Very nice, we were in cabin A. Lovely welcome pack, including a decanter with malt whisky.

A wee bit from the centre but still within walking distance.

Nice rooms, they were a good size and very comfortable, the location is great for access to the town and the parking was plentiful, there was plenty coffee and even a whisky in the rooms.

Location and views were fantastic. The room was large and beautiful, spotlessly clean and luxurious, loved the window seats. Easy check in and out.

Die in die Jahre gekommene Einrichtung, die einem 4-Sterne Haus nicht entspricht (Raum Mull im Nebengebäude), der Geruch am Zimmer, Innenausstattung im allgemeinen sowie nicht geputzter Kühlschrank, Heizkörper und Sessel.

Warm, Comfortable, Spacious, well located. Quality of everything was excellent. Including extras provided. Lovely short walk into town along the waterfront.

It was clean, modern and great location. You could really tell it was family run and care was put into it, staff were helpful and friendly. The added touches of local whisky, iron brew and tea cake was lovely. Absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations, wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Très belle maison située sur le front de mer, même si la chambre louée est dans l’extension derrière la maison. Chambre très confortable, spacieuse, proposant de délicates attentions: bouilloire, thé, café, chocolat, petits biscuits, chocolats, bouteilles d’eau, canette de soda et même flacon de whisky !

L’éclairage au plafond insuffisant, l’absence de lampe sur le bureau, une douche au fonctionnement capricieux.

Outstanding service. Nice large rooms with superb shower. Friendly staff. Free sweets, popcorn, cookies, etc. Nice bar. The breakfast was outstanding with fresh fruits, exquisit warm compositions, and the traditional compilations

The view was fantastic from the room which was spacious and extremely comfortable. Access keys were located in the foyer which was perfect for us and could fault nothing. Will definitely return.

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage an der Esplanade, raus aus dem quirligen Zentrum, das man aber in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Grosszügige Zimmer, im Haupthaus wohl alle mit Meerblick, die eine wunderbare Sicht auf die Bucht von Oban bieten. Reichlich Parkplätze, sonst eher ein Problem in Oban, sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden. Im Zimmer stehen bei Ankunft Wasser und ein Dram Whisky bereit, ebenso ein Fernglas.

Iian and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. My room was huge and beautiful. The location is so beautiful and convenient. I walked everywhere. The breakfast was delicious and having a wee dram in my room with Scottish goodies was so welcoming. Thank you for making my first trip to Scotland, outstanding.

Gute Lage an der Strandpromenade in Fusswegdistanz zum Zentrum. Unkomplizierter Zugang zu der Wohnung. Wir waren nicht in dem schönen Altbau, sondern in einem Anbau; dafürwar die Wohnung umso geräumiger.

Stayed for 2 nights with hubby and we both absolutely loved it. We stayed in room 5 which was a large, stunning room on first floor with incredible views. The room and the whole place was spotless. Downstairs there was a small library with a fridge and ice machine for guests. Can't wait to go back!

Our room number 7 had a sea view,the room was exceptional,with 2 comfortable chairs to enjoy the beautiful view. Bed was so comfortable.Location was great a short walk to town.We sat on one of many benches on the esplanade to enjoy the stunning sunset. Ian our host was lovely.

This was a fantastic place to stay whilst spending a couple of nights in Oban. The location is superb, with great views across the bay and only a 10 minute walk away from the town centre. The room was great, spacious and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the Scottish-themed snacks and drinks that had been left in the room. The continental breakfast also went down well and was easy to arrange on the day (we hadn't pre-booked). Myself and my partner both agreed that we would happily stay here again when we inevitably return to Oban.

Witchwood house is a beautiful period building with superbly renovated rooms, modern bathroom and amazing views over the water. The room was spotless, complimentary drinks, tea, coffee, water and whisky. Breakfasts were great and there were plenty of options for gluten free/coeliacs. A short stroll to Oban centre. We stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend!

Everything, tasteful, quiet, private, fabulous sea view, orderly check in, short walk to downtown, and kindly, the taste of local whisky. If you are exploring, Iona Isle is a wonderful day trip, as is Staffa.

Travelling back from Mull we stopped at the Witchwood house for an overnighter before returning home. I wish we could have stayed longer. Spotlessly clean , terrific view over the harbour , although remote process the check in and out was really straightforward really enjoyed and will go back, great shower and facilities

Whilst initially disappointed not to have a ‘room with a view’, the chalet arrangement near the back of the property was spacious and very comfortable. Modern fittings, very comfy bed and excellent shower created a happy stay. Just 10 minutes walk to town for a choice of cafes and breakfast.

Although the room is cleaned every other day, broom or similar would be good to have as inevitably we brought some dirt, crumbs, mess into,the room!

The location was very convenient, just a short drive from the ferry terminal. The breakfast was excellent - a good range of healthy food.

We didn't see any member of staff in the evening of our arrival. Only Iain at breakfast time. We thought we had paid for breakfast when we booked, but we had a separate bill for it.

What’s not to like. Outstanding room spotlessly clean. Wished I’d booked more nights. Great value for money. I was so impressed.

Das das zweite Zimmer im Block C Cottage, war es der Preis nicht wert. Obwohl beide Zimmer gleich viel gekostet haben, war der Unterschied zwischen den beiden Zimmern gewaltig und dies rechtfertigt denselben Preis ganz und gar nicht. Daher sollten die Preise pro entsprechendes Zimmer transparenter deklariert sein.

Had such a wonderful experience at the Witchwood House, and wish we had stayed longer than just one night! While they had self-checkin, one of the owners met us at the front to welcome us. The room was modern, spacious, beautifully decorated, and had a gorgeous view of the bay. It's a quick walk to the center of town, with a bus stop right in front if you're going further. If you book directly with the property, they have a portal where you can speak with the owners if you need anything, and they are very responsive. We hope to stay here again if we make it back to Oban!

We stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast in late May. To say that the room was perfect is an understatement. We reserved a sea view double and were so glad we did. The room was very clean and was decorated beautifully. The bed was comfy. We were provided with nice white robes that we used in the evening to watch the sunset while sipping the whisky the owner provided. The inn was walkable to restaurants and the pier where we took a ferry for our three island cruise. The owner replied before our visit when I had questions. There was self check in which was simple to manage. I wish I was still there. We found the price to be fair.

Es gab keinen persönlichen Kontakt. Wir haben uns wie bei "Corona" gefühlt. Das Zimmer war in einem Anbau mit trostlosem Vorgarten. Der Frühstücksraum (ungemütlich nur mit Dachfenster) und die Bibliothek sind nicht in den schönen Räumen im alten Haus, was auf der Buchungsseite dargestellt wird, sondern auch im Anbau. Also im Haus hatten wir keine Möglichkeit aufs Meer zu schauen. Schade.

Superb location, friendly staff and very comfortable beds. The showers are huge! We extended our stay and had the room at the top with full sea view. Importantly, plenty of parking. Friends have stayed here and we chose it on their recommendation.
