Room was great, clean, comfortable, had a great terrace to sit and enjoy the sun, location to everything in Whitby was perfect, was quite at night so no sleep issue, parking on site, and Jill was a perfect host and a credit to the property.

Nothing it was perfect. Had a lovely stay beds really comfortable.

Comfortable well furnished room in a fine old Whitby house with rather magnificent deeply carpeted stair cases. The room has excellent bathroom facilities. Nice little fridge with various soft drinks and water. Plenty of coffee, tea and fruit tea drinks plus bonus of a couple of instant porridges. Excellent free parking facilities for my car.

The walk up the hill whilst great exercise is hard on the knees when one is older.

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with fridge. Nice extra touches with pots of porridge and cold drinks, tea, coffee , and biscuits. Onsite parking was a bonus . All you need for a pleasant, comfortable few days away.

Whilst location was a short walk into centre it was at the top of very steep prospect hill though not ideal we got round it with taxis back which were reasonable price but bus would of been an option also so it didn't put us off and we would stay there again.

Very spacious and well kept property. Very clean and welcoming. Lovely to have parking included and the hotel itself in a convenient location. Only a 5-10 minute walk to Whitby. Nice touches with the stocked mini-fridge and food within the room. Bathroom was well equipped with necessities.

The mattress was slightly too soft for our liking; this was the consensus making the group booking. Some of our group mentioned feeling springs? However, this didn’t impact our sleep as we were exhausted from a day of exploring and walking. The water temperature in the shower in one of our rooms was very hot and was difficult to change. This was passed onto the staff who said they would report it/pass it on which was nice to know.

Location was excellent. Free parking on site was brilliant. Drinks in fridge and porridge and biscuits were a lovely touch and Very much appreciated. Clean towels provided along with extra drinks after 2 days was great. Lovely room with plenty of storage.

Unfortunately I did not sleep well as the Mattress was quite uncomfortable with open coil springs that could be felt and were noisy . No support at edge of mattress. My partner however, slept fine so I just must be more sensitive.

It was just great place to stay.

Lovely large and clean room and bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room. The porridge and biscuits aswell as the water and drinks were a great touch. Location was walking distance to the town centre. Having parking available made the weekend so much easier and enjoyable..

Plenty of parking, generous hospitality with plenty of towels, tea, coffee etc. Large room with an excellent shower.

There was quite a lot of traffic noise as it is by a busy crossroads and the mattress wasn’t very comfortable.

It was easy to get into. We arrived earlier than the check in time. The room was spacious and clean. I liked that there was a fridge with water and drinks ( especially in this weather!) Also the facility for charging our phones.

The shower was a bit slippery but afterwards The noticed there was a shower mat under the basin. The only problem was the fact that it he plugged wouldn't open after closing so the water had to be left in the basin. I managed in the morning to slide the empty blister pack around the seal. Otherwise no further problems!!

Location was excellent, there was also a large fan in the room for the warm weekend so that was very helpful.

A light at the side of the bed was broken. It did not turn on and was loose on the wall.

Rooms were well appointed with great attention to detail i.e. sockets with USB ports at each side of the bed, fridge with water, orange juice etc. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were immaculate and the onsite parking was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Beautiful room with great facilities

It's a perfect little place, super clean and always smells fresh. Little extras of coffee, tea with extra on the landing if you use whats in the room. A fridge with water, cans of soft drinks and cartons of orange (great after drinking a little too much on a sunny day) pots of porridge and biscuits. The room we had has a very nice balcony area to sit out and enjoy a coffee (and prosecco) and was just perfect. Great bathroom and superb shower. Can't fault anything in number 33.

The room was very big, well stocked fridge with complimentary water, can of pop, breakfast porridge pot and biscuits. Plenty of parking and the owner was there and was very friendly and helpful 🙂 Really good value for money

The walk back up the hill 😁

Spotlessly clean and room was lovely. An added bonus was having the seating area in the garden. We sat outside on a lovely summer evening.

The location is a bit away from the town centre and it has a very steep hill if you are walking from the centre to the hotel so just a warning for people with mobility issues. Other than that I could not fault the hotel, highly recommend it and we will definitely stay here again.

The hostess was brilliant could not do enough to be helpful. 10/10

Little bit far to get to the harbour but they are buses to take you there so no problem.

The room was well equipped with a mini fridge which had orange juice and bottled water on our arrival, hairdryer, fan and kettle everything we needed for our stay

It was up a steep hill which was a little to far out for me with walking difficulties but my overall stay was pleasant

The property is ideally situated, parking for us is a must so perfect as parking is available on site. We stayed in room 8 top floor on a really hot weekend so the room was hot but they provided a fan which was perfect, lovely place ,thought of everything, fridge in the room filled with an assortment of drinks, a very nice surprise and welcomed. Unlimited tea and coffee. Bed very comfortable, can’t fault anything so will definitely stay here again 10 out of 10 from us

The room was very clean and had all the facilities I required. The fridge was a much welcome bonus. Parking for my motorcycle was great and felt 'safe'. As I enjoy walking, the10 minute walk in the heart of Whitby certainly wasn't a problem. I would definitely stay here again and was amazed at how quiet it was in the evening/night. Highly recommended!

The property was easy to find and had ample parking. The room was stunning, perfectly clean and had lovely little touches like complimentary fizzy drinks and water in the fridge and bubble bath for the huge bath that stood in the room. It smelled amazing as you first walked into the building and it set an amazing first impression. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we will be back!

That we couldn’t stay longer than one night!

Plenty of free, private, on-site parking. Easy to find the property. Spacious room with balcony. Plenty of free tea and coffee. Quiet room at the back of the property.

One side of the mattress had a slight outward slope and was a bit firm, but that is a matter of personal preference. Extra padding, ie towels, helped a bit with this.

Bed ,very uncomfortable sadly ,the shower needed resealing . Toilet brush holder needed cleaning . Serviette that the glasses were on in bathroom was very dirty ( through it away )

The bed was so comfortable and the shower was fab. Parking was a massive bonus. It was a 10 minute downhill walk into Whitby. Will definitely book again.

Stayed at number 33 weekend on arrival everything was spot on details given for arrival where excellent .room was clean comfortable little extras like porridge pots biscuits cold drinks in fridge was very nice touch lots of tea coffee available .lots of spacious parking we had a lovely time staying here definitely recommend anyone staying Whitby to stay there we definitely stay there again very soon. We where able to leave car on premises next morning while walk round Whitby again thank you harry n Joanna .

Room very clean and well decorated. The shower was excellent, and hot. Towels fluffy and soft. We liked the fridge with water and soft drinks, plenty of tea and coffee available to help ourselves. Room downstairs so easy to get to. We liked that there was free parking on site, a rarity in Whitby

The bed was very soft and “spongy”, but that’s a personal preference. We prefer a firmer mattress. The property was a distance from the centre of Whitby, about 15 minutes walk up the hill, but a pleasant walk through Pannet park.

No fuss check-in and very happy to accommodate an earlier check-in. Have stayed here before so the fact we returned says something. Ideal for a short break. Note, room only, no breakfast as stated by owner. It is up a hill from town centre if that would be an issue for anyone.

Free parking which is a real bonus in Whitby and just a 10 minute walk into the centre, clean and comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee etc. fridge with free soft drinks and complimentary porridge pots are a great touch. Great bathroom with good shower pressure. We stayed when the weather was rather wild to say the least and the room was lovely and warm throughout our stay. Will definitely stay again.
