Dass das Duschgel und das shampoo so krass mit Wasser verdünnt waren, dass beides kaum noch als das jeweilige zu erkennen war.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The staff were extremely kind and helpful. The double room was spacious and the location was walkable to everything in the city.
There is no AC which there are plenty of windows to open & you’re given fans. But the location of the hotel is very busy so if you stay I’d recommend bringing earplugs due to the noise of people and vehicles outside. Earplugs worked just fine to get a good nights sleep. Also keep in mind you are sharing a bathroom with about 3 rooms, so give yourself time to get ready because you might be waiting for a little.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026The room was great, it had a lot of space, and it was right next t the bathroom. The wood floor was a bit noisy but nothing unbearable. The bathroom was great, really clean and I think I only shared it with 3 or 4 other rooms so it was usually empty when I wanted to use it. The check-in was super easy, I actually requested a late check-in since I was arriving after the check-in hours, and they made it super easy and gave me all the information I needed. It's located in a quiet (I think residential) area, but super close to the main attractions and the main train station. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful.
The mattress was a probably old and was a bit warped but nonetheless I slept great!

Reviewed Sep 7, 2026Sehr angenehmes und freundliches Personal, alles sauber und sicher, gute Einrichtung, gutes WLAN und dazu eine Lage in einem entspannten Viertel voller Leben. Das dazu gehörige Café (Kafi) ist ebenfalls sehr schön und hat ein sehr gutes Frühstück.
Wenn es voll belegt ist (3 Zimmer), kann man Wartezeiten für Bad / Toilette haben. Also entsprechend planen.

Je moet door de Militär-/ Langstrasse om richting Zürich West te gaan. Dat is gewoon een minder leuk stuk van Zürich om te wandelen. Maar er zijn genoeg alternatieven om er wel op een prettige manier te komen.

While it was very warm while we were there, we were provided with two standing fans which helped keep the room comfortable. We had a shared bath, but we were only sharing with one other person, so we had no issues. We enjoyed being able to order breakfast in the cafe right downstairs, which had good food for a reasonable price. The location being close to a tram stop was also nice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Great support from the dtaff in the cafe downstairs. Shared bathroom but one bathroom for every 2-3 rooms, so no issues. Our room was large, had a ton of windows, easy public transport acces. A couple of groceries and stores 2-5 min away In from of a park (looks nice but see what i didn't like) Has 2 parking spots (reserve yours in advance) Nice place overall
The area, especially the park in from is busy and stayed very noisy untill past 10:30 at night both on a sunday and a monday. Since it was hot we could not close the windows thus the noise could be heard. Not an issue if you like action or aren't in bed, but if you go to bed early...... Its a little too far from old zurich to walk but plenty of public transport less than a block away

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026It is close to public transport which makes it easy to get to the central station, or you can walk. There are shops like Migros and Coop and restaurants two streets away. It is very clean.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026We hadden twee ruime kamers op de vierde verdieping, met apart toilet en douche. Het was erg gezellig ingericht meteen groot tweepersoonsbed en een bankje. Een van de kamers had zelfs een balkon waar we heerlijk hebben gezeten. De andere kamers waren met gedeeld toilet en douche en ook al hoefden wij daar geen gebruik van te maken, die zagen er mooi en verzorgd uit. Ook al zit ontbijt er niet bij, het cafe eronder Kari für Dich biedt diverse ontbijt opties aan. Dat was erg lekker! Tot slot nog het personeel: super aardig en behulpzaam! Mochten we terugkeren naar Zürich dan boeken we hier zeker weer. Een absolute aanrader!
Als we iets moeten verzinnen dan was het dat een twee persoonsbed een traagschuim matras heeft, waar we enigszins in wegzakten. Ook was het op de kamer zonder balkon enigszins warm (geen airco).

Vi sa till om att det såg ut att vara bajs i duschen vilket de sa att de inte kunde göra något åt förrän städpersonalen kom dagen efter. Så kunde, eller valde, att inte nyttja duschen.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026It was a friendly residential building, even the shared bathroom was lovely: one normal bathroom for 3 apartments on the floor was okay. We didn't disturb each other. Parking was fine and got a detailed description about the parking place. Staff was really friendly and helpful. There is a nice café with delicious coffee and cakes, they also serve delicious breakfast, though it was extremly pricy. There were two shops within 2-minute walking distance. The room was huge and cosy. The stadium was within walking distance. (20 minutes)
We came for a concert, it was a nice one-night-stay. However, Switzerland is even more expensive than I expected. :/ The neighbourhood was okay, but I wouldn't say it was a quiet place to stay.

A kettle in the room would be handy and maybe a small fridge. There was a fan in the room but really no one to keep it cool (even with shades).
