The staff was very friendly and I had a comfortable stay. Everything important is easily reachable, on foot or by train/tram.

Great budget accommodation for our one night stay. Shared bathroom was absolutely fine, zero issues. The food was great too, generous portion of pancakes! Comfortable room. The owner was so lovely, we had a great time chatting with her and wish her all the best :)

Lack of air con was a struggle in the heat, but there was at least a fan!

Wonderful helpful staff, delicious homemade lemonade on arrival, accommodated me leaving early & storing luggage for me while out hiking. Simple but beautiful clean room, lovely clean bathroom. Would stay there again.

Bed was a bit squeaky & room was a little warm overnight but is a lovely old building so I didn't mind no AC.

Die Unterkunft hat perfekt für mich gepasst, da ich nur für 1 Tag vereist bin. Ausstattung ist allesnda was man so braucht. Die Damen am Empfang hat mich sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen. Ich habe mich auch über die Empfehlungen über Paar Sehenswürdigkeiten gefreut und das Gasthaus ist im großen und Ganzen

lokalizacja, czystość pokoju i łazienki, dostępność restauracji na parterze, pomoc personelu - bardzo dobre! Po przyjeździe do Zurychu zawiodła nas sieć komórkowa i dotarliśmy do hostelu bardzo późno (po 23:00). Mimo to Pani z recepcji nadal czekała na nas (dłużej niż musiała), a gdy byliśmy w drodze do Hostelu starała się pomóc telefonicznie. Bardzo dziękujemy!

Llegamos por la noche y nos dejaron las llaves preparadas para poder hacer el check in solos. Tenían cosas para hacerte un té y demás y eso lo agradecimos mucho.

Estaba un pelín lejos y la calle de noche daba un poco de miedo.

Close to transit, clean room, very helpful staff

Bem próximo a estação de trem, próximo de restaurantes, do lago da cidade, tranquilo e seguro, além das pessoas do bar/restaurante serem extremamente gentis e prestativas. Recomendo super! Quarto lindo, banheiro compartilhado mas organizado.

Senti falta de um ventilador, tem um bem pequeno no quarto, que não serve para duas pessoas, porém o calor não foi nada insuportável nos dias que ficamos

Convenient location. Easy to reach - one stop on the metro away from the main station. Facilities as described. Fairly quiet at night despite being above a bar since the bar closes at 10:30 pm.

The food and drink prices seemed very high, but on a par with the whole of Zurich, which was very expensive.

The staff was genuine. Helpful. And fun. I will come back for breakfast again and again. Window that open. Great location away from the tourists.

Great location close to train station and restaurants. Welcome drink on arrival was appreciated and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom and toilet were well stocked and clean.

Room was hot despite having a small fan. One of us found the bed a bit too low.

Todo estuvo muy bien. La habitación era correcta y, aunque los baños estaban fuera de la habitación, estaban todos muy limpios y eran cómodos. El personal del hotel fue muy amable. Perfecto para pasar un día durante una parada en Zúrich.

Lieu très accueillant (le verre de thé glacé offert à notre arrivée ❤️). Personnel au top. Espaces communs très propres.

Chambre non climatisée ce qui est un peu rédhibitoire en période de fortes chaleurs. Le petit ventilateur à disposition était insuffisant.

It was easily accessible by train. Room was nice and large. Bathroom facilities were adequate.

It was very hot and noisy the night we stayed. Granted it was a 90degree day but even with windows open we couldn’t get it to cool off. The fan in the room didn’t help much. With the windows open it was very noisy and hard to sleep. Would probably not be as much of an issue during other parts of the year.

Vom Restaurant war es bis nach 23h recht laut - die Gäste sassen draussen.

Badkamer is nodig aan onderhoud toe (vieze voegen, schimmel etc), prijs kwaliteit verhouding is voor de eenpersoonskamer absoluut niet passend, zeer gehorig, ventilator is te klein om werkelijk te koelen

Unser Zimmer war super schön und das Personal sehr nett.

Nice, clean, perfect for a night in Zürich. Easy to reach and close enough to the lake and city center of you don't mind a short walk.

We allowed to leave our back pack after check out. Location near to central and old town. Direct train to airport. Restaurant has a great food and coffee.

