I like that there is a few options on the rooms, they all great value depending on what you want. loved the setting, tranquil , and very relaxing, Highly recomended if you want a place for relaxation and hosts were fantastic .

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen Die Ausstattung des Zimmers und des Hauses war sehr ausgefallen und hat uns super gefallen. Ausnahmslos gutes Frühstück. Das gesamte Personal war sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

What a gem. So few times one get more than expected. Super friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was superb. Room and bathroom was beautiful and well appointed. Awesome bath. Enough electrical points by the bedside! Decent wifi. Very comfortable bed. Lovely outside area.

The room surpassed our expectations. The bed was easily the most comfortable we have ever slept in, and the bathroom had a real WOW factor—something we haven’t seen matched anywhere else. Breakfast was delicious and set us up perfectly for the day.

What a warm welcome from Katrina!! We LOVED the attention to detail and the spoils!! The garden is an absolute haven!! Just a pity that the weather was a bit grim, we would have loved to enjoy sitting on the patio or in the garden by the beautiful pool!! The supporting staff - Samuel and Gugu, were very hospitable and served us a mean breakfast!! We also required transport to a venue and we contacted Soloman, who was an amazing person and driver, recommended by Katrina! Thank you to everyone for an awesome stay!

We felt that the bath/shower was a bit too treacherous for us and we would have welcomed a comfy armchair in the suite!

What an idyllic place. A sanctuary in Ballito to have one of the most chilled holiday. For 5 days we were spoilt by Katrina, Samuel and team. Our room was wonderful, all we could ask for, an enclosed patio area leading straight to the pool, the most comfortable bed (best nights sleep I’ve had for months) and something special, a skylight to see the stars. The detail and love that has gone into this wonderful setting is spectacular. The decor, the gardens, the pool. Simply gorgeous! And the breakfast! Wow. Freshly cooked each morning, lots of choice and if it wasn’t on the menu they’re so accommodating. A special place that will definitely be where we go back to when we visit Ballito. Thank you for our wonderful stay! We didn’t want to leave.

Excellent Package

Catherine is very warm and welcoming. Beautiful garden. Breakfast is partly buffet with yoghurt, cereals, fruit and freshly made eggs.

The facilities in the room are very old. Bath tube, so called spa, is too old to enjoy it. When you use it, bad air and dirt comes out of the water wholes. Renovation is planned. Until then this room is not worth the money. Room is very small, to little space for 2 suitcases. Mattress very soft. No safe.

Catherine is very warm and welcoming. We received a nice honeymoon surprise of decoration and a bottle of wine. Breakfast is a variation of eggs, toast, yoghurt, fruit, avocado bread, cereals. Garden is lovely.

The room is very small so with 2 suitcases you have no space left for walking around. Facilities in the room are old. Mattress very soft. There was no safe.

The hosts are truly spectacular, going above and beyond to make the stay good. The rooms were kept tidy. The facilities are amasing.

Everything worked It’s a well thought-out space and beautifully put together. The owner is hands-on and the staff is proactive.

I thought it is on the beachfront, but it’s actually 2 blocks away. Still within walking distance to the beach, so it wasn’t a train-smash. The room size was small, but well-optimised and thoughtfully planned layout. That way, it didn’t feel cramped.

Stunning view, super comfortable & clean - this is a luxe boutique hotel rather than a guest house. The people who work here see it as a labour of love and it was delightful to be hosted by them. Yummy breakfast cooked to order & gorgeous outdoor areas.

My stay at Jakita’s was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Katrina, the owner, welcomed me with such warmth that I instantly felt at home. She has this big-sister energy that is both comforting and grounding, and her thoughtful advice meant the world to me as a first‑time visitor to South Africa. Definitely, I feel I have a friend for life! The property itself is beautifully decorated, with exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness. The serene ocean views and the delightful surprise of monkeys visiting the garden brought me such joy. My favorite place to spend time was the veranda, where guests naturally gathered around the long dining table to take in the ocean views, share stories, and enjoy the easy, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of space that invites connection and makes you want to linger just a little longer. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, lovingly prepared by Goo-Goo or Samuel, whose warmth and hospitality shine through every dish. The meals were absolutely delicious, making the experience feel even more personal. I'm still thinking about my poached eggs, bacon, avo, and the gluten-free bread! Delish!!! Thanks Katrina for being so thoughtful, and getting the gluten-free option for me! Jakita’s is truly a home away from home. If you’re considering a stay, don’t hesitate. It’s a place where comfort, beauty, and genuine connection come together in the most wonderful way. Thank you so much for making my stay everything I needed and more!

