Sehr exponierte Lage, eigene Treppe die Klippen hinunter… Die kleine Strandbar kocht fantastisch, wir hatten uns frisch lecker Fisch zubereiten lassen… Personal super nett und kommunikativ!

We loved our stay with Gonzales and his father at Vila Foz Club. The property, our room and view, the little beach and the history of the property told to us by Gonzales were just fabulous.

The location and owner was amazing! The beaches in early September are very busy but having the semiprivate beach and restaurant for lunch on site was amazing.

Kiváló lokáció, egyedülálló tengerparttal. Az épület nagyon hangulatos, sokkal sajátosabb mint egy tömegszállás és mindemellett renget sportolási lehetőség van ami díjmentesen igénybe vehető (teniszpálya, ping-pong, biliárd, kerékpár). A házigazda rendkívül kedves és közvetlen, ez csak tovább emeli a helyszín színvonalát. A közelben lévő kisváros (Alvor) nagyon hangulatos és könnyen megközelíthető, csak ajánlani tudom mindenkinek a helyet.

This property has potential, but unfortunately our stay was somewhat disappointing. It feels more like a residence than a hotel in the traditional sense, as the property appears to be a converted former house. While this can give it a certain charm, the facilities are in need of significant refurbishment. Our room felt quite dated, and unfortunately the bed and linens were not very comfortable. The shower was also leaking, and the housekeeping could have been more thorough, as the bed was not properly made. Given the price we paid, I expected at least a comfortable bed and pillows. The access ladder to the beach was also concerning. It appeared to be in poor condition and close to collapse, with part of it already damaged. This is something I would strongly recommend the management address as a matter of safety and have properly inspected. Overall, I think the property has potential, particularly if the facilities were renovated and some attention was given to comfort, maintenance, and safety.

De locatie is geweldig, je wordt wakker in de natuur met uitzicht op de zee, in alle rust. Als je wil kun je actief zijn in en rondom het hotel. Tennis, fitness, Poolbiljart, tafeltennis, duik in zee of een mooie wandeling. Verder zijn alle bezienswaardigheden en gezellige dorpjes op korte afstand met of zonder huurauto.

Tout ! Lieu exceptionnel avec une vue incroyable. L’hôtel est situé dans un endroit très confidentiel avec une vue et un accès à la mer époustouflants ! Hotel décoré avec beaucoup de goût, des chambres spacieuses et confortables avec une belle vue. Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants et chaleureux, le personnel est aux petits soins ! Petit déjeuner excellent, fin et copieux ! Nous reviendrons… c’est certain !

It had a lot of activities included like using the kayaks and paddle boards on the small private beach that wasn’t over crowded. The hosts were also very lovely and helpful.

It was a bit far from alvor town centre but taxis were easy to get home.

La gentillesse de l hôte Gonzalo est un vrai plus aussi

Le restaurant de la plage n à aucune vue sur la plage....mais on y mange bien pour le peu de plats proposés par la carte.

L’accueil réservé par Gonçalo et son papa permet d’être tout de suite à l’aise avec le lieu et de profiter pleinement de son séjour. Le lieu en lui même est spectaculaire avec une vue et un coucher de soleil magnifique, gros plus pour l’accès direct à la petite crique qui offre un certain privilège loin de la foule présente sur les autres plages aux alentours. La résidence en elle même offre tous les services nécessaires et les chambres sont très confortables. Le calme qui se fait ressentir dans la résidence aussi bien à l’intérieur qu’à l’extérieur permet de passer un séjour paisible et de déconnecter. Je recommande grandement cet établissement ! PS : le magnifique berger-allemand de Gonçalo saura également vous accueillir chaleureusement.

El enclave, la atención personalizada y facilidades que daba Gonzalo, la cercanía a otras zonas del Algarve, la habitación con las vistas al mar, el estar en un hotel pero como en tu casa, el silencio…

Creo que nada, salvo comentar algo de olor a tubería en la habitación y una TV pequeña y sin posibilidad de smartTV o conexión HDMI para conectar a un ordenador

Șederea noastra a fost extraordinara. Un loc minunat unde te poti relaxa. Camerele sunt mari si spațioase cu o priveliște de vis. Plaja naturala a fost locul perfect sa ne incepem ziua. Insa cel mai mult ne-am bucurat si le mulțumim oameniilor calzi care ne-au primit.

