La struttura é molto mal ridotta. Ci sono cose accatastate ovunque e un pessimo odore al piano terra. La pulizia lascia molto a desiderare. Scarafaggi e formiche in bagno. La vista era sul tetto della struttura a lato.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026La propriétaire était très accueillante. L'hébergement est bien placé. La chambre était agréable, lumineuse avec tout le nécessaire. Le plus est bien sur la grande terrasse donnant sur le Mékong. La vue au coucher du soleil est incroyable.
Un vrai café serait un plus, plutot que du café en dosette le matin mais les prix du restaurant sont acceptables.

Tutto!!! Bagno senza sapone per le mani, senza carta igienica, pulizia mancante e disordine ovunque, per finire in bellezza la signora delle pulizie alle 07 di mattina é entrata in dormitorio a sfare i letti delle persone che erano andate via presto, facendo confusione tirando i cuscini per la terra.Zero aria condizionata e fuori c'erano 37 gradi!!!

Un coup de nettoyage en dehors des chambres et un coup de rangement ne ferait vraiment pas de mal. Et un coup de neuf dans les chambres serait le bienvenue, après au vu du prix , c'est plutôt compréhensible.

- chambre insalubre et vétuste : draps tachés poils et cheveux de partout, salle de bain sans évacuation d’eau (l’eau tombe directement sur le sol), fourmis sur le sol, plafond qui coule/moisi pour 3$ la nuit, on ne s’attendait pas à grand chose mais c’était quand même très vétuste

Terrible bathroom with broken shower head, no toilet seat and leaking sink. There was a leak in the ceiling. Whole property needs to be taken better care of. Staff were often not around, just children.

Vidste jo godt at det ville være ikke helt ok til den pris men fx dryppede der vand fra loftet, håndklæder var lavet af kunststof,sengebetræk hullet, ingen hylder til ens tøj, to meter fra vindue til vindue i skoleklasse. Havde booket to nætter men flyttede efter første nat

Reviewed Feb 9, 2026We got shown to our room and there was a massive (over 1m long and several inches wide) hole in the ceiling literally to the outside… you could see the buildings foundations through it. I’m not sure what they expect to happen when it rains. Mosquitos would easily fly in and obviously this room was not fit for purpose, so we asked for a refund and to cancel our booking after arrival. We still had to pay the $6.50 booking.com fare unfortunately. The staff didn’t seem concerned that there was a gaping hole in the wall to the outside. The whole place also smelled absolutely disgusting. Do not recommend staying here

The experience was impersonal and transactional. Wanted to do the kayak trip but insufficient numbers so was required to switch to the boat trip which was not an issue. However paying circa $25 for effectively a relatively short tuk tuk ride to the little boat was disappointing. The dolphins were 100m off shore, not a word of explanation at any time on any aspect of the trip from anyone. It was slated to include ‘the mountain’. This element turned out to be a very small detour (few hundred meters) to the bottom of a flight of stairs. The ‘tour guide’ slept in the Tuk Tuk as you climbed the stairs to find a temple with a few equally indifferent monks who didn’t so much as look in your direction.

Reviewed Jan 28, 2026Das Silver Dolphin Guesthouse liegt schön gelegen mit Aussicht auf den Mekong. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir konnten einen Motoroller direkt über die Unterkunft ausleihen.
Leider ist der Zustand des Gebäudes nicht besonders gut. Wir hatten das Eckzimmer ganz oben mit Aussicht auf den Fluss. An den Wänden gibt es Schimmel und unter dem Bett ist es immer nass. Vermutlich fließt das Wasser aus dem Bad dort hin. Im Zimmer gibt es viele Insekten, hauptsächlich Grillen. Die Bettdecke hatte keinen Bezug. Es war auch etwas seltsam, dass die Besitzer der Unterkunft direkt in der Lobby schlafen. Generell haben wir uns nicht besonders wohl gefühlt.

Hôtel vieillot, rien pour poser vêtements ( juste une petite table), rien pour accrocher vêtements, serviettes. la salle de bain est très vétuste, rien pour poser trousse de toilette, rien pour accrocher serviette. Vieux climatiseur qui a du mal a joué son rôle....

