Abbey View Townhouse

Wir haben ein größeres Zimmer bekommen als gebucht. Und obwohl wir kein Frühstück gebucht haben, haben wir trotzdem ein sehr schönes, vollwertiges Frühstück in unserem Zimmer bekommen.

Leider gab es kein Parking direkt an der Pension.

Wirklich ein schöner Aufenthalt! Für die wunderbare Terrasse war das Wetter leider nicht passend.

Upgraded to four poster bedroom, superb breakfast with everything you could want and more. Huge room and bathroom, very comfortable, felt like a real treat.

Excellent accomodation in the heart of Youghal. We were down for a wedding and couldn’t have had a better experience. Communication prior to the stay regarding self check-in was clear and had no difficulties with it. Everything was spotlessly clean. Easily one of the best period house accomodations I’ve stayed in and would absolutely stay again. The owner was also extremely friendly and a delight to talk to. I wish we’d stayed more than one night!

I have no negatives about the stay.

Everything was geat. Freda is so kind, careful, friendly and polite. Room was nice and clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was great, we enjoyed warm croissants, especially. We highly recommend it.

Super comfy big bed, Freda is very welcoming and friendly, Bella was an added bonus ! The smell of fresh pastries delivered to your door in the morning is so nice along with all the extras in the fridge incl smoked salmon.

There’s no parking on site but that is explained before hand and is not an issue as there’s plenty of free parking nearby.

Easy check in to property, beautiful.room and a lovely continental breakfast the following morning with warm pastries.

Host was very welcoming, room was a good size and comfortable with great options for the in room breakfast. (Croissant, Pain au Chocolate, Smoked Salmon, fruit, Yoghurt) - couldn't have been better.

Tired run down town with many shops, restaurants and bars closed down - sadly - a reflection of the times.

Freda goes above and beyond in abbey view town house her welcome her hospitality and food she supplies for your stay and not forgetting the fresh croissants in the morning we would highly reccommend the Abbeyview town house

Just what I needed. Lovely bright room, comfy bed, clean bathroom. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, plus fruit and additional snacks.

I didn't have anything negative. Parking is across the road around the corner, but not a problem.

Das kleine, aber außergewöhnliche Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Obwohl bei der Buchung kein Frühstück beinhaltet war, wurden wir mit einem Morgens mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstück überrascht und konnten, gemütlich im Zimmer frühstücken. Im Kühlschrank waren alle Zutaten vorhanden. Zudem hingen jeden Morgen ab 8:30 Uhr frische Brötchen an der Tür.

The accommodation was tastefully decorated and has everything you need - self contained en-suite with a queen size bed, wardrobe and dining area with fridge with bottled water, portions of smoked salmon, cheese and ham. Perfect location and a wonderfully welcoming host. A very cosy and spotless room in a house full of character, with smooth and hassle‑free self check‑in. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we had access to a great selection of delicious teas, coffee . The warm, freshly delivered croissants with morning coffee were an amazing touch. We highly recommend this place — truly exceptional.

Stayed a few times, loved it every time we went there. The place has everything. Owner goes above and beyond.

The house is beautifully decorated and really comfortable. In a great location in centre of Youghal yet peaceful and not noisy. The 6ft wide bed in no 2 is lovely to sleep in with plenty of pillows and good quality linen. Shower is strong and lots of hot water, bathroom is spacious. The fridge was stocked w tasty cheeses and meats. Bread and butter along with coffee, tea, cereals, fruit, chocolate bars, orange juice, water and milk were all available too. Fresh croissants and danishes delivered to door every morning was a lovely touch. All much nicer than having to dress and go downstairs for breakfast.

Nothing, it was perfect and will definitely stay again. A great base for exploring East Cork and Waterford.

Wir sind immer noch begeistert von unserem Zimmer. Es liegt am Anfang des Städtchen und man sieht vom Zimmer aus ans Meer. Das Zimmer war sehr gross und sehr schön eingerichtet. Es war sehr warm und das Beste waren die tollen zusätzlichen Aufmerksamkeiten. Freda hat für uns ein Frühstück vorbereitet, von dem wir uns bereits am Vorabend ein Müsli zubereiten konnten. Am nächsten Morgen hing Gebäck an unserer Zimmertüre und wir konnten in unserem Zimmer mit Orangensaft und Kaffee, Käse und Cornflakes frühstücken. Vielen lieben Dank für alles! Wir kommen gerne wieder☺️

Freda was very nice and helpful, providing us with a map of the sights to see in town, and her helpful assistant/dog Bella was also extremely welcoming! The room was nice, with a small kitchenette and some food/drinks provided, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also a great location, just a short walk from everything.

Beautiful period feature house. Simply stunning. Loads of amenities in the room (a shockingly good amount, cheese, breads, cereal, fruit bowl, I could go on). Massive bed with a really comfy sleep.

This is operated by the most lovely lady. She has gone to great lengths to make this home feel like home. Absolutely amazing. We offered to take her and her dog home with us! You won’t find a more welcoming host and clean home than this

Good communication from host, easy self check in, room and bathroom were very clean, good selection of breakfast food, with fresh milk/cheese/ham too. Pastries dropped at the door in the morning. Great shower, smart TV had lots of free movies, bed was big and cozy. Zero complaints for this trip. Really good value for money.

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Abbey View House. Freda was very kind and welcoming upon arrival. The room was absolutely spotless. Fridge was stocked with lovely fresh cheese and ham along with plenty of crackers, fruit and cereals on the table. The size of the bathroom was great and the shower was amazing. The same goes for the size of the bed and its comfort. Would absolutely stay again when down in Cork as its extremely nice for its value. We only wish we stayed more than one night!

A luxurious stay in a lovely building.

The ‘sea view’ wasn’t quite what we expected, we could see a sliver of sea between the 2 buildings in front of our room. It wasn’t a big deal for us, we liked the location being close to the town but others might want a proper view of the sea.

Great place to stay, welcomed by Freda as we entered, we stayed in the king room on this visit, nice big 4 poster bed, really comfortable. Fresh pastries hanging on your door handle in the morning is really nice.