Le confort de la chambre. Sa décoration dans le style de la région. Le bois couleur acajou, très chaleureux, pour le sol, le mobilier, les persiennes…, l’originalité de la baignoire/douche, l’ambiance zen. La literie est confortable, le petit déjeuner délicieux. Le personnel est très sympathique et l’hôtesse est absolument charmante, attentionnée, attentive à notre bien être.

Mais quel endroit incroyable !!! Un rêve éveillé. La guest house est magnifique, décorée avec goût, tout comme les extérieurs. Tout le monde a été aux petits soins avec nous, dès notre arrivée, et ce tout au long de notre séjour. Petit déjeuner incroyable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !!!

Everything. The host shared all his favorite spots and experiences with us, suggesting things we could do. The staff were very kind, smiling, and helpful. I recommend it 100% and hope to return very soon. This place is like a paradise. Eveything is clean And the decoration is amazing. Its much better than a hôtel 5 star.

Jakitas is a little piece of paradise on the North Coast. Good, clean safe accomodation and friendly, helpful staff.

We loved everything about Jakita's Guest house, but the staff truly made the experience. They were exceptional hosts, so friendly and welcoming that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location couldn't be better; it’s a short walk to the beach and local restaurants, with a shopping center conveniently located just up the road. The facilities were excellent and definitely worth the price. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Wow what a gorgeous guest house. They have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. One of the nicest I have stayed at. Samuel and his team were brilliant and the breakfast with a view was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful time, I’ll be back!

Alles! Wir hatten die Suite. Ich war mit Betreten des Zimmers absolut begeistert. Es übertraf unsere Erwartungen deutlich. Es ist so liebevoll und geschmackvoll dekoriert. Die Aussicht in den grünen Garten ist wundervoll. Der Strand und Restaurants sind in der Nähe. Außerdem ist die das Frühstück wunderbar gewesen. Alle waren überaus freundlich.

What a beautiful place. The location, view and room were amazing. The breakfast was perfect. We would definately go back.

I arrived on Sunday afternoon, my room was lovely, a little small but had everything I needed. The pool area was well maintained with a lovely garden, palm trees and a sea view. The braai area was also clean and well maintained and close to the pool area. The facility also had lovely outside lounge areas to enjoy the beautiful garden and just relax with friends.

On my arrival Sunday afternoon after 2pm, I was not able to get hold of Samual which was the contact number I was provided with to let me in, after a few minutes I was eventually greeted by his son. The room was provided with a small bar fridge; I know that that bottled water is not a mandated requirement for a guesthouse, but it would have been better than the plastic container filled with water placed in the fridge. Although close to the ocean and the restaurants down the road and a good brisk walk away, I preferred to drive to enjoy my early morning walk on the walkway next to the beach.

The one room said private bathroom but the bathroom is actually outside of the suite but a great bathroom nevertheless. The guest house is open plan except for everyone's rooms but if someone is up you can hear them etc

Lovely lovely place and employees where so nice. 10/10 treatment: we had a late flight and we could leave our luggage and use their faciliteis. Room was a dream. When going back to South Africa this is the place

Samual and his team are friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much for them to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The garden is beautiful and lush. Intaka room has some extras, but it is smaller than the others. Next time we come, we will book Kitari.

Jakita‘s Guesthouse is a very tasteful decorated and designed guesthouse which is hard to top. Staff was very friendly and good restiarant tips. Breakfast was great and freshly prepared according your request. Definitely a strong recommendation.

Tres bon accueil de Cathrina dans ce guest house à la décoration élégante, au milieu dun beau jardin tropical. Les chambres donnent sur une jolie terrasse bordée de bassins où nagent des carpes, dans un discret murmure d'eau très zen. Petit déjeuner au top.
