Marino Lisboa - Boutique Guest House

We had a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel in Lisbon! The room was clean and spacious.The rooftop terrace was also a great bonus — perfect for relaxing in the morning before heading out for sightseeing or unwinding at night. It was always clean and well maintained. The staff were amazing from start to finish. Luisianna was kind enough to let us check in early as soon as our room was available. Debora was always smiling and went above and beyond to help me with an issue I had with an ATM. There was also another gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, but he was very helpful and brought us extra pillows when we asked. And the location is unbeatable — just minutes’ walk from everything you need. Overall, we had a very nice experience and would highly recommend this hotel!

Lage sehr zentral

Das Zimmer hat sehr unangenehm gerochen und war nicht wirklich sauber. Überall waren schwarze Haare - auf dem Boden, im Bad, im Bett. Die Einrichtung ist generell sehr in die Jahre gekommen - Türrahmen aufgequollen, Laminat hebt sich etwas. Im Bad war Schimmel in der Dusche.

La habitación muy amplia, las camas muy cómodas y todo limpio, el hotel muy céntrico y que puedas desayunar en la terraza esta muy bien.

The location was really nice right beside Avenida da Liberdade.

There are too many things - first of all our room was on the ground floor right behind the reception so it was loud, when we walked into our room initially it smelled humid and actually had mold in the bathroom. The towels have fringes coming off them and don’t look exactly clean. Now this was advertised as a four star hotel. We seriously thought about canceling this room when we first checked in, but we are only staying here for one night so we didn’t have enough time to do so. It truly felt like a scam. The pillows and bedding also felt wet/ hard/ not warm and soft. Floor has some old stains on them.

Die Dachterrasse ist sehr schön und wir konnten dort gut Frühstücken. Die Lage ist sehr praktisch und zentral, wir konnten Aussichtspunkte, Cafés und Restaurants sehr gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein und bei offenem Fenster ist es auch teilweise laut von der Straße her.

這間飯店距離市中心很近，離地鐵站也很近，但是如果你是拉行李來葡萄牙只要是要走路都會要你的命，因為陡坡很多，飯店頂樓有免費的咖啡跟餅乾可以吃，而且是整個玻璃屋非常美，可以眺望整個外面的風景，很舒適！我們是著四人房，雖然另一個是沙發床但是也算是好睡的沙發床，房間也很大，唯一美中不足是洗澡跟上廁所的玻璃是透明的，所以要分組洗澡

這間飯店無懈可擊

Locația este situată foarte aproape de multe obiective turistice, aproape de metrou, totuși pe o străduță liniștită. Camera este foarte frumos amenajată, curată, pat confortabil, balcon foarte mare. Terasa de pe acoperiș foarte frumoasă, și cu wiew superb, unde poți savura un ceai, o cafea, biscuiți din partea hotelului, sau pur și simplu un snack sau un pahar de vin/bere, cumpărate de la magazinele din apropiere.

Există un lucru care nu prea ne-a plăcut, și anume acela ca toaletă era despărțită de cameră doar printr-un geam de sticlă. Poate pentru unele persoane nu este o problemă, dar pentru cei mai pudici, ar fi incomod. Poate ar fi ok de pus un geam de sticlă culisant între cameră și baie, așa ar fi o dublă protecție, atât vizuală cat și auditivă.

The location is excellent—just a short and easy walk to the city center, yet situated in a very quiet and peaceful part. It was the perfect base for exploring the city while still getting a good night's sleep. The room was clean.

The room felt very stuffy, and there was a strong sewage/drain odor, meaning we had to air it out thoroughly every time we walked in. It is also extremely small - we really struggled to fit our luggage (two large suitcases and one small one). Toilet seat was half broken. The was a little bit of mold in bathroom. Definitely not worth that much money and shouldn't be rated that many stars.

Una experiencia lamentable de principio a fin. Para empezar, cuando llegamos tuvimos que esperar más de 45 minutos en la calle en la puerta del hotel para hacer el check-in porque no había absolutamente nadie para recibirnos ni atender al teléfono. Una falta de profesionalidad inaceptable. Para colmo, cuando por fin pudimos entrar, nos asignaron una habitación pared con pared con la misma recepción. Ruido constante, cero privacidad y ninguna comodidad. La excusa del hotel fue que "era la más económica" y que supuestamente nos habían enviado un mensaje avisando por Booking; mensaje que jamás nos llegó y del que no teníamos constancia. La estancia era tan inviable y la gestión tan nefasta que nos vimos obligados a abandonar el alojamiento y cambiarnos de hotel ese mismo día. Una gestión nefasta. No lo recomiendo bajo ningún concepto.