Facilities are very basic and the place could do with a bit of tlc but for the price point you can't complain at all. Ideal for a short stay to see the river dolphins.
It's next to a school which can be a bit loud in the mornings if you wanted to lay in. But not the guesthouses fault!

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026We intended to only stay here one night but unfortunately I was ill so had to extend and extra 2 nights which the staff were so accommodating about! The owner was so lovely she was asking me if I was feeling better when she saw me and provided us with all the information regarding activities. Always has a smile on her face! The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice. Only thing was there was quite a lot of mould on the ceiling near the main door. Great location and excellent value for money.
Mould on the ceiling maybe just a little bit more of a clean.

veel te duur voor wat je krijgt - in de gang stinkt het, het is vuil, er ligt overal vuile was en kapotte zetels. ik begrijp niet waarom andere mensen hier enthousiast over zijn. 14 dollar voor een kamer voor 2 die écht gewoon super basic is. Voor die prijs hebben wij in cambodia al heel degelijke kamers gehad. Prijs-kwaliteit is beneden pijl.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026Camera pulita con letto comodo, possibilità di fare colazione e cena in loco. Per il prezzo pagato la camera è ottima (c’è anche l’acqua calda!). Abbiamo partecipato all’escursione in kayak proposta ed è stata molto bella.
Il lavandino in bagno non aveva il tubo di scarico. La struttura è adiacente a una scuola, quindi alle 6.30 si sentono i bambini che urlano a scuola.

Bed was comfortable with a great pillow. Fans available in room that were quiet. Location is ok, about a km from the bus drop off & atm. Directly across the road from the river to sit and watch the sunset or the morning river activity come to life.
The bathroom is really ordinary! Cold water only, no toilet paper, no soap. Broken floor tiles, missing tiles, toilet almost in pieces but does work. Really needs some attention. No water dispenser. Dorm room very noisy with traffic until quite late.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Chambre spacieuse et propre. Bien situé. Propose billets de train sur tout le Cambodge ainsi que des activités notamment du kayakkng pour voir les dauphins. Pech nous a emmené et nous avons passé une super matinée à pagayer à la recherche des dauphins sur nous avons trouvé ! Pech parle très bien anglais et français. C’est un super accompagnateur ! Location de scooter et de vélos à la guesthouse

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026If you are looking for a budget-friendly and authentic stay in Kratie, Silver Dolphin Guesthouse is a great choice. The rooms are simple but very clean, providing exactly what you need for a comfortable night. You shouldn't expect luxury for this price, but it is excellent value for money. The highlight of the stay was definitely the owner. He is a very experienced kayaker and guide, and I felt completely safe with him on the water. I went on a 20 km paddle on the mighty Mekong with him, and thanks to his expertise and knowledge of the river, I was able to see the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins! He knows exactly where to find them and how to navigate the current. If you want a clean place to sleep and an unforgettable kayaking adventure to see the dolphins, I highly recommend booking with him!

Reviewed Jan 2, 2026It was cheap, the water was hot, and the kayaking tour they organise is good. We wanted to get to the boat after the tour to get to the island and they arranged a car to get us there in time.
There were only kids running the guesthouse which wouldn't speak much English and called the owner for whatever request.

La chambre : drats douteux, des fuites d’eau au sol, moisissures un peu partout , à notre arrivé des insectes partout dans la chambre même après fermeture des fenêtre ça ne s’arrêter pas de rentrer, pas cher certes mais faut être accroché quand même. Ps : nous avons dormi habillé par manque de sûreté sur l’hygiène de tout

La propreté de la chambre, les murs sont jaunes, pas d'entretient du bâtiment, le moteur de l'air conditioner empêche de dormir, si d'autre voyageur font la fete sur la terrasse il seront juste a cote de la chambre, obliger de réveiller la proprietaire pour faire le check out a 7h du matin, j'ai donné de la laundry elle est revenue mais pas au complet... Les rampes d'escalier etaient collantes (graisse de cuisine probablement), beaucoup de petites choses sont à revoir
