Ella green stay

Een paar fijne nachten gehad hier! We waren vier nachten met ons gezin in een familiekamer wat helemaal prima was. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en lief naar de kinderen toe. Goed ontbijt en prima locatie op loopafstand van de grote straat in Ella. Fijn dat er bij de kamer banken voor staan zodat je ook daar even lekker kan zitten. Goede wasservice

Una estancia fantástica. El alojamiento estaba limpio y en una ubicación estupenda. Todo estaba muy bien organizado y nos sentimos muy cómodos durante nuestra estancia. Pero, sin duda, lo mejor fue el personal, súper amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo lo que necesitábamos.

Muy cerca del centro, solo hay que subir 50 escalones para llegar!

Alojamiento funcional situado lejos del bullicio de Ella pero a 5 minutos caminando del centro. Las habitaciones son simples pero cumplen para descansar perfectamente. Los anfitriones son encantadores y nos prepararon el desayuno todos los dias con una sonrisa! Relación calidad precio espectacular!

Struttura immersa nel verde a pochi passi dal centro di Ella ma comunque molto silenziosa. Camera spaziosa e confortevole, staff gentilissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

It’s a family run business and things are done with care. If you want your money to go to a local, hardworking family, this is your place. The owner is extremely sweet and accommodated all our requests. She even made tea for me when I was sick due to a cold. She cooked for us delicious breakfast and dinner every day.

Nothing. Don’t expect 5 star European style luxury hotels, but the rooms are clean and if there is something wrong they will fix it immediately.

En effet, il y a quelques marches pour accéder à l'établissement (1 mn de montée peut-être...) mais cela permet d'accéder à un lieu calme et bucolique, à distance du centre-ville bruyant d'Ella. Et que dire de la gentillesse et du sourire de Dil (la responsable du logement).. Tellement agréable. Merci beaucoup.

Dilrukshi was a fantastic host! The location is amazing, outside of the busy centre but still at walking distance from the station and centre.

Este guesthouse estaba perfecta. Es una casa familiar y su anfitriona fue maravillosa. Muy amorosa y cocinaba un desayuno delicioso. Además nos ayudó con recomendaciones. La ubicación está bastante buena ya que está cerca del tren, de supermercado y la calle principal pero al mismo tiempo en medio de la naturaleza y la calma.

Le personnel est aux petits soins et très souriant. L’accueil y est chaleureux. L’endroit est au calme mais à 5 mn de tous commerces. La wifi est excellente

Il manquerait un petit jus de fruits le matin. Les fenêtres de la chambre ne se fermaient pas entièrement.

Ella Green Stay is a little green paradise in a busy Ella town (at least when we were there it was quite busy due to the most important local holiday), just a 5 minutes walk away from supermarkets and lots of restaurants. The owners are extremely friendly and made our stay very easy and enjoyable. The breakfast was very yummy and our kids enjoyed reading the books which were available for guests to use.

Just be aware you need to climb a few stairs with your luggage to reach Ella Green Stay. It wasn't a problem for us, but it may be for others.

It was private, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ella but still walking distance away. The host was lovely and breakfast was great.

Localisation au calme au-dessus d’Ella. 5min à pied pour rejoindre le centre-ville et profiter de l’agitation.

Nous n’avons pas pu dîner sur place. Lumières extérieures qui restent allumées toute la nuit face à notre fenêtre. Pas de rideaux occultants.

It’s a few steps up which isn’t a problem for us but if you struggle to walk then not for you

Convenient location 5 mins walk from Ella train station, many stairs to reach the top. Some travellers may prefer to be slightly closer to the centre of town. But it’s a small place everything is so close. Lovely host who helped me book an early morning tuk tuk to hike Little Adam’s Peak and was always available to answer questions. She is the true example of warm Sri Lankan hospitality! I ate a very generous breakfast and received good local recommendations.

The room smelled a little damp but such a minor issue overall I was still very happy to stay here as a solo traveller.

Les hôtes étaient incroyables, vraiment gentils et avenants. Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux et variés, toute la famille a adoré !! Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, vraiment nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Very comfortable, large rooms away from noise of Ella town. Walking distance to the bridge and little Adams peak. Fantastic breakfast and dinner (on request) one of the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. Don't hesitate if you're in Ella.

As many reviews say, the homestay is up a hill and then up a staircase. No problem for us at all but obviously those with mobility problems and/or young children may feel differently. The place is fantastic but if you have an issue with this and you book it, you shouldnt complain.

Počítejte s přístupovou cestou po 50 schodech, pomoc se zavazadly je možná. Večer může být slyšet hudba z baru pod kopcem.

L'emplacement était très bien en plein centre ville mais loin de l'agitation pour ne pas souffrir du bruit la nuit. Tout peut se faire à pied depuis le logement. L'hôte nous a donné de bonnes recommandations pour les restaurants.

Chambre très petite, heureusement nous n'avions que 2 petites valises pour quatre. La propreté moyenne du logement notamment sur la literie.

Clean, calm and nice staff! We accidentally booked the day after however the staff managed to accommodate us anyway which was much appreciated.

The Breakfast was delicious and the area was beautiful. Our host was very accommodating and hospitable. She had lots of good advice about the area and was very friendly.

It was a little confusing on how to get to the accommodation from the street because there wasn't much signage and there were lots of other buildings in the area.

