Dusche. Also suchten wir uns kurzfristig eine neue Unterkunft und riefen Mary an, um ihr mitzuteilen, dass wir ihr Zimmer, das immerhin MIT Dusche gebucht worden war, nicht in Anspruch nehmen würden. Ich war davon ausgegangen, dass wir uns die Kosten zumindest 50/50 teilen würden. Doch Mary berechnete uns den vollen Preis... Ein technisches Problem wie eine ausgefallene Pumpe ist nicht die Schuld der Gastgeberin. Das kommt vor...Doch noch weniger ist es die Schuld des Gastes. Instandhaltung gehört nun einmal zu den Pflichten der Zimmervermietenden, würde ich meinen. In solch einem Fall also 100% zu berechnen und sich dann auch noch darauf herauszureden "I cannot give you a discount because you chose not to use the room you booked" empfand ich nicht nur als unprofessionell, sondern als eine Unverschämtheit. Zur Unterkunft selbst kann ich nichts sagen, denn wir sind nicht über die Schwelle des Hauses getreten.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026We arrived on a day that was exceptionally sunny and from then on, we were enjoying ourselves greatly. The sea view room has a spectacular vista. Mary was great to welcome us and answer all our questions. The location is just a short walk from the pubs and a bit longer (but amazing) walk from the beach.

Reviewed Jul 12, 2026Mary was lovely to deal with, good communication and suggestions about the local area. The room was spacious, with all that we needed for our stay. The weather was beautiful and so we had gorgeous views out over the bay. We were attending a wedding in the Mulranny Park Hotel, so this was perfect, as it is only a 5 minute walk to the venue. Would highly recommend Mary's if you are staying in Mulranny.

Bathroom narrow and a little tight. A fan would have been nice since it was a little stuffy for sleeping.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Ondanks dat we de eigenaresse niet hebben gezien, heeft zij ons regelmatig berichtjes gestuurd via Whatsapp om er zeker van te zijn dat wij van ons verblijf konden genieten. Zo was alles rondom het ophalen van de sleutel duidelijk en wees alles erop dat ze altijd voor je klaar zou staan indien je wat nodig zou hebben. De badkamer was ruim, schoon en de douche was een van de fijnste die we tijdens onze rondreis gehad hebben. Qua hygiëne zat het overigens ook goed in de rest van het verblijf. Er zit een benzinestation, leuke pub en supermarkt op loopafstand wat de locatie ook optimaal maakt.

Badkamer is niet zo groot.

Reviewed May 6, 2026The B&B was very convenient to access, the key is left in a key code lock and was accessible no matter what time you arrive. The room was spotless and there is tea making facilities and a mini fridge in the room. The shower was lovely with plenty hot water.
No TV in the room, it didn't bother me but maybe for others staying with family it may be.

La vista da Mulranny è veramente bella. La struttura piccola ma comoda e pulita, non mancava nulla. Parcheggio comodo. Ottimo Wifi

Not the most comfortable place to sit and read when the weather was bad, and the drying facilities were limited