Innerhalb der check in Zeit eine Stunde auf das Zimmer zu warten, da es geputzt wird und dann schmutzige Handtücher und Bettlaken zu finden, ist eine Frechheit. Dachten an 2. Tag wird es vielleicht besser, aber es kam einfach niemand zum Putzen, als wir dann nach Handtücher Fragten bekamen wir dunkle, da sieht man den dreck nicht. Die Dusche ist schimmlig und irgendwie schmudelig, aus dem Wasserhahn tropfte Rost auf meine Zahnbürste. Wir wollten mit jemandem darüber sprechen, doch die Damen waren for Dinner, also beschlossen wir frühzeitig auszuchecken, schade um das verlorene Geld ..

The rooftop lounge was nice. It was the perfect accommodation for a last night in the city before going to the airport. It was safe, in a neighborhood that was easily accessible to buzzy areas. The room was utilitarian and got the job done and met the standards. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind when I checked in.

For the price and the location, I was ok with the room not having the quality of comfort that I would want from a more extended stay.

The room was smelly on the first night, like urine .And I Got changed the room then the bedding was clammy, made it difficult to sleep, the bed is not comfortable. All are very old facilities, everything 's cleaned, but not really clean. Everything is Very basic. The pillow case, the sheet, everything were washed but not clean. You can see stains on in almost everything. I didn't enjoy the stay at all. I just couldn't be bothered to change to another hotel as my time was limited during holidays.

Odore forte di umidità nella stanza e nel bagno, l'unica finestra dava sulla strada al piano terra, quindi non si poteva aprire. La pulizia lasciava a desiderare. Né la camera né la terrazza coperta al quarto piano hanno corrisposto alle aspettative. Purtroppo, visto il prezzo pagato...

The location

The room was too small, the bathroom had no door or wall, they were glass doors. At night the windows’ covers opened and we were not able to sleep. One of the towels had a hole and one of the sink handles was missing.

The location was excellent: close to the main sights, but on a quiet street. The room was just as shown in the photos, nicely decorated, and the rooftop breakfast area was great. I would also like to commend the friendliness of the staff. I would go back if in Lisbon.

The only small issues were a slightly strange smell in the room, not bad, but not particularly pleasant, and the towels, which were clean but had some small black and brown stains. Perhaps using bleach or another product would help keep them fully white, as it feels a bit uncomfortable even when they are clean. These were only small details, though, and I would come back if I visit Lisbon again.

There was a strong smell of cleaning product upon entering the room (lemon cleaning spray scent) that lingered for the days we were there. Also the hotel does not have any staff that resides on the premises overnight which could be concerning as two young women travelling alone, but area was nice so didn't turn out to be an issue but is definitely something to be aware of and informed about prior to booking.

Leider wurde mein Mülleimer vom Vor-Gast nicht geleert, einmaliges Nachfragen hat auch nicht gereicht, am nächsten Mal musste ich erneut an der Rezeption nachfragen - das war echt eklig und ist mir so nie passiert. Leider sind die Zimmer auch echt super klein, ich konnte meine große Tasche kaum öffnen. Für 1-2 Nächte ok, aber mehr auch nicht.

The owner is a scammer, they will first place you in a “room” just behind the reception so you wont be able to sleep because of the sound of people entering the hotel, and calls they are getting at the reception. Then they will tell you you can change your room to an upstairs ones, if you pay more.. aka, you need to pay more to be able to ACTUALLY sleep and rest. So be aware if you receive a “your room is in the entrance, pls upgrade if you would like a quiter place” message, they will it use against you by telling that they warned you. However, they forgot to mention that this entrance room is sticked to the reception and you wont get any sleep, so hope you wont experience the same thing as me. The staff was really nice tho, especially Kevin.

Room was excellent,rooftop great for morning breakfast and coffee,location very central.Bernardo,Brenda and Kevin were great hosts.As a solo traveller they helped with booking uber,carrying luggage and offered destinations of interest and even offered to book restaurants .Felt very safe as well which was reassuring.

Location was excellent, room was small but clean and nicely decorated. Good big wardrobe and good shower. It also had a fridge and a coffee room upstairs with a nice balcony.

Its a bit on the small side and lacks any wow factor but its too be expected for such a good location.

W pokoju była bardzo duża wilgoć, czuć było nieprzyjemny zapach. Był sprzęt który miał ją pochłaniać ale moim zdaniem nie działał. Dodatkowo pokój, który dostaliśmy był na parterze, na przeciwko restauracji. Do późnych godzin było słychać głośne rozmowy i przez uchylone okno wchodził dym z papierosów

Well located for rambling around this part of Lisbon.

