Reviewed Aug 10, 2026It’s a place that train staff to work in tourism and also to make contribution to the local community. The price was very fair. The room was specious and the staff were very nice. You can pay with credit card at the hotel which is super convenient.
There were small ants in the room. Nothing that a little bug spray can’t solve. But other than that it’s a great place.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026We had a comfortable night at Le Tonle. The rooms were clean and the hotel has a nice balcony with a view of the river. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself does not offer kayaking with the dolphins, but you can easily book it online.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026La struttura fa parte di una bellissima realtà che supporta il turismo comunitario e la formazione professionale dei giovani del luogo. I ragazzi dello staff sono stati molto accoglienti e gentili. Pulizia impeccabile, camere funzionali e con tutto il necessario. Buona la posizione, molto vicina al punto del Mekong dove si prende il battello per arrivare a Koh Trong. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026NGO run hotel with a great staff, especially the hotel manager who went out of her way to assist every guest. Right on the river walk so easy to stroll along the Mekong. Staff will assist in planning tours of local sights and making travel arrangements elsewhere. Also has a good restaurant right in the hotel. Would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Reviewed May 12, 2026Die Unterkunft ist praktisch in der Mitte von kratie gelegen, oberhalb der Fähre. Es vertritt einen nachhaltigen Tourismus und hilft bei der tourbuchung mit kooperativen Organisationen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, man kann auch zu Abend essen. Die Zimmer waren okay, wir hatten zwei mit Blick auf den Fluss.
Das Bad ist ziemlich klein, die Treppe ist sehr steil, was mit schwerem Gepäck mühsam ist.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Lage war super. Wir konnten über die Unterkunft direkt einen Scooter buchen und sie haben uns einige Tipps zum Ausflug mit den Irrawaddy Delfinen gegeben. Nebenan ist gleich das Sorya Guesthouse, welches auch Kayaktouren organisiert und sich perfekt für einen Sundowner eignet. Ausserdem immer toll, wenn ein Hotel kostenlos Trinkwasser Refills anbietet. Personal mega freundlich. Frühstück im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026Das nette, saubere kleine Hotel liegt sehr schön an der Flusspromenade. Wir empfehlen, ein Zimmer mit Flussblick zu wählen. Wir sind erst am Nachmittag mit dem Bus angekommen und man hat uns sofort einen Ausflug zu den Delfinen vermittelt. Danke!
Alles okay! Falls wir wieder nach Kratie kommen sollten, wollen wir wieder dort wohnen.

Attente un peu longue pour la landry (le surlendemain). Pensez à demander si c est possible de manger au restaurant le soir car si un groupe (de touristes ou de collègues de travail) a déjà réservé ils ne prennent plus d' autre réservation. (cela nous est arrivé 2 soirs sur 4) Clim difficile à réguler (vétusté ?) Escalier un peu raide mais cela reste correct (ça dépend de vos rotules!) Bruit de martinets qui logent juste à côté mais cela est supportable (chambre 12 fermée, on ne les entendait plus)

Ze denken hier aan het milieu en kannje hier gratis water krijgen uit een grote dispenser, ook zijn er hierdoor geen plastic flessen te krijgen! Het personeel is vriendelijk en staat graag voor je klaar. Er worden hier veel mensen getraind uit de omgeven in Engels, of het werken in de bediening en dergelijke. Dit om hun ervaring en kennis te vergroten. De bedden waren ook erg lekker!
De ruimte van de douche, is wat onpraktisch ff wennen daarna prima.

Reviewed Feb 14, 2026Die direkte Lage am Mekong ist sehr schön. Leider hatte ich ein Zimmer, das nicht flussseitig war und ein Zimmerwechsel war nicht möglich. Die Zimmerausstattung war soweit zweckmässig und die Sauberkeit war gut. Das Frühstück möchte ich als durchschnittlich bezeichnen. Auch die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter wusste mich persönlich nicht restlos glücklich zu machen.

Even had a (shoe)rack. The place was very comfortable, shower nice with hot water. No bugs or insects whatsoever, and the AC worked well. Staff was very friendly, helped me with my luggage, payment can be done by card or cash. Location is great, close to the bus stop, with a nice view on the small common terrace, and close to many restaurants. It was so much better than I expected from some of the bad reviews. Love their policy on no bottled water!🙏

Our room was sparsely furnished but clean and comfortable (but it is a guesthouse rather than a hotel). The location was perfect for us - within walking distance of the town, opposite the ferry to Koah Trong Island (good for a visit) and within reach of Kampi for dolphin watching (recommend taking a kayaking tour). The restaurant was excellent both for breakfast and dinner and, if you like a cocktail, I would highly recommend the Kratie Basil🍹!! All in all it's a nice place to stay and extremely reasonably priced.
As there was a kettle in the room, I was surprised there was no tea or coffee provided. Would recommend leaving a little extra time when leaving as the bill is calculated when you check out!