De locatie is echt geweldig! Adembenemend uitzicht, privestrand via avontuurlijk pad maar goed begaanbaar, wandelpaden. De rust en faciliteiten als gym tennisbaan zwembad(niet groot) Mooie ruime kamers.

MIsschien het feit dat er niet een barretje is om iets te drinken te halen. De host kan alles voor je verzorgen maar er is geen gelegenheid als een ontbijtzaal ofzo. Ontbijt wordt naar je kamer gebracht Is wel heerlijk en uitgebreid!

The beach is out of this world. It is so nice having a quiet spot on such a busy coastline. If you are there for low tide, maybe the owner of the hotel will show you the secret spot if you're lucky. The hotel is very quiet and they have good sports facilities. We would definitely come back.

It is a steep descent to the beach so may be hard if you have young children.

This was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. My partner planned this trip as a surprise, so I had no idea what to expect—but even in my wildest dreams, I couldn’t have imagined a place this beautiful. The hotel has its own private beach, and there are countless stunning beaches and hidden grottos nearby to explore. We spent our days playing tennis, kayaking, and simply enjoying the incredible surroundings. Everything you need is available, making it easy to relax and make the most of your stay. One of the highlights was watching the breathtaking sunsets from the hotel’s property. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Having breakfast served in our room each morning was the perfect way to start the day. This hotel gave us memories we’ll never forget, and I truly hope to come back many more times. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation in the Algarve. The location is excellent, right in the middle between Faro and Lagos, making it easy to explore the entire region. The hotel is situated next to a small, breathtaking beach with stunning views of the cliffs. There are also beautiful walking paths nearby. Although there is a bit of an uphill climb, the scenic coastal walks with incredible ocean views are absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape the stress of everyday life. If you’re looking for relaxation and a slower pace, this is the ideal destination. The hotel is family-owned, and the owners are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. They gave us plenty of fantastic and authentic recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit, which made our trip even more special. For those who enjoy staying active, there is also a tennis court on the property. What we appreciated most was the sense of privacy. We felt completely at ease, away from crowded tourist areas, and enjoyed a very peaceful and personal experience. It truly felt like a hidden gem, and we would love to come back.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Foz Club - Algarve. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et accueillants, ce qui nous a tout de suite permis de nous sentir comme chez nous. L’endroit est magnifique, avec une vue surprenante et un calme vraiment agréable. La possibilité de garer sa voiture facilement est aussi un vrai avantage. Et bien sûr, la proximité avec la plage est un plus incroyable. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour un séjour reposant, confortable et dépaysant.

A beautiful, peaceful place where time has slowed down. A large room with a king-size bed. The beach right below the accommodation was wonderful, and we borrowed a kayak and spent the whole morning paddling between the cliffs. A very kind host, all of his recommendations were very useful for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Foz Club and truly enjoyed every moment of it. From the very beginning, we received such a warm welcome and immediately felt at home. The hosts were incredibly kind and gave us many helpful tips and great recommendations, which made our stay even more special. The atmosphere was relaxed, easy-going, and friendly – almost like staying with friends. We felt comfortable and welcome throughout our entire stay. The breakfast was always fresh and absolutely delicious. The beach right in front of the hotel was simply breathtaking and added so much to the experience. We honestly cannot find a single thing to complain about and would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality – we hope to come back one day!

Gonçalo und sein Vater haben hier ein absolutes Paradies erschaffen. Die unglaubliche Ruhe, die herzlichen Gastgeber und das absolute Highlight – die spektakuläre Lage am quasi privaten, unvergleichbaren Strand – machen diesen Ort perfekt. ​Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer mit Meerblick war ein Traum, besonders das morgendliche Frühstück auf dem eigenen Balkon. Überall auf dem Gelände laden Bänke dazu ein, die selten schönen Sonnenuntergänge zu genießen. ​Leider war unser Aufenthalt zu kurz, um Fahrräder, Tennis oder Kanus zu nutzen. Das holen wir nach – wir kommen definitiv wieder!

One of our favorite stays during our two week trip in PT! The location is unbeatable - it feels very secluded but it’s close to everything. Private beach 10/10. Best breakfast we had the entire trip. Relaxing but also great for the active. Views are great from everywhere, muito obrigada!

This is exactly that kind of place. Peace, nature, and probably the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. The building itself is unique, filled with antique furniture and paintings, unlike any accommodation I have stayed in before. For those looking for activities, there is a tennis court, a gym, and kayaks available. Breakfast can be delivered to your room for an additional charge, and the host is friendly and welcoming. A truly exceptional place that creates unforgettable memories.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Paradiesische und gut zugängliche Strände. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber.