They do not have a 24 hour front desk and we arrived very early in the morning on a transatlantic flight (many do). So we waited at a nearby hotel for 2 hours (the Alegria) who took pity on us - we were obviously exhausted. The room was very small. We were checking out on a day with a national strike and the front desk staff arrived late which meant that we had to bring our bags back to our room, after schlepping them downstairs, and we had a tight schedule that morning for a tour and a rendezvous with a bus pick up. All in all there were too many negatives to make it a good option.

The only positive aspect of my stay was the location, which was convenient for visiting the city.

Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. Before arrival, I was not informed that the room was located on the ground floor, nor that it had an unusual layout with the shower and sinks inside the sleeping area instead of in a proper separate bathroom. I was told that a message had been sent to inform me, but I never received it, as I showed the receptionist. Furthermore, no confirmation or acceptance of this room was ever received from me. The cleanliness standards were also disappointing and did not justify the price paid. The room was made available approximately one hour later than the official check-in time, without any clear communication or apology for the delay. Upon arrival, the towels provided were only for one person, despite the reservation being for two guests. The room was not cleaned after the first night, which further affected the overall quality of the stay. What I found most concerning was the way the compensation was handled. I was offered €30 and was told that, in order to receive this compensation, my Booking.com review should be at least 7/10. This made me feel uncomfortable, as guest reviews should reflect their genuine experience and should not be influenced by compensation arrangements. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of transparency, the room conditions, the cleaning standards, and the way my complaint was managed.

Posizione comoda per raggiungere i punti principali della città. Camera grande rispetto alle aspettative e completamente isolata dai rumori esterni. Tapparelle che garantivano totale buio. Doccia calda e getto dell’acqua soddisfacente.

Il bagno non garantiva assolutamente privacy. Un solo asciugamano grande e uno piccolo, troppo poco per una persona.

The location is really great. Also during the night it's quiet at least despite the very center location.

The room is lower than our expectations and not like how the pictures displayed. We got assigned to the room next to the reception, which was dark, humid with strange smells, noisy during the day as it's just sitting around the corner, so people just stand outside and talk under the window. The floor is not very clean as well, and not like how the pictures showed as carpeted. Staffs are nice though.

Lovely location and property

Very fair price for somewhere in Central Lisbon. Friendly staff who greeted us warmly and addressed any issues quickly (we had a broken soap dispenser which they fixed as soon as we asked). Amazing location within walking distance of so many great spots. Comfortable room to relax in and great facilities including free complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks.

La posizione praticamente in centro… Vicinissima a alla metro. Arredata moderna ma con più di qualche problematica.

Essendo un hotel non può non esserci un servizio check in la sera non dico la notte ma dovrebbe dare il servizio fino alle 00:00. La tavoletta del wc staccata dal water L acqua calda ci metteva un po’ ad arrivare. La pompa di calore emette solo aria fredda quindi se si soggiorna in inverno presumo faccia freddo, come è capitato a noi che il tempo non era proprio così caldo. Il rooftop dove c’è uno spazio dedicato al caffè e per cucinare non ha un lavello dove sciacquarsi le mani o sciacquare i piatti prima di metterli in lavastoviglie presente. Altre piccole cose ma non così importanti ma che vogliono la loro parte: La porta della nostra stanza all interno sotto a contatto con il pavimento si è gonfiata. In teoria se si soggiorna in due avremmo dovuto avere due schede magnetiche per la camera.

We stayed for 1 night at the Marino Lisboa. Our check in was super smooth. We had a lovely room, clean and well equipped for a short stay. The rooftop area is a lovely escape. Location was perfect for us.

Petit hôtel sympa et très bien situé, à proximité à pied du centre touristique de Lisbonne. Lits confortables. Sympathique espace de détente (véranda) en rooftop avec café et biscuits.

L'hôtel ne mérite assurément pas 9.1! De nombreux détails de finition laissent à désirer : douche et toilette adjacentes séparées de la chambre par des vitres partiellement dépolies - Bonjour l'intimité! - Eviers bouchés. Aucun endroit pour pendre les serviettes humides. Eclairage blafard. Le personnel est très gentil mais peu compétent (Incapable de programmer une clé supplémentaire de la chambre sans désactiver la première). Le jour du départ, il faut récupérer les bagages entreposées avant 16h! Attention : le quartier est relativement bruyant la nuit.