The water flow in the shower is very weak and small so it takes a long time to wash off the soap and cannot be used for shampooing. The bed creaked and made noises every time we changed sleeping positions. This made it difficult for us to sleep.

Die Lage ist gut. Das Restaurant liebevoll geführt. Schön.

Dusche hat fast kein Wasser. Nur eine Dusche und nur ein WC für etwa 3-4 Zimmer pro Stock. Würde sich mal lohnen, etwas zu investieren!! Im Sommer zu laut.

La habitación era amplia y cómoda para una persona. El baño también me pareció muy cómodo aunque era compartido y estaba fuera de la habitación, pero separada la ducha de lo demás. El personal muy amable y se puede hacer selfcheck out.

No tenía aire y hacía mucho calor dentro de la habitación. La zona no era de lo mejor y estaba bastante lejos del centro aunque a unos minutos caminando a una estación de tren.

Alle waren sehr freundlich und es war sehr sauber und großräumig eingerichtet. Das Gemeinschaftsbad war auch in Ordnung.

Die Dusche im Bad hat fast gar keinen Wasserdruck im 2. Stock, das erschwerte das Haarewaschen sehr. Außerdem wurde am 2. Abend eine laute Party vor unserem Fenster gefeiert.

Karşılandığımızda meyve suyu ikram edilmesi harikaydı. Tuvaletler ortak ama temiz ve sorunsuz. Oda yeterli büyüklükte. Ulaşım açısından merkeze metro, tramvay, otobüs seçenekleri olan kolay bir yerde.

Google mapste tam olarak yer işaretli ama alt katındaki cafe işaretli bi anlayamadık ilk başta. Cafe ye gidin ve içeri girin, otelde konaklayacağınızı söyleyin. Doğru yerdesiniz :)

Sono tornata in questa struttura per il secondo anno di fila. Il personale è sempre estremamente gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Le camere ed i bagni anche se in condivisione sempre estremamente puliti. La struttura anche un bar in cui fare ottime colazioni dolci e salate.

Sehr großes geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer, super das unten direkt ein Café / Restaurant ist. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite MitarbeiterInnen. Auch die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sehr sauber. In 20 min zu Fuß ist man im Zentrum.

Das Bett bzw die Kissen waren leider sehr ungemütlich

We arrived quite late, but they arranged the check-in process beforehand which was straight forward. The room was clean. The shared bathroom was also very clean.

It was so hot when we stayed, so we were unable to sleep. The bed was also very squeaky and had a broken board in it which made a dip in the mattress. The street noise was more than expected. The only staff we encountered gave us no smile...

I loved the location, the cute restaurant downstairs, and the spacious, very clean room. We interacted with two staff members during our stay, and they were both absolutely wonderful. Warm thanks to both of you!

The room was extremely hot due to the ongoing heatwave, and there was no aircon. The small fan in the room turned off whenever the lights were switched off, making it impossible to use overnight. Only the room’s 2 USB ports worked with the lights off, and one of them didn’t work at all, which made charging two persons devices difficult. I sent a message about this to the host through Booking.com, but unfortunately never received a reply. We also mentioned the issue at checkout, and the staff member said they would address it.

Il soggiorno è stato molto breve ma sicuramente ritornerò al Gasthouse ZGG!! Comodo e facile da raggiungere dalla stazione centrale, si trova in una zona con verde e tanti bei locali!

The temperature outside was hot as it was July, there were times where our room and hallway could have used better airflow, but there was a small fan and opening the large windows made it great sleeping! Maybe an over head ceiling fan would help the situation.

The staff were super friendly and I really appreciated the cooling drink offered upon arrival. The room was clean and spacious, and I had everything I needed to an easy check in and check out. The area was vibrant and the cafe below looked really nice although I didn't try it.

This is not their fault, but there was no air conditioning and the room was very hot. The small fan didn't cool things down at all and opening the window let in all the street noise outside. The walls are quite thin so you can hear other people

Good location. They let us do an early check-in (lucky us, the room was ready) and we were able to leave our luggage. Very clean room and great facilities, including a fan which was perrrrrfect for a hot day. Highly recommend!