Prachtig gelegen boven aan de steile rotskust. Prachtig uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan. 10 min lopen via goed begaanbaar pad langs de rotsen naar het strand. Het gebouw heeft de uitstraling van een chique hotel uit de jaren 50 met dito antiek ingerichte lounche. Vader Ebilio en zoon Gonzales zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We gaan er zeker terug. Heerlijk ontbijt op ons terras bij de kamer met uitzicht op zee, prachtig, genieten.

Het hotel heeft stuk grond ernaast gekocht. Daar waren ze bezig een mooie tuin aan te leggen. Gaf gelukkig nauwelijks overlast.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Die Ausstattung großartig und die Hilfsbereitschaft super.

Close to Portimao by car There's a small cove nearby which I don't recommend as it's dangerous to access (although it's meant to be fixed soon), so we mostly used Praia do Ferto which is stunning and around a 5 minute walk. The owner is very kind and always happy to help

Was für "Hotel" mitten in einem Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Super ruhig, es gibt Zimmer mit Meerblick, der schönste Strand Portugals ist nur 5 min Fußweg entfernt und der Besitzer ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, kommen aber bestimmt wieder und dann länger!

Die Lage, das Haus, die Ausstattung des Hauses (viele tolle Möbel antiquarisch) und der Nahe superschöne Strand.

The owner, an has been tennis-champion, is a very friendly modest guy. Breakfast on bed!!! Gentle staff! An astonishing beautiful surrounding! Fabulous!!!

What a wonderful unique Guest house. Goncalo and his father were great hosts. The once private residence, turned into a hotel is set in a quiet area on a cliff. The property has a real homey charm. Our large clean room had a balcony overlooking the property, a perfect place to enjoy some wine and cheese. The hotel has its own trails to the cliffs with spectacular views. We visited the beach via Alvor beach at low tide, as the trail down from the hotel was still washed our from the rains. Best cliffs and beach views in Algarve!. I am very surprised this hotel does not get more recognition in the Algarve area, as it was one of our favorite places. We will be back!

This hotel is unique! The architecture, the beautiful old furniture in the hall, the surroundings. It is like an island in the midst of all these huge hotel complexes in the Algarve. Very quiet, a great place to relax. The breakfast is brought to your room when ordered and very delicious. But most of all, we were impressed by the hospitality of our hosts, Gonçalo and his father. They make you feel at home - always easy going, very helpful at all times. It is in walking distance to restaurants along the beach (take the elevator down to the Restaurant Caniços). Not to forget, in the hotel you can play tennis, table tennis, pool and there is a gym!

Anfitriones amables y muy atentos, tenían buenas recomendaciones para conocer el Algarve. La ubicación de la acomodación es muy buena por las playas cercanas y lugares de interés. Sin duda nos gustaría volver!

Me gustó absolutamente todo, Abilio y su hijo Gonzalo son personas maravillosas. En todo tiempo tenían una sonrisa puesta, muy atenciosos y amables. Foz Club es un espacio para relajar y conectarse con la naturaleza, con unas vistas impresionantes y una playa privada que no hay palabras para decribirla. Está muy bien comunicado, con restaurantes y todos los servicios cerca. La habitación estaba impecable, todo olía muy bien. Ya hablamos con Abilio que siempre que vayamos a Alvor, allí nos quedaremos. Por último mencionar que hay actividad para todos los gustos; gym, mesa de billar, juegos de mesa, cancha de tenis, mesa de ping pong, bar con menú del día, piscina con vistas para el mar, opción de masajes y desayunos. ¡Nos quedamos enamorados! Un saludo de Thayrine y Jefferson (Sol y Lluvia).

Es un lugar super tranquilo, con zona de gimnasio, piscina, billar y hasta una pista de tenis, pudiendo jugar con todo el material incluido. Además tiene una playa super chula y libre de gente (aunque un poco difícil de acceder jeje) El personal muy atento y amable, además el chico también habla muy bien español y es muy atento, nos lo hemos pasado muy bien!!

A unique hotel. Beautiful and peaceful place. The Oliveiras, father and son, are wonderful hosts. No car needed. Beach and several restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Die Lage und die damit verbundene Ruhe ist nicht zu überbieten. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Das Frühstück auf dem Balkon war herrlich.

Die gesamte Anlage scheint etwas älter zu sein.