The host and owner Dilrukshi was the sweetest, kindest lady. She tried to make our stay comfortable and was very accommodating to our needs. Also made a decent breakfast every morning. Dilrukshi has a green thumb, so there were beautiful potted plants and green shrubs all around, a testament to the Ella Green Stay name.

Didn't like the climb up to the facility at all.. Several steps up from street level, including the last 25 steps straight up on a narrow iron escape-ladder like arrangement. Had been warned about the climb and the owner did arrange help for our luggage to be carried up as promised. Still us having to climb up and down all the way was not fun. We are a couple in our early 70s. Would be fine for younger folk and those on a budget. Although the room had windows, couldn't open the curtains because other guests would be sitting outside on the porch. So no privacy. The room was damp, which worsened my cold.

It was a lovely, small family run accommodation. The owner was super lovely and helpful. She also thought us how to cook Sri Lankan food. The breakfast was good too.

Sehr nette Gastgeberin, hat sich um das Problem sofort gekümmert. Sehr gute Lage.

Hatten zuerst das mittlere Zimmer, viel Schimmel und ein furchtbarer Gefuch nach Abfluss. Bekamen dann das erste Zimmer, welches besser war.

Die Besitzer sind super lieb und führsorglich und wir konnten das Zimmer wechseln, was aber natürlich oft was Negatives mit sich bringt.

Schon beim Betreten unseres Zimmers hat es so unfassbar muffig gerochen, dass einem wirklich übel wurde. Da es schon spät war konnten wir nichts anderes tun als bei offenen Fenstern und Türen zu schlafen, damit es halbwegs erträglich wär. Auch im Bad hat es so furchtbar gerochen, dass man sich nicht darin aufhalten wollte. Die Spülung der Toilette war katastrophal. Es drückt sogar den Abfluss mit allem was sich darin befindet aus den Nebenräumen in die eigene Toilette hoch. Wirklich grausam. Warum wir dennoch 6 Punkte geben, weil wir nach der 1. Nacht ein anderes Zimmer bekamen und es dort erträglicher war.

Very nice place with a lovely host. Very quick walk from the railway station and into town. However it’s still very quiet. We had a very quick and easy check in with a last minute booking. Bonus for a very hot shower, which is also not always the case in Sri Lanka.

The guesthouse had a fantastic location, close to the main road but very quiet, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The owner was kind and attentive.

A little damp, but that's the weather's fault. I didn't like it when they started hammering under my window at 8 a.m. even though they knew we were still sleeping.

Blízko vlakové stanice, takže výhoda když dojede tímto spojem. Velmi milá majitelka s rodinou, nám se vším pomohla.

Netekla moc teplá voda, tak jsme se nemohli ani po studených dnech trochu ohřát. Jinak ubytování bylo straší, ale čisté. Takže na kratší přespání ideální.

Les hôtes sont très gentils et serviables. Ma femme a eu de la fièvre et l’hôte m’a bien aidé à la soigner. Les lits étaient plutôt confortables. La localisation est plus en nature et à 5 minutes à pied de la ruelle touristique d’Ella.

Il y a un gros manque de professionnalisme et de communication. Nous aurions aimé : - Savoir avant notre séjour qu’il y allait avoir des travaux de 8h du matin à 17h30 juste derrière notre chambre. Nous avions communiqué que nous étions en voyage de noces et cela n’a pas été lu. - Avoir plus d’informations sur le fonctionnement de la guesthouse en arrivant. On ne nous a rien dit et par exemple, le restaurant était fermé pour le dinner car les hôtes n’étaient plus là. - Un wifi fonctionnel, car nous avons passé quasi tout le séjour dans la chambre du à la pluie et la maladie de ma femme. Il fonctionnait très approximativement. - Avoir une petite serviette en plus pour les mains dans la salle de bain, du gel douche / shampoing comme dans tous les logements et des couettes supplémentaires car il faisait plutôt froid. - Savoir que le soir nous entendons des discothèques au loin.

Staat een woonkamer met slaapbank omschreven wat je doet denken dat het om een huis gaat. Zijn in totaal 3 aparte slaapkamers en verder alleen buitenruimtes.

Doğanın içindeki ambiyasını Yatak konforunu Hindistan tütsüleri satan biri olarak ; ev sahibimizin bahçede yaktığı tütsülere bayıldık. Mistik bir atmosfer etkisi yapıyor. 🙏🏽

Çok keyifli ve özel teras alanında keyif yapmak istiyorsunuz. Ama sinek yada ciğer doğa canlıları izin vermiyor. Ve ses hassasiyetiniz varsa bazı hayvanlar hiç gece boyu susmuyor 😀 Tesisin kedileri çok güzel. Baya sevdik . (( Türkler kedi sevmeyi sever ) . Çünkü bütün ada turu boyunca hep köpek maymun gördük.

We recently stayed with our 4x young children and had an amazing time. The owner is so kind and accommodating, she was always available to assist us and gave us some great suggestions of things to do around Ella. She has created a tranquil environment to relax - the photos don't do it justice! It was so lovely sitting outside on the couches reading a book or listening to the frogs in the evening. The accommodation was really clean and comfortable - all the rooms had fans, mosquito nets and good water pressure. We had breakfast and dinner there most days, which was delicious and great value. The location was great, just meters from the train station and a short walk up the hill from town and all of the restaurants/shops. Would 100% stay again!

Nothing, we had a perfect stay and didn't want to leave! The accommodation is up a path with some steap stairs but we managed fine with our children and the hosts husband kindly helped us with our bags on arrival and departure.
